This book is so good, but its too long. I'm getting a lot of value from it, but I've been mauling through this book for about a year and I'm still only half way through.

This book is so much superior to the Koran, Bible, Torah, etc. And yet, humanity would rather stick to their outdated, primitive, and violent holy books written in the days of competing empires and tribal warlords than get a literary and holy software update and read this book.

Osho was pretty popular.

But the most popular stuff is never the best.

I 100% agree with you.

His popular stuff which appeals to normies reminds me of the sort of Eckhart Tolle and Oprah Winfrey soft spirituality. But he has a lot of really deeper talks, where he even mentions "you are God". My favorite one of his talks is the "take it easy" series.

@Leo Gura here in India there are literally people who "worship " Osho . I'm not exaggerating. That tells who that man was .

Interesting. Didn't know anyone still cared about him. He was pretty remarkable as a human.

Yup .huge legacy. In Kashmir and North India there are flutes and statues for Osho just like there are statues of Buddha in western India.

Well, that sort of goes against Osho's teachings. He specifically taught his version of the Zen parable "When you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him", just in his own words.

But he also predicted exactly this phenomenon.

He taught that a Christ, a Buddha, is only worshipped after they die. When they are alive, the society tries to crucify these people. It is only after they die do people begin erecting temples and bowing to their portraits.

Plenty of mindless New Age zombies were kissing Osho's ass while he was alive.

If he was so against worship he could have put an end to all of it. Instead he got off on it.

In south of India(kerala) Osho is really influential. I know minimum 25 of followers who follow him. Even aethist here likes him coz of his talks against religion.

Because 90 Rolls Royces are simply not enough for one person.

Yes, he was incredible. I have hundreds of hours of his video and audio discourses on my laptop, as well as several dozen of his books.

....How can a great book be too long?
