In the last year I have basically completely stopped watching porn. Just feels quite icky to me now not to mention the abuse many women face. This twisted world of porn websites just feels unaligned  

I think one big issue is that it artificially stimulates. I would watch porn not even feeling like it but just to do it because it was something pleasurable to do. But this is like artificially stimulating yourself

Saying this I think no fap is excessive and for myself it’s not practical. You gotta release lol

I would fuck most of the women that I see in porn but would I date them or relate to them on a romantic level? No I have boundaries and am territorial and want a woman with a lower body count for a long term relationship. 
 

so this sort of double standard I think is maybe a problem for spirituality. So generally speak I think my perceptions that I bring to the table could be not good for my connection to the Tao.

But I would say it’s not inherently bad in and of itself. there are some unbelievably beautiful women in porn so it definitely is an enjoyable past time but I think generally it’s not healthy to consume if you have a lot of misaligned beliefs.

I thought that was a profound and beautiful insight about the porn and its effect on our mind in regards how it conditions us to see women. (as objects for usage rather than as human beings with dignity to revere)
