My journal

6 posts in this topic

Let's start a journal.

Lots of shit I'm into recently.

Just wanted to organise them in strategic way . Cosmos instead of chaos.

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

Lol. Can't wait. This should be fun. I can't stop cracking up. You and me both. I've decided organizing an online journal is too much thoughts, so I'm just going to write as it comes, even if I organize, it'll be on the spot. Do you. Love it. Mines is "Conversations with Thoughts."

I was about to make an entry then I spotted yours and now after writing all this I forgot what I wanted to say. Lol. Couldn't capture that mess. Oh well, there are more messes to come.

The Cosmos is chaos. Why do you think you want to write. To put order to this chaos. Don't worry, chaos is good. Makes room for order.

@Princess Arabia hi .

I just figured instead of posting a thread every other day on the forums and annoy people that i just express my thougts here . But they (my thoughts) are going to be different . I will avoid all philosophy and spiritual stuff . Just focusing on handling the basics of my life . By eliminating bad habits (like over-using this forum as mental masturbation as an example) and cultivating positive habits . And these two will include stuff like:

  • Quitting the forum for few months
  • Quitting smoking .
  • Quitting jerking off (but not porn ).
  • Fitness (I have some ugly belly fat and want to lift weight and get ripped .
  • Law of attraction.
  • Making new friends (especially a new girlfriend.
  • Improving myself as a man.
  • Meditation.

If you have any advice please go ahead .you are a smart lady .

@Someone hereI'm loving listening to U G Krishnamurti right now. He speaks with a lot of wisdom. About life, thoughts, the body, existence itself etc. Very different from the regular Spiritual "teachings", we've been accustomed to. A lot of what he says, I agree with. Resonate with just like how I resonate with Jim Newman.

I don't just go along with everything, I use my own judgement or whatever you call it and discernment. I try to understand what he's saying not just hear. Try him out, you might like his messages.

I don't know about the normal meditation practices. The one where you sit and try to eliminate thoughts. I don't think it does anything but confuse the brain and creates all sorts of conflicts within the body. He speaks about that too, also yoga practices. It's up to you; but I find his reasoning to be of merit when I look at the bigger picture. So much stuff we've been taught in Spirituality is bull. Not all, but some. I've heard a lot; and now it's time to think for myself, if there's even such a thing. So many contradictions, so many isms and skisms.

I'm not afraid to do so and run into the possibility of deluding myself or anything of the sort. I've already recognized that you can't go wrong in the "end". I enjoy this stuff and that's why I engage with it. I'm learning how to mix the two, (Spirituality and "Real Life), it's impossible to separate the two because they are one of the same.

I hope you manage to accomplish or turn around what it is you're doing. Congrats to you to even have gotten to this point. I saw it coming, anyway. Anyway, I'll be reading your journal; and if I see anything i can add or suggests, I'll be glad to - same goes for you with mine.

Much love.

I will just leave this right here. This is a good one from him. It's 30mins long, so watch at your leisure. I just watched it. I won't post any more videos here, just wanted to give you a sample from him. If you resonate, you resonate. I'll pop in from time to time. Enjoy your writings. Any questions just ask.

He is good but I think he is a bit overrated.  I have listened to him in the past ..but he provokes your skeptical mind and makes you think a lot ..opens your mind to new perspective without giving you direct answers . Also his pace is slow ..he speaks very slowly..I always have to speed up his videos to 1.5X to not get bored lol.

Jim Newman is the shit and its very clear how influenced you are by him .but keep in mind that that is just one perspective to look at the world .there are other perspectives. So don’t fall into this trap of aimlessly mumblimg "there is no you ..no time ..no nothing lol".

I do . And I'm familiar with his nonteaching.

That's correct.  There are hundreds of spiritual schools and methods to meditation etc ..but to Me it simply boils down to sitting down in a quiet place and remaining silent.  You can't silence thoughts ..you can only watch them or disidentify with them . The more you try to force yourself to stop thinking and just be present and empty-headed the more you mind will run rampant. Its counterintuitive in that sense .

How so ? Are you familiar with Maslow’s Pyramid ? It says you should get your material life together first before you can raise your own priorities to consciousness and enlightenment.

So far all I'm doing on this forum is mentally masturbating lol. I want the "real deal ". A true mystical experience.
