Identity is love

10 posts in this topic

Every person is a unique way of seeing things, but we can not afford taking on their whole way of seeing, and they can not afford seeing only in their own way.

The result is deflationary but inherent uniqueness in the respective social structure, this uniqueness in neither active/offensive nor reactive/defensive.

There will also often be contrariant uniqueness to that structure, this uniqueness must be both offensive and defensive. Why?

A sport championship of nations is hardly much followed from the purely aesthetic pleasures, people whose country represent them often follow their nation closely, they know of a world outside their own and want their own inherent uniqueness to win attention. In purpose.

In a dynamic of nations there is active and reactive contrariety, manual and automatic. In effect.

The purpose does not match the effect, only authoritarian love ask to be returned.

Love is being yourself, not losing yourself, but to be yourself without contrariety you have to lose the method that makes you approachable for others, this method is contrariant identity, a constant abstraction of others.

how much can you bend your mind? and how much do you have to do it to see straight?

To love sincerely we must show up to life like a sports fan shows up to an international game, we must show our country without needing others to see what we have shown them, isn't it.

The question is how much is there to show?

how much can you bend your mind? and how much do you have to do it to see straight?

How do we love beyond our own identity?

I think I fail that massively every day. When is the last time you did that?

This is a good short video by Sadhguru on Vairagya, which means being "Transparent", the idea is that You establish within Yourself Your Beingness, Your Experience of Life is determined by You and You alone, You identify with basically nothing, or with the Cosmos, this means that You go thru life untouched, in the video he uses the analogy of Colors, being Colorless, if You can do this then You are available to the Potentials in life and not stuck in a box limited by the identities You have picked up via the society/culture You live in...

Vairagya to me is the basis of all Spiritual practices and has to be established first...

@Ishanga Appreciate the relevant post, but are you really engaging any of my premises, questions or assertions directly?

Do you want me to decipher whether there is a contradiction between the meaning of sadghurus conception of a transparent state and the meaning of my conception of a state of loving self-identity? Or otherwise whether the two are compatibly speaking about the same subject or unproblematically speaking about two different subjects?

My Understanding of what You said above is solved by what Sadhguru is sharing (since You asked "How do we love beyond identity?"), one can go into any culture and enjoy it and be a part of it fully, enjoying and appreciating it immensely then leave it without a feeling of longing or needing to go back, or chasing the experience of it, which happens allot today..

This is what it means in basic form to be Human, we establish our Beingness, which is what he said in the video using colors as an analogy, it is not that I want to be Colorless, it is that I want to experience all Colors and not be totally captured by any one of them...

Today ppl are identified with most everything that touches them, which in the end creates fragmented Human Beings that have no idea of who or what they are but they are going around and living a life, the result of that is what we have today, a very Crazy World imo..

@Ishanga Some could do that while others could not.

Those who could go into virtually any culture and enjoy it would do so but not through their self-identity, that is what you say, correct?

If that is so, leaving aside that I don't think it is true that they love outside their self-identity, how does it work that they can enjoy that other culture, what explains it and how does that explanation relate to their own self-identity and the reason it exists?

@Ishanga If Sadghurus notion of a transparent state would solve this problem, why is it a natural inclination for most human beings to develop a stable and rigid non-transparent sense of self precisely to solve that very problem, who often also solves it. Compare for instance the fragmented behaviour of a child with the rigidity of an adult.

@Ishanga  I see, you want to experience all colors but your actions don't reflect it because you are not sufficiently committed?

Maybe you want to want to experience all colors, if so, why? And if so, isn't it your self identity which expresses its love when though it knows it cant have everything it wants to want everything?

Yes, some could, most cannot because their not very Conscious/Aware, which is a huge problem in and of itself, so its all a matter of that, how Conscious/Aware one is of their true nature, then most all identities drop, unless You Consciously want to adapt an Identity of sorts to play the game of life, but with this one can drop it in an instant, most ppl today are creating Unconscious Identities, they are not Aware of it, or in Perception of it, and therefore cannot drop it at will, so this is a form of slavery and taps into our Ego and other situations that bind us, this is all Karma in play, Karma is the residual effects of all the actions that are happening.

Action is in 4 areas of our life generally, Body, Mind, Emotions and Energy actions, if Your Aware 100% of all the actions taking place in those 4 areas then Your Destiny is in Your hands, if not then your living by accident mostly...Spirituality or Beingness is about becoming more Aware in all these areas and then creating Your own Experience at Will, if its Bliss You want then You can have it, if its Misery You want you can have it, or whatever else in-between. imo this is what it basically means to be Human...

If You choose the be in Bliss/Love as your Base Experience, then You can walk into any culture or situation, enjoy it fully and then walk away from it and not be drawn back or wanting to revisit it, needing it to make an experience happen or wanting to experience something since You already have that within You. But its still nice to taste an ice cream cone, or visit a place and enjoy the culture, it depends on what someone wants to do, how they want to play this game of life, some want to be alone, others want to go out and see the world...
