David Goggins seems to me to have a very self centered brain. How that would relate to hardcore exercising might not be obvious but I see it. He is fascinating

I had to look up what shtick was. You mean it’s a gimmick? If you’re related to Channel’s 5 content it is quite usual to have random crossovers, but between the lines of being funny and random, they being real, talking real stuff, not necessarily intended for comedy, it is in fact a 40+ min talk between them (on Channel 5’s patreon).

I’ve seen this guy in the video on instagram. He originally started out as a caricature of the office plankton ass kisser but his fans started defending him in the comments so he became sort of admired for his positivity and probably a source of entertainment for other white collar guys. He’s funny to me for different reasons, I don’t have remotely the same lifestyle and I would not enjoy working in an office and doing the corporate grind.

I don't think Goggins fakes his personality. He's like an Owen Cook type of guy: extremely driven and borderline insane to any normal person.
