Psychopath. He said he saw illustrations in cartoons and read books about it. He committed his first murder at the age of 16. Probably just saw it in a cartoon. He also mentioned that he was bored. Sheesh! What a way to kill time - like literally. He was asked if he had any tattoos. His response was "no, I wouldn't do that to myself". I wish he thought about those girls the same way instead of branding them with a hammer.

This was very disturbing to listen to and how calmly he described his killings. Makes you wonder how many are out there just walking around with this frame of mind.

The subtle dangers of cartoons that depict violence.

After doing some body language analysis, and in this case both verbal and statement analysis, I've concluded the caller has some degree of psychopathy but he's not a serial killer. Why? Because he had too many 'ums', 'uh', those filler words, which indicates internal processing/thinking about your answer. Also for 50% of the caller interview he was deflecting questions, and his voice sounded in places unsure, uncertainty, and surprise, which honestly if you're a serial killer, and you have killed, there's little uncertainty about the recollection. Here it's likely he's trolling, and the fact that the caller 'Clay'  here was surprised in his tone to realize he's talking to Howard after already conversing with him and his female colleague, plus Howard's reputation at that time as a dark humour radio show guy, creates enough doubt in me to say he's faking here.

So after doing some body language analysis, tonality and verbal, and statement analysis, I feel it's likely just hi trolling this. What makes this trickier is Howard's and Robbin's way of questioning him, and some of those questions are them interjecting their bias onto him, AKA asking leading questions and making some assumptions. Just how he answers them, his voice, the amount of 'um', 'uh', and intonations that indicate feelings of uncertainty and unsure feeling is there, there's enough for me to say he's trolling. I don't think it's real in this time of typing. If you have further proof the caller 'Clay' is an actual psychopath and the actual serial killer let me know here or dm please.

You're probably right, reflecting on what I remember. Seems to be the case.

@Danioover9000 Dude, you should stop doing your body analysis thing :D. This is not a typical psychopath, they come in all different shapes and I have no doubt that a person such as Howard has exceptional interrogation style while keep it friendly.
