Zero surprise. It's been predictable for months that this would become another regional conflict. Both sides kept pushing it, and the world is so far right-wing that all the governments in power react virtually the same.

We have one more chance not to go further. The next few days is going to decide what happens. If it's a regional war, it'll be no surprise that China moves against Taiwan. I'd be surprised if that didn't happen in the next couple of months.

For America, this all makes a Trump presidency very likely, and for the rest of the world, making it three ongoing regional wars, which is close enough to call it WW3.

This attack looks designed to be easily intercepted. Iran has said they consider the matter concluded. It looks like this is just bluster to placate the hardliners who wanted a response without causing a war.

I think Russia will stand in with Iran if it gets that far. 

Iran has to look like it’s done something even though they know these drones wont do anything, unless Israel lets a few land? Nothing would surprise me with Israel.

Why would Russia risk a direct confrontation with the US to help Iran? At best they might try to block US intervention to avoid the war  escalating and hurting their allies in the region.

They should have retaliated only if they were attacked directly. bombing some bunker in Syria, is a very silly reason to launch attacks.

I mean it is my right to say that I do not like Israel and I want it out of the "civilized world" group of countries.

The way they act in Gaza shows their level of development when it comes to war and tactics they use is not higher than Russia.

Genocide commiters is not something I want Western countries to ally themselves with.
