I've recieved tons of hints that my girlfriends wants to get married and we recently had a kid and I intend to build a solid lifelong relationship with her.

This summer I'm planning to ask her to marry me in as well executed a manner as possible. She's an extremely old fashioned romantic type lady and likes 50 shades of gray so I was thinking something like helicopter ride / champagne / fancy ring / kinda thing but feel free to add whatever ideas you have!

@Kazman 50 shades of Grey fan here too.  I like your idea of the helicopter ride. Make it as personal as you can. Pay attention to things like her favorite color, music on the car ride etc. Then take her back to the hotel, tie her up and blow her mind with some dirty sex!
