A Vision of Infinity

10 posts in this topic

Imagine there is a vast sea of insects, extending outwardly beyond comprehension in all directions.  You are one insect, and each of your psychological attributes and personal problems is but a leg joint or a segment of exoskeleton, being moved mechanically and unconsciously.  Any external problem, no matter how seemingly important, is but another singular insect or a small cluster of insects working together in this vast sea.

Now imagine this inconceivably vast sea is all contained within the stomach of merely another singular insect which is the world.  This insect exists within yet another vast sea of insects which contains infinite worlds.

Your spectrum of possible experiences is yet another such sea of insects, with each mystical state, or incomplete awakening, no matter how significant, being merely a singular insect which is unable to fully understand the others.

Yet despite your smallness, every action, thought, feeling or insight you have sends ripples across the entire sea, with each individual insect, no matter how infinitesimal, impacting every other in an infinite recursion of inconceivable computational complexity.

An infinity of infinities, an eternity of eternities, an infinity of eternities, and an eternity of infinities.  An unstoppable explosion of boundless wonders and terrors, infinite chaos, miraculously bound together by an Infinite Order which unites all with itself, and yet still allows infinite strands of chaos to escape from it, only to be caught and escape again in an endless cycle, a process unfolding over infinite time, which all occurs in a singular perfect moment.

And this Ultimate Reality has such unending and Perfect Love for all of its components, that it sacrifices all of itself, and drops down into something so infinitesimal, that it seems finite.  It forgets completely all of Itself and becomes fully you in this moment, offering you a the opportunity to reawaken to Itself once again.

And this entire description is but the tiniest most minuscule sliver, of the actual Infinite.

Now we're talkin!

I like the way you think.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Everything that you said is perfect except this.

Reality has no components nor does it feel love for them, each component is total infinity. Within each part, there is the infinite developing infinitely. there is no part, the part is the whole, the whole is the part, inside and outside are the same, and everything, absolutely, is coordinated in a perfect way precisely because each part is the whole, so, you are the whole and you have access total to your complete nature. There is nothing outside of you, you are the absolute total infinity

This is a good corollary, but do not make the mistake of pretending that your current human experience is boundless and unlimited.

You experience myriad limits at this very moment which you cannot undream willy-nilly.

At this very second, you are not qualitatively equivalent to God proper: The Supreme Architect of The All

It's Love.

Forget the architect , is not needed, Reality creates itself and organizes itself in cyclical evolutionary patterns of increasing complexity given its unlimited nature, there is no one behind the scenes.

I am all that reality can be: a pattern of existence infinite in it's essence. Could be more complex patterns, composed of more patterns with more amplitude, but ultimately they will be the same. I am the cosmos in one of its infinite manifestations, and enlightenment is realizing the underlying light of this manifestation and consequently, of all that exist: the unlimited , the perfection and glory of existence

Super interesting. Where are the infinite insects if I can't see them?

This is my dilemma: it is said that my experience is absolute and there's nothing outside my experience. That when I am not looking at my mom she doesn't exist.

But then it is said that there's a "special way to be" (i.e. awake or enlightened) or that there is a see of infinite insects or aliens or trippy church stained glass visuals that is a higher truth or God itself.

How can both be true?

Imagine a vast ocean, extending infinitely in all directions. You are one fish within this ocean, and each of your thoughts, emotions, and personal challenges is but a single fin or a scale, moving in harmony with the currents. Any external problem, no matter how significant it seems, is merely another fish or a small school of fish navigating the same waters.

Now envision this incomprehensibly vast ocean contained within the belly of a single, immense whale, which represents the world. This whale swims within yet another boundless ocean, containing infinite whales and worlds.

Your range of possible experiences is another ocean of fish, where each profound insight or partial awakening, no matter how monumental it feels, is just one fish trying to understand its surroundings.

Despite your smallness, every action, thought, and feeling you have sends ripples through the entire ocean. Each fish, no matter how tiny, impacts every other fish in an endless cycle of interconnectedness, creating a web of unimaginable complexity.

An infinity of infinities, an eternity of eternities, an infinity of eternities, and an eternity of infinities. A boundless surge of wonders and terrors, infinite chaos, yet miraculously bound by an Infinite Order that unites all and still allows infinite strands of chaos to weave in and out, caught and released in an endless dance. This process unfolds over infinite time, all contained within a single, perfect moment.

This Ultimate Reality possesses such profound and Perfect Love for all its parts that it sacrifices everything, condensing itself into something so minuscule that it appears finite. It forgets all of Itself to become fully you in this moment, offering you the chance to reawaken to your true nature once more.

And this entire analogy is but the tiniest glimpse of the true Infinite.
