Seek and you shall never find !

36 posts in this topic

What I seek is the end of seeking .

Simple example : if you are hungry you seek food to end the seeking aka hunger . You get the idea.

In our spiritual quest for enlightenment or liberation..if what we seek is the end of seeking ..how can you seek the end of seeking? .. Isn't that seeking to end seeking ..which is (again )seeking ?

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

Your title made me chuckle.

I have nothing to say to anybody about seeking. All you're going to get are rebuttals and how you're full of shit. Nobody cares about what the "commoner" has to say. They want extravagant, complicated and twisted and "unstraightforward" messages that their minds can't wrap itself around. Messages from gurus in a big chair, a long white beard and a turban a mustache or that seems to be at peace and talks with reverence and never blink. Hence your Avatar. Lol

If it's not complicated it's not received. If it's a message that suggests the undoing of something that doesn't replace it with another doing, it's rejected. If it's not something that perpetuates the self, the sense of an individual and is not about the whole, they don't wanna hear it. What's the point. None, since it doesn't matter anyway because there's nothing else to do but seek. Meditation is the worst form of seeking because all you're doing is sitting and trying to use something to stop the very thing you're trying to stop which only perpetuates the thoughts even more. It's a life-long battle of thoughts that meditation is only there to mediate which is also another thought.

"What you seek is seeking you" - Rumi

You think you are seeking the effortless space where there's no striving but perfect peace. Yet it is that effortless all pervasive presence peace that dissolves the agitated ego and striving and merges it back into the source.

If you don't seek you will never find. And you are designed to seek, so you will seek regardless. Even when you find you will still seek, what do you think consciousness does? Consciousness seeks a fuller expression of what it is. So seeking is just what consciousness does. The more advanced the intelligence the more it will seek to advance itself more because...why not?

So it's simple, you seek because you are consciousness, and consciousness loves to seek itself. All those non-dual teachers who teach the end of seeking? They seek an audience. You see? So seeking is the game that consciousness plays. Everyone on these forums are seeking to read, and write.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

Seeking is not the problem. If you're looking for God, if you're looking for peace and happiness, if you're seeking the end of suffering, things like that; it will never be found if there is a separate individual. Nothing wrong with exploring for exploring sake. Nothing wrong with seeking either. Nothing wrong with anything.

Why does one's actions always has to be because a teacher said so. Or has to be the sole reason why one stops doing something or starts doing something. Spirituality is being treated just like Religion. Pastors all over the place. It's just called Gurus instead.

It's not about seeking to end seeking. It's about becoming aware of something you've missed your whole life. Of something that transcends all effort and striving. That awareness is what ends all seeking as a consequence of that realization.

You got it backwards.

If you don't seek, you will never find that the very thing that causes you to seek will dissolve as a result.

That the seeking itself was a goose chase, but it had to be, to be able to make the question dissolve or evolve into nothing.

Only when the question is nothing, the seeking of nothing ends. Until then, there's a seeking of something.

The realization is, that it - the thing that was searched for - that which the question is supposed to unveil, was right here all that time, it just could not be seen.

Seek and find that there was nothing to find.

Only when that is experienced, that statement makes sense.

You do have a point here. Well said.

Seeking never stops. Everyone on here is seeking attention.

What kind of a statement is this. That's just an undermining of the use of the forum for some.

There's a difference between seeking and walking. Being without searching. Interacting without need for accomplishment. There being a foot in two worlds, being in the world but not being of the world.

And, just, because why not?

Being without searching

Looking without searching*

Or paying absolute attention without any purpose.*

It's a limiting perspective on what is - there can be "no seeking", interaction - and - figuring out how to walk this world.

It's a no easy task. Integration, or rather "forward reintegration" into the world posts challenges that are as challenging as dissolving the question that initiated the separation itself.

There's a push-and-pull that wants a "reversed reintegration" *with* the world.

It can't really happen at that point where the separation has already occurred, the point of realization. Yet it presents confusion, a constant cognitive dissonance. Living within the paradox, until transcending the paradox. If it happens.?.

...

The dissolvement of the question. No more questions to be asked. No more answers to be needed. No one to need searching. And no more *need* to convince anyone of anything.

Why wouldn't I, I literally said Consciousness seeks itself. Knowledge is self-recognition. Consciousness seeks to recognize its being in infinite ways.

So how can anything be excluded? So by default I am too. It doesn't matter if I deny it or admit it, Consciousness has a nature to it and part of it is to seek itself.

Even solitude is seeking. You are seeking an experience of solitude. Consciousness does not need to create anything, so if it is here it is because it has willed it to be.

We are Born to be Seekers, most everything we do is about Seeking, Seeking to be More than what You are right now, Seeking Success, Money, Power, Spiritual Enlightenment, Knowing, not Knowing, its all there... Seeking is akin to Desire, if You have No Desire, there is no Life, when You read a post and want to answer and do answer, that is Desire in Action.. Only those that Experience absolute Oneness and Completeness have no Desire, and that is when Seeking stops, for most ppl that is when they disembody and no individuality remains, only higher ups, Guru's, Masters of all sorts can stay on with a body and function here on this plane!

What's the correlation with these statements and "everybody here is seeking attention". Is Consciousness seeking attention?
