@Nivsch Hey man it's a straightforward question.

Do you think Jewish settlements are a national value?

I am not identified with the settlements and not for them. But the right wing pushes it.

Notice how you can't answer the question directly. But the Israeli constitution makes it very clear. So you don't have to.

Honestly we are good. I don't intend to change your mind. You are entitled to defend Israel because it's your state.

@Bobby_2021 I have answered you directly. The right wing is mostly for the settlements (see reality is nuanced unfortunately) and sometimes still wanted two state solution that would end the settlements expansion (no new settlements will be built in the palestinian state area).

The center and the left are anti settlements.

I can say the same about you or if not you (nothing personal), many people here who developed a negative bias against Israel because such and such medias, and now they will always filter what I say through those lenses. This is why a mediated reality is a dangerous thing.

I live in Israel and I saw yesterday a Muslim praying in the middle of a prime location. It made me realize how more evolved Israel is compares to 90% of the countries. I am proud to be a Jew who lives in Israel.

That’s not evolved, you see that in every western country too. 😂

evolved countries don’t commit genocides. Epic fail.

All the religions are hating all the religions. Some are hating more. In paganism, this happened with tribes - in the modern paganism, it happens between cultures that we are pagans and not loving each others.

I can see certain reasons in Islamism, especially when I think that they are a narrow religion with not much social ties. The part of Islam, which is more socially connected, is the Spiritualism - as usual - and this is called Sufis. To be uniting the world, maybe our people have to connect with sufis, to form a more enlightened global community, and discuss the problems with them. We cannot do with only an agression - with some parts of the society, there must be an understanding; if they are more evolved, you can have even battles with them, about the world views - normal Islam people would easily get just agressive with the people you point out as mistaken, and lead the solutions further away.

Also you need to remind them that Islam has been more open and more a world culture in certain periods of time and that this is more true viewpoint also by their religion. I think we cannot start the world war - we need to have ties everywhere and multicultural society needs to grow stronger, so that others would be more into pieces and cannot battle this very much; even Christianity, once, was connecting the cultures despite having a world war. If we got whole world as our enemies, this would not help us much. Maybe we need to study the Islam, see, where there are scientific arguments and which part is solid foundation of belief; and how the Sufis handle the thing that they can be interculturally connected, despite being Islam. A normal Christian viewpoint or maybe even a Jew or maybe even a common European and American person, we see them more or less with pure negativity - but as we cannot just kill whole that part of the world, I think they survive anyway, we need to work to see the similarities of religions, how we phrase the same, deeper knowledge and how the religions form one common union. For example, they tend to see Christ being at least a prophet; even the terrorists thought they saw something problematic in our culture and fought with that, "helping common people"; and I heard one black Muslim saying that "God must love the White - European - people, because they made them so rich". Well this is not much facts, but I have seen in the books, there have been certain periods of Enlightenment in Islam, where they made stronger ties with other cultures and the Wise Men of Islam - like Omar Khayyām - were believing they can talk with Wise Men of other cultures; also they were so Islam that they had even the Koran in their head. If we only fall into paranoid thinking, we cannot spread the light - something must happen between our cultures, where the best part of our culture connects with the best of their culture, and creates a Vision to spread; the war is happening in the other part of culture, which "protects the walls". The conflict psychology must be developed such that we can talk about the problems and pains, argue and yell, without starting to kill each others; the human-side of Islam has to be seen. For Jews as well, such part of the community has to exist, which is diplomatic, open-minded and uniting, and supported by the community to avoid the worst, and give rise to every potential positive seed they see - in cultures, always, both sides have to exist, the conflict side, which fights for the borders, but also the peace side or the idealistic side, which fights for seeing the shared, united part of them all, and speads the "good messages" amongst them, so that they could believe at least some. This part cannot fight on the battlefield so easily, and they must be neutral and diplomatic, and dig deep to find the positive aspects in other religions. For example, why some Muslims say that their religion was supposed to bring peace and unity?

@Leo Gura You said before that Western corruption is due to the West holding most of the world's power and if the Middle East held the same amount of power they would even be more corrupt with it. After witnessing everything the past couple months do you still feel this way?
