Do people hate you?

One thing I noticed in group patterns is if you don’t fit in, or stand out somehow, or perceived as being “different” in some way, people have a very low tolerance for that and you become a target. Who wants to be the same honestly? They’re not even fun why would I wanna be like them? All they care about is money

Maybe it's your environment, race, tattos, doormat, vocal tonality, sobriety.

I’m an Arab female in a white-male dominated career. As much as I cringe at the race card, it’s a real thing, although unconscious. I feel like I unconsciously judge them too, like how are you surrounded by people who are just like you, supporting you, telling you you’re a rockstar, but you still suck at your job? 😂 I guess the downfall of that is the pressure/expectation to perform up to par.

The frustrating part is why can’t we reach a happy median and not start problems with each other? They love problems.

Funny world we live in. Theres wars everywhere and conflict is all we know. Everyone is secretly unhappy. Yet being nice is not good. Ok, guess I’ll just be nice to myself and god.

Anyways what’s  the alternative? Be an asshole, play their game and be ‘accepted’?  What is acceptance? They all say bad things about each other too and rip each other apart, try to make each other look bad, then they say “just joking”..but you’re not really joking If you’re  trying to make the person feel bad and look bad, and all people care about in this job is your reputation. And I know they care about it the job because they’re always coming in for over time, are in love with money, and always ass-kissing the higher ups and making fun of people who make mistakes, going to extra mile to make sure that person knows they suck.

When they wanna gang up on me, they’re all on the same side. It’s like they put up with being torn down just so they don’t have to be alone.
 

Honestly I’ll be less happy fitting in with these deluded people than being ganged up on, so is what it is. I’m tired of second guessing myself.
