What to do when your reality melts and u become unstable ?

Its kinda scary how easy it is to lose sense of reality doing this work and how easy it is to fall into a trans or depression while doing it . 

What do you reccomend for safety and how do you ground yourself

Grounding. Go outside and walk barefoot for 15mins/day.

The best thing is to focus on the outside. Not so much in your thoughts and pay attention to everything around you without judging. Thoughts are the problem. They are not real.

Socialize with the avearge human about mundane stuff like:

• Who won the game last night?
• What kind of lawnmowers are on sale?
• What font should you should use on your invitation?

The more minute, practical and dry the better. Do this and you'll fall back asleep in no time.

Martial arts. Haven't discovered anything more grounding and stabilizer for heavy spiritual work.

For awhile dissociate from depressing emotions or thoughts. Always remember that the body and brain react on their own to things, but you have the ability to dissociate from it. 

You can also try to practice being okay feeling depressed. One of the things to look out for is toxic positivity. 

You don't have to feel good emotions to enjoy life. When I discovered I could feel fearful and secure at the same time it blew my mind.

You are infinity, which means you are not some individual emotion and thoughts. You have the ability to receive emotions and thoughts and generate the opposite at the same time.

@abrakamowse man all you do doesnt make sense anymore ... everything you wanted was inside of you ... why you wanted to be succesful was to feel good enough not for the thing itself or to be liked by others the whole time it was about liking yourself ... See how easy it is to lose yourself in these thoughts and if u say dont think you are making huge mistake cause how are you going to change your emotional state which determines your succes AT EVERYTHING your attitude etc ... you got to make a good frame from which you operete which doesnt fall from the skies...

It falls from inside you when you stop thoughts because you were always there.

Thoughts come from others and from external things. So stopping the thought stream makes you find yourself.

 

What do you think those zen masters are doing in their monasteries? 
When people says I want to find my real self, that’s what you should do. Thoughts judge and create the idea that you are a person separated from the world and the truth is you are everything.
