that's a big difference.

Yeah. But curing aging is a big thing. I think absolute immortality, i.e. when even infinity itself cannot stop you, requires omnipotence. Then we're truly in spiritual territory to say the least.

Just imagine if 10 million years in the future, you run into an inter-galactic, hyper-intelligent, sociopath asshole who constructs a machine that keeps all the atoms in your body away from each other using some force field, or he locks them inside an unbreakable box in liquid form, or he throws them into a black hole. Even if you had the medical capabilities to rejoin each individual atom back together into your physical form, that helps very little if they're being kept forcefully isolated from each other. These are the things we have to start considering xD

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

That’s a great question, if each atom is forcefully separated but has the potential to return to normal if the force is released, is that person alive or dead? Or does it exist in a state of potential aliveness, is it’s soul free or forever stuck in the potential state. Lmao does it merge with the Godhead on separation or remain a finite experience as separated potential aliveness.

I hope not. I have no interest in live longer than maybe 80-100 years at most.

I want to return to the void someday.

If anything I hope humans extinct ourselves at some point as the planet would be better off without us.

Humans serve no good purpose on this planet.

I can totally see a technology emerging in the future of digitizing one's own consciousness. Like mapping one's brain or something into a database.

Then you can argue if that is true immortality or not.

I'd say that that would be something else, not consciousness.
