How do I block a user?

Hi, I'd like to know how I can block the posts & comments by a given user (some of the user avatars creep me out), I don't see this function in the user profile page.

If I’m not mistaken, there used to be a way to do that on this forum. I recall a thread made by @Leo Gura a long time ago explaining how to customize your forum experience by doing this. I no longer see that thread, so I assume Leo disabled that feature.

It has not been disabled. You can find the feature in the account settings. There is an Ignored Users page.
