Skinheads attacked a hippie festival in Tsaritsynsky Park in Moscow. Several hippies were beaten up. About 10 minutes later, mounted police arrived at the scene. They began beating and detaining the hippies for displaying LGBT (banned in Russia) flags and smoking marijuana. Dozens of hippies were beaten and detained by the police. The rest of the hippies were chased out of the park by mounted police. The skinheads were not arrested, they disappeared before the police arrived

That’s exactly what I thought. The hippies were most literally not doing anything wrong. But they were expressing a strong green value system, for which the red/blue neo Nazi (judging by their tattoos) skinheads and the blue police authorities took offense to.

   Well, that's what they get for being too stage green in a predominantly stage blue/orange Moscow, and displaying things that're illegal in their country and state, and smoking marijuana in an irresponsible way. Obviously easy targets for apparent ultra far right groups.
