Tinnitus - Mega-Thread

I think it's a point very interesting with the tinnitus. The strong tinnitus is a real shit, like chronic pain, it's something that is in your brain without stop a second, and seems that is going to be there for ever. There in only one solution: ignoring it. It is possible, I'm doing a concious effort to achieve that because I think I have to live with it for ever. You can put it in the background of your mind, like it doesn't exist, I get it some times , others it's impossible

What caused your tinnitus?

I have been dealing with ear pressure and tinnitus for years now. I have an audio test that I took a few years ago. If you want, I can send it to you.

caffeine or modafinil makes my tinnitus sharper, clearer, and louder 😵‍💫.

I am a sound engineer so. After more than 18 years of working, I realize that I might have been listening at high volumes sometimes.

Leo is Lumbar number 5 and 6 have to do anything with tinnitus?

How loud is your tinnitus on a scale of 1 to 10?

Mine is usually around 6, 7, or 8. Sometimes, even in a very quiet place, it spikes to a full 10 😵‍💫 for a few seconds, then it fades.

Have you found any solutions that worked for you?

A friend once told me, "LOVE WHAT YOU HEAR."

When it gets loud, I take it as an opportunity to just listen and be mindful. I like to listen to that ringing sometimes how the sounds and tinnitus fade IN and OUT 🥹.

It can be spooky sometimes,When it goes crazy, especially after working with audio, it usually means I'm tired and need to take a break.

Listening to different frequencies such as brown noise, pink noise, or waterfall sounds can help mask the tinnitus.

Here is a link to a frequency that masks my tinnitus,

but if I listen to it for long and pose it, my tinnitus feels like it gets louder, even if I’m listening in very low volume

Leo, you have changed my life. Thank you, really. I wish you good luck with your research and your work. I’m always here for you if you have any more questions or need anything.

If you go into a forest for a few days, it should naturally settle. What I get from tinnitus is that it may be related to electro-sensitivity in most cases, and some cases energetic disturbances from over-use of substances or stimulation, thus why grounding/earthing may help a lot.

As above so below, as within so without.

I remember watching that video.

He is an atheist with a strong anti-psychedelics position, but he thinks you're interesting basically. I remember a stream of his where he was talking about you. He wanted to interview you.
