Me wanting to change something is part of that change. I can and can't stop myself from changing, because either way I'm changing reality. The absolute includes all the possible changes that could happen and cannot be changed because it also includes the changes that could happen to itself.

It is tautological. Whatever happens is what must have happened, even if you change it, then that must have happened.

In this way truth is inescapable. Because any attempt to escape truth is itself a part of truth.

I’m not convinced you’d want to be in a 5meodmt state the rest of your life… 

It doesn’t seem to work that way. But, I like when Ken Wilbur said that:

Awakening * Growing up = Spiritual Intelligence. 

The awakening experiences are of course profound and important in spirituality because it reveals oneness, infinity and eternity. 
 

But, your level of growing up interprets the experience. 

I think a more useful lens is Ken’s model of Big Wholeness, where awakening is its own path out of 5 that we can use to achieve a higher level of development. 
 

Awakening no with 5meodmt isn’t the whole picture. Which is lucky. Yes it can be pure heaven but it gets old.
