They are fighting for their survival from thousands of years of oppression and the Holocaust. The only issue is they are fighting the wrong enemy.

Historically the Arabs haven’t oppressed the Jews and actually welcomed them. The West has always blamed the Jews for their own violence and corrupt systems and still do until this day.

Instead of taking German land and destroying them they decided to do it in Palestine for some strange reason (religion is just a colonizing mask). The irony is they use Western help to do it. Remember after the Holocaust the Jews had nothing so without Western help they wouldn’t have been able to conquer anything.

The West hates the Jews so much that they are willing to help and give aid money just to send them to a far away place and keep them there. The West needs Zionism in the Middle East out of their hatred for Jews. They also want to destabilize the Middle East to steal resources because Europe has never been resource rich and is quite harsh to live in.

The Jews are so identified with their body and mind for survival that they fall for kindergarten tricks. They also adopted superiority and brutality from learning from the West. The Jews are a small population so they always survive by licking the butthole of some grander power in this case the USA. This is why they came up with the term Judeo Christian values even though the two have no place being with each other.

Religiously speaking Islam actually validates Jesus when Judaism rejects him. Islam is simply the completion of the Abrahamic religions. The three religions are only differentiated by the false prophet/son of god or messiah/prophet of Jesus of Nazareth. The three religions are never allowed to agree on the true place of Jesus. Palestine has three names depending on what religion you are because Palestine was always home to all three religions.

Imagine if Leo stole your money and then you came to me for help and I reimburse you. Now imagine the next day you and Leo come and take my money. I would have no choice but to be shocked and eventually defend myself through animalistic means. Both sides have extreme factions like Israel being the government and army. And the Arabs having non official groups that sprung out like Isis and all those similar groups. Hamas isn’t really official even though Gazans voted for them out of desperation.

If you can seperate the Israelis into two groups. Jews from European origin and Jews from Middle Eastern origin then that is the only way you can really understand all this. The Jews from Europe are traumatized and atheistic. The Jews that were scattered across the Middle East were all taken and absorbed by into Israel by Zionism to increase their numbers. Without this critical differential of the two groups of Israelis you will get lost in all the propaganda and emotion.

Sometimes your ancestors help you and sometimes they hurt you. In this case the ancestors of the Israelis did so much wrong in the past that their lineage is hated today. And the only way their lineage can see a way out is by doubling down.

Zionism is needed because the Jews need a safe homeland away from the Americans and Europeans. The only issue was the whole theft, ethnic cleanisng, apartheid, genocide, lying, and complete disregard for human rights thingy. It’s actually not that complicated. Thinking it is complicated is actually propaganda designed to keep the situation on going and hopeless.

The only way this can end is how it started. Jews assimilating to the Middle East (don’t bring the Western values there), accepting minority position in Palestine (they will always be outnumbered), and accept friendship from the Arabs rather than the West (obvious). Because of the West Bank settlements it will have to be a one state solution. Which is how it was successfully done for a thousand years. Even today it’s technically a one state.

I know people think that both sides are biased which is actually completely unfair. Who knows more about this situation than the people who have lived it, grew up with it, their entire family for a hundred years know all the details, etc etc. How could an outsider analyze it better? What the hell do they know anyway? What if that uninvolved outsider grew up in the same culture that caused this? Does he know more than the involved people that grew up in the culture that received it? Just by simple psychology and projection a rule of colonization should be that the oppressed know the oppressor more than the oppressor knows itself.

@Twentyfirst Nicely put.

First 2 minutes of this:

From Mearsheimers substack Titled ''The Moral Bankruptcy of the West''

- On 19 December 2024, Human Rights Watch issued a 179-page report detailing Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

- On 5 December 2024, Amnesty International issued a 296-page report detailing Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

- On 21 November 2024, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for crimes against humanity and war crimes.

- On 26 January 2024, the International Court of Justice found that a plausible case can be made that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

Given the West’s presumed commitment to human rights and especially to preventing genocide, one would have expected countries like the United States, Britain, and Germany, to have stopped the Israeli genocide in its tracks.

Instead, the governments in those three countries, especially the United States, have supported Israel’s unimaginable behavior in Gaza at every turn. Indeed, those three countries are complicit in this genocide.

Moreover, almost all of the many human rights advocates in those countries, and in the West more generally, have stayed silent while Israel executed its genocide. The mainstream media has made hardly any effort to expose and challenge what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. Indeed some key outlets have staunchly supported Israel’s actions.

One wonders what people in the West who have either supported Israel’s genocide or remained silent tell themselves to justify their behavior and sleep at night.''

-----------------

If Iraq took the clothes off the empire, Gaza took the mask off it - rendering it naked for the world to see.  Preachers of virtue, whilst being practitioners of violence.  I will go mask off on the West, scorched earth - not as a hater, but a lover of what we claim to be but aren't in practice, or at least what our state isn't in practice. I love what the West says about itself, but hate the fact its not lived. Western imperial alchemy is turning blood into brunch spots that serve oat milk lattes and calling it progress, it’s paving and building skyscrapers over the bones of the global South which they refer to as collateral damage, and calling it development.

The deepest and darkest irony of all this is this:  The land that inspired so much of the West's humanity now reflects the death of it. Pagan Europe was originally a world shaped by brutal dominance and survival, deeply influenced by the harsh, resource scarce environments of the continent. Those conditions necessitated a focus on strength, conquest, and hierarchy - qualities adapted for survival in such a climate.

Christianity came with its radical ethos of compassion, humility and elevation of the meek - as a counterpoint to the Pagan ethos. It introduced a different set of a principles to a world where power was the primary principle.  It served as a soothing balm over Europe’s cold harsh reality and over centuries infused and reshaped European culture, transitioning it from a dominance driven worldview to one more attuned to the ideals of human dignity. The transformation was so profound that these values became the cultural backdrop of Europe and later the West.

The same environmental pressures that shaped Europe’s early ethos of survival also bred its imperial mindset. Scarcity, competition for resources, and the desire to secure abundance drove Europe’s conquest focused expansion into warmer, resource rich regions. Paradoxically, the same ethos of compassion introduced by Christianity was often co-opted to justify those imperial endeavors, cloaking domination in moral language - which still goes on till today in as a battle of impulses within the Western psyche.

Today, the birthplace (Palestine) of that ethos now serves as a mirror reflecting the West’s failure to live up to the values they claim to embody. We can't just look at things, but need to look through them. Like someone said, stare into the abyss long enough, and the abyss stares back. Well, stare into Gaza long enough, and it reflects the deep civilizational conflict at the heart of the West’s identity - which is a tension between the ideals it claims and the actions it takes.

@zazen The West failed in its values because they never had them in the first place. Nobody can show where they ACTUALLY exhibited anything but savage violence

MAGA is just a return to 50 years ago. But if you return now then in 50 more years you will just wind up in the same place because the West only goes in one direction on one train tracks

The only hope for the West is to humbly learn from the older sibling it pretends not to rely on which is the East. There is no Western solution for the West that will come out of the West because it’s simply too sick

The civilians need to realize that their government is not their friend, that they are victims of the same violence that is spread around the world, and they need to come to the East asking for forgiveness and guidance

It's purely a matter of ideology. They have brainwashed themselves to believe that that land belongs to them. It's religious dogma. They feel entitled to kill anyone on that land to "liberate" it.

This is true that many have this bias that the land belongs more to them at the end of the day.
