To represent the underwater world.

Stargazer:

Bobbit worm:

Cuttlefish, although hypnotising and not really ambushing, but as a metaphor for how people fall into traps, perfect.

I've seen this hypnotising attack in real life while diving. It's mesmerising to behold. It's one of my favourite sea creatures.

Unfortunately this guy is a bad example of how science and conservation is done.  Even if you would like to call it that. It's just self glorification, and they label it with science. Basically stage Red approach to science, just one step above shooting the animal and then measuring it.

Have to say this Leo blog post had me going. I didn't read the title before watching the video and I was like wtf point of this if the snake didn't snatch the spider. I'm watching waiting for the snake to eat the spider or something then the video ends. That's when I read the title and realized I was the dawgone prey. Got me fooled.

Some more crocs. Mara river crossings are a sight to behold. The zebras know there's dangers in the water, yet herd instinct and migration necessity still make them cross. Also those waters are absolutely infested, look at how many crocs there are. Intelligent of them to gather at that particular time to pick off the zebras one by one.

Now the snakes, first video from 4:17. Crazy elasticity there. Plus the way it forces the windpipe out so it doesn't suffocate during swallowing! Such a meal is enough for 1 year. Used to be deathly afraid of those things before realizing me and it are identical lol.

Playing with crocodiles: that's a trap.

Didn't even occur to me that people can be that foolish. But I guess there is no limit to human foolishness.
