You have accepted to eventually debate with me, you are my mirror who have a serious profil picture and play the « workalcoholic », self development persona, something like that.

I would say to this mirror (you) that living like that tend to make you actually look more weak and feminine. In fine to feel happy but also masculin and strong, you have to be more yin, in other world be social, to party, vape, to wear jewellery, to paint, read heroic fantasies books, etcetc, do more the « monkey » lol.

Even meditation btw.

You also have said that you used racetams and tobacoo, but at long term acetylcholine seems pretty bad for mood and even lightly exitotoxic.

This is an absolutely terrible situation, don't get me wrong . Nevertheless what I'm saying is that EVEN THAT you are imagining, not in some mystical magical cloudy way, but literally " feeling others pain" doesn't exist. When you "feel it", it is an emotional reaction caused inside of your body , caused by your mental filter of how you make sense of what you perceive. Therefore it's possible to turn off that ability of " empathy " or imagining others pain if it is causing you harm.

I'm not talking about becoming a psychopath, let's not straw man this. Personally I'm an extreme empath, but suffering when others are suffering is optional.

Understanding this is advanced metaphysics and I don't expect anyone comprehending the insight that easily

Unconditional happiness to that extreme degree makes you a lazy sloth and ends up backfiring in multiple ways, as you have correctly intuited

Matter of fact, your brain and neuropathways can get rewired to feel good by doing nothing, and when then you try to do something that requieres persistance or effort  you feel resistance and negative emotions ( more than usual ), because it takes you away from doing nothing.

If you're not careful, you can dig yourself into a hole that's hard to climb out of. This is dead serious and unfortunately I was not warned ahead of time

Your values might change, so you might become less effective in the way you're defining it, but not less empathetic, and certainly not less effective in a more general sense. Whatever you're doing, in my experience, you will unequivocally do it better from a baseline state of happiness. And being happy makes you less self-concerned and more concerned about others in a big way. Frankly, unhappiness is basically synonymous with self-concern.
