Christ fulfilled over 300 prophecies.

A divine exchange. His life for yours.

Thoughts on the graph? It is written by 40 authors over the span of 1500 years on 3 different continents. A true masterpiece!

What is the context of the graph? How many prophecies were not fulfilled? Is saying there will be war and disease in the future and it happening a fulfilled prophecy? Or is that someone claiming something that always happens is going to happen again as if that is some proof of divine intervention?

To me, it seems like Christians use the story of Christ to serve their own agendas. I’ve had many mystical experiences where I’ve felt a connection to Jesus, but trying to reconcile that with what Christianity manifests as in the world today makes me viscerally sick.

He certainly had an interesting childhood cursing people.

https://udayton.edu/imri/mary/c/childhood-of-jesus.php

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

It is a gnostic text and does not match with the teachings from Jesus.

»But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.«
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭

The gnostic texts were part of the original Christian texts. They were removed and seperated when the Bible was created because it did not serve the purposes of the Church and the establishment of their religion. If you study the history you will see why that happened.

And I can easily use a verse from the Bible that contradicts that.

https://www.bible.com/bible/1/MAT.5.38-48.KJV

https://www.bible.com/bible/compare/EXO.21.24-27

https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Matthew 5%3A17

Now with that last verse Jesus was not being entirely honest. He was coming to destroy the law of Moses because the law of Moses taught an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and he was teaching the opposite. But his claim was that the law was written that way because they were not ready.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew 19%3A8&version=NIV

So Jesus was making distinctions between what he taught and what Moses taught and was saying the law was written the way it was because they were too selfish. But the Jews who didn't agree with his new teaching of grace and mercy because it went against the code of punishment from Moses that Moses claims God himself wrote reveals there is a huge contradiction.

Christians don't want to deal with this contradiction so they pretend it doesn't exist. Which is just more dishonesty.

Oh and I point again that Jesus said you were God.

https://biblehub.com/john/10-34.htm

And he pointed that it was written in scripture that you are God. Here is the scripture he was pointing too.

https://biblehub.com/psalms/82-6.htm

So pretty much the whole Christian Church does not understand what Jesus was saying and wanted to stop everyone from realizing they are God.

He tells you that God is within you by telling you the Kingdom of God is within you.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke 17%3A20-21&version=KJV

But again you have to deny these texts because they don't fit your flawed biased perspective that Jesus alone is God.

God does not play favorites, favoritism is a human thing. Which again is in the scriptures.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+2%3A11&version=KJV

God wouldn't make one person God....because everyone is God, because God is present as all things which is why God is omnipresent.

I am made in the image of God and one with God through the Holy spirit. God showed me my soul so I know that I am something far more valuable than this wretched body of death. Your soul is not my soul and have you ever created as much as a speck of dust?

The gospel of Thomas is a gnostic text wich stems from a sect. look it up. It has nothing to do with the pure teaching of Christ. It is a reason God won't allow for it to be in the Holy Bible.

Jesus said we are like gods not God himself. God hears everything so there is no need for an corrupted church to repent.

What is meant by cross referencing?

a reference from one part of a book, index, or the like, to related material, as a word or illustration, in another part.

The context is OT and NT. Amazing right ?

Some are very easy to detect like God telling Abraham to sacrifice his own son around 2091 B.C and then God sacrificing his own son around 30 A.D

Other cross references are elusive and can be difficult to find even with the use of technology. I don't think humans will ever be able to find them before the end. It is the word of God.

Regarding the prophecies, some are easy to detect and are in great detail others are difficult to understand and hard to detect.

I have not read any vague prophecies of the sort you mentioned in the The Holy Bible.

Here are some cool prophecies with Probability of chance fulfillment.

https://reasons.org/explore/publications/articles/fulfilled-prophecy-evidence-for-the-reliability-of-the-bible

Regarding your contempt towards Christians I will say this. Eternal life is a gift that most people reject. Many people have works without faith and claims to know Jesus. The scripture from ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ comes to mind.

»Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’«

This can quickly backfire 😊

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

If you pay attention you will notice that even in his last days before crucifixion not even his disciples understood what he was talking about

@MellowEd Many things have been done to GOD. Cause God is in everyone of us. Jesus realized that, that’s the main difference.

I honestly lost the overview:

Jesus...

and where does the Bazooka come from?

And since we are here happy nondualistic (and some even solipsistic) folks, who would rejects the validity of MellowEds statement that Jesus is God. Since there is only God...

Don't be so quick to judge. Not everyone here are nondualistic.

But yes most people perish.

@Water by the River

Uh... you must be confusing me with another guy.

I swear, I wasn't even home that evening!

Anyway, I'll take the compliment. B|

PS: I just learned my new favorite word on Wikipedia: Coeternal.

Mmmm, that's a good one. I am going to try to use that word in a bar conversation tonight. Wish me luck!

I mean, what could possibly go wrong? ^_^

Next topic for the bar conversation, flowing smoothly from one topic to another, could be:

"As the Fourth Lateran Council declared, it is the Father who begets, the Son who is begotten, and the Holy Spirit who proceeds"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity#Trinity_in_literature

Then, one could go cross-cultural: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trikaya

And oh yes, it was YOU. All of it. Because, hm, only game in town. Infinity, and such...

PS: Good luck!

Good God, we have another case of Solipsitis. Yikes!

Alright, you know the drill... self-quarantine for ten days. Which should't be too hard if you're quite literally the only Self in town.
