🌲 You can rarely pretend to give an effective advice to someone just from the fact that you cannot see the unique inner logic behind his actions, no matter how obvious you will mistakenly think the answer is. If you really want to help and not to harm, encourage him to trust more his own logic.

@Nivsch Why don't you go out and fight on the battlefield like a real man?

How do these Israelis even function in society. Like if you want to have a family your wife must know your a pussy because you don't fight your own battles but instead CRY for others to help you. When you have a newborn is it like automatically a victim? Or do you wait until a couple years before calling it a victim? How does that part work. Do you tell the children the real reason why they will grow up to be hated? Like how does it all work

@Twentyfirst What do you think about your family/child/wife?

What people in Italy think about their family?

Quite similarly here too.

You grasp Israelis in a very stereotipical way. I did my mandatory service in IDF in a non-combatant role.

So everyone's stereotypical judgments about Israelis are wrong? Everyone that has something to criticize simply "doesn't know what it's truly like to be Israeli". The entire world sees you as something and you people are the only ones who see yourselves as something else. Who is wrong and who is right?

@Twentyfirst The picture from far away will always look more simplistic and narratived, but this isn't the truth of the high resolution private life you see when you live with an Israeli (or an Italian, or a Spanish) and you see the person himself and his individual world.

You live on stolen land and the only way to remain living there is by killing innocent children.

Jews were here the majority for centuries and then became a minority for more centuries. We can also claim that we came back to the land other people has "stolen" from us. This is what happen on any land on earth throughout history and the way almost every country has been established.

There are European Jews and Palestinian Jews. Which one are you?

Then why cry victim after Oct 7th if it's all just fair play?

So if some random huge military country swoops in and takes all of the 78% Israeli part of Palestine and the settlements in the West Bank then that too is justified?

This isn't what happened. Jews and Arabs actions escalated together from 1920s until the peak in 1947.

But anyway if Israelis cease to be strong enough to defend their country so yes, this is how the middle east works. And Europe too by the way, just that European countries are protected by NATO alliance.

UN permitted the Jews the state of Israel in 1947.

You are right the international laws are important to prevent injustices in the future but in reality the only way to ensure that is to know how to defend yourself. Eventually you can only fully trust yourself.

So if the UN gave Israel a state then why did Israel take more land than what was given?

You can't trust yourself. A true peaceful person would not put themselves in a dangerous position. You are in the most dangerous position in the world.

Everything is somehow dangerous.

Would you agree to be given a land from strangers in any random place they will decide for you or that you would want a land in where YOU want and feel connected to?

About the taking more land I agree with you that the right wing policy to ever expand the settlement is bad.
