Lucid Dreaming

I noticed this mentioned on this thread and people "lucid dreaming". 

I lucid dream all the time. Three times a week, much more when Im pregnant (I am pregnant now so nearly every night!) 

Whats the big deal? And why do you want to lucid dream?
