And what about the collective intelligence of humanity, how can humanity still be asleep ?

The relative world is false and therefore bound to have inherent plot holes (matter, space, time, etc) and maybe this is yet another one, maybe awakening is detrimental to survival to the point that you actually couldn't have society as we know it without it being unexplainably dumb at some point, with dumb geniuses

Why would something like IQ that is like this logical pattern solving intelligence have anything to with awakening?

 

awakening in terms of permanent no self I believe is incredibly rare I believe the so called “neo advitans” or however it’s spelled when they say there is nothing the illusion of self can do to achieve it it’s spontaneous. Even most people who try to awaken in that way don’t .

when it comes to just detaching the self from the mind entirely that is due to self awareness which makes you hate your existence because you’ll be aware of the tension of the mental self. That will lead to that kind of awakening but the total non dual is another thing entirely and seems almost impossible

Intelligence has to be redefined so that it's also connected to level of consciousness and level of development. And even moral development should be a factor.

Boiling intelligence down to one's ability to do complex physics calcuations is, ironically, not very intelligent.

Because there are different types of intelligence.   There are some that are simply spiritually gifted and thus spiritually intelligent  you could be an absolute genius but be completely clueless when it comes to epistemology or spirituality even if you taught them.
