Helpful personal traps AI prompt

19 posts in this topic

So I pasted some of my notes into Gemini. These are self-reflective observations I made, lessons and mistakes. Then I gave this prompt:

Quote

Next I will go ahead and simply paste a note from my notebook for you to review. This notebook I called "2024 lessons" so there's a few random things I've learned so far this year. Your job is to tell me 3 key areas I need to focus on and tell me about potential traps I need to watch out for this year.

After that I gave it this prompt:

Quote

And finally assume the role of a person who has lived a very fulfilled life and has reached the goals I have and far beyond, and is very happy and blessed at an old age. From that perspective give one main bit of advice personally for me.

It gave me a beautiful personalized advice.

I think there's many good ways to use LLMs and ask for potential traps when starting a project.

Another prompt I used for my finances, very interesting:

Quote

how does one go about their personal finances properly versus how most people go about it. Talk about both mindset and actions

This prompt is very good; how most people do something vs. properly doing it.

Gemini is terrible... It forgets the context so quickly and the answers are so vanilla it's hilarious

I'm stuck with Politically Correct ChatGPT, Claude still not available in Spain

I got Gemini Advanced since last week because it came with a free 2-month trial of Google One (2TB package which was 1 step above my old package so why not). It works surprisingly well but it's unable to generate images.

Same thing could have been done in GPT-4 which I had before, but Gemini Advanced feels more personal, like it has more social intelligence.

Would love to try Claude sometime soon, heard good things.

@mmKay I think that's just a quirk of using free version, could say the same about GPT 3.5 which is just poor once you're used to 4.0.

It ain't that simple, they check the issuing country of your card. Tricking it is possible, like a with virtual CC via USUnlocled or something, but a lot of hassle. I currently use Opus thru Perplexity, but it has a smaller 32k context window compared to the official platform.

@LambdaDelta

Try Statescard. It's more simple. It has a one-time fee and then a monthly fee (3.95 dollars) and loading fees, which you can check at their website.

USUnlocked is more complicated.

32k is still pretty good. Enough for most conversations.

Yep, it's plenty. Not too long ago the best was like 8-16k on GPT4. This stuff evolves crazy fast.

@Leo Gura According to Claude, you're an author:

He has written books like The Job Myth and Meditation Theory exploring concepts around work, purpose, spirituality and meditation.

So that's that. ;)

@Leo Gura I posted my life story on Claude and told it to rank my resilience(ability to bounce back from setbacks) on a scale of 1-10? Here's the summary. Is it true , am I not deluding myself with these prompts but the story that I have provided of my life is real.
