Letting Go by David Hawkins
The Presence Process by Michael Brown

And remember, it's not about learning about this as much as possible or buying tons of books.
Pick a practice that you can stick to and resonates with you and go dig into your closet..
It's easy to intellectualize something that actually requires deep inner work and commitment.

Good luck!

Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving by Pete Walker

Also depends on how "severe" you think it was.. I could recommend more titles.

I am Lord of Heaven, Second Coming of Jesus Christ. ❣ Warning: nobody here has reached the true God.

Homecoming by John Bradshaw

Had crazy experience when reading this book on the train once. For a brief moment, parts of the text seemingly pooped out making the shape of a fetus. Probably just early, I don't know.

As my daughter was growing up, I occasionally read her excerpts from a book called, "The Myth of the Happy Child".  I was careful, but I wanted her to be aware of 'reality' in an age-appropriate fashion.

Yes, he was an amazing human being.

I have read all of his books and also did a few of his audio programs.
