Potential risks I think about:

- they can make sex seem less interesting 

- they decrease the need to find a partner but a partner is also important for emotional support

- they cost money and are bad for the environement

 

Potential benefits:

- it can make you less desperate which could result in you looking for a more quality partner rather then the best one to satisfy you

- they are fun to use ofc

- they can let you try out new things you might only be comfortable with alone at first

I have something similar with like a sucking machine I recently got and which motivated me to make this thread. It shocked me how good that thing was even though there was still plenty of ways to improve it. I dont want to hurt a girls confidence when she won't come close to that machine. 

I think for most women they need more of an emotional connection for sex than men. Which is why men get more satisfaction out of sex toys.

If used sparingly and consciously there shouldn't be a problem. A few years ago I also had a blowjob machine "powered by AI". It was good, but the motor gave out fast.
