Pro-palestine/israel

Being "pro" for either side just makes the conflict last eternally. I believe most people who self-describe as such don't truly want peace. They want perpetual war.

They're too arrogant to step down and move towards peace.

Remember in elementary school when the teachers taught us that being a bystander is no worse than being the actual bully.  Especially in USA or Canada where they didn't vote for palestines bid for membership in the UN it can feel important for us as citizens to say we disagree or agree with what our government did.

in my country, primary education is bs and I don't remember anything of it.

I'm neither American nor Canadian so I don't care what they do. However, I stand by my points.

@bebotalk You must be pro something, even if it is not one of the sides, but something else for example the health of the dynamics between the sides, what personally I feel I am for it, even if it means to acknowledge things my side do that aren't right.

You can't be neutral and you can't even write a word here without being pro something more than other things.

Of course my emotions are found in the Israeli side I can't change that. My life is here.

I don't understand the connection here.

I'm neither Palestinian nor Israeli. I have no reason to be pro either side. I look at them and think they need to sit down and recognise what's done is done and reach an accord that lasts for many years. Hopefully, for decades or centuries or millennia in the future.

If they don't, then they'd spend a very long time killing each other out of vengeance, and in some regard they'd deserve it.

They want justice not just peace.

Any side could achieve peace right now, if they would completely drop all their standards and would completely submit to the other side's wants , but of course both sides take into consideration much more than just instant peace at all costs.

Justice isn't always attainable. Justice can be relative. For some, "justice" is to remove all Israelis from the region. October 7th was "justice" in some people's eyes, and payback for the treatment they've received from Israel.

If they cannot agree to share the land and see the realities, then they will fight forever.

There were four different signed agreements between Israelis and Palestinians during the 90's, just before the 2nd intifada has started, and after that another trials in 2002-3, 2007-8, 2010 and 2013-14.

And these agreements have been violated, or were in part signed in bad faith. Yes, they were a path to peace, but then their effects have been minimal.
