Of course there's not gonna be a cease-fire.

The whole point of this new war that Netanyahu created is to divide the American left to help Trump win the election.

Netanyahu needs Trump to help him do more war.

Peter Beinart made similar comments a while back, but he’s asking why Biden is enabling it

Because Biden is a normie who just follows Washington group-think. He doesn't think original thoughts.

To untangle the Palestinian situation requires thinking original thoughts.

The extreme right wingers in the Israeli government are also still threatening Bibi to take away his power as Prime Minister by dissolving his coalition if he doesn’t do what they want.

He probably wants Trump to win, but there’s no clear evidence of that.

Besides, even if Harris becomes president she will still have the policy on funding and arming Israel because of the lobbying. She might be a bit more diplomatic than Trump would be in some way. Though who knows exactly.

Maybe solving the entire problem, but this is pretty obvious, just say do what the US wants or no more aid. Even Reagan did this.

He obviously wants Trump to win, and more than that he will do everything he can to manipulate the election for Trump.

To say that would require an understanding the Palestinian side.

Nothing is obvious to a Zionist.

Was reading some Zižek today and he had this fascinating idea from way back in 2007. This is part of a larger point he was making but stands alone quite nicely too. Something like this could be crazy enough to work

It doesn’t though, I saw zionists saying it as well. The US negotiated the deal so clearly they think it is a good idea. Most democrats said they want aid conditioned for Israel. Biden has nothing to fear with the lobby because he’s not running again.

This makes no rational sense. The only explanation I can think of is they have something on him.

Lol.

Zizek might as well ask them to shoot themselves in the head.

A truly radical act, where nothing is lost.

It makes perfect sense. The US cannot admit to itself that it is the cause of Arab terrorism.

they keep believing that all the land belongs to them and that they shouldn't compromise with thieves.

But it’s true. Palestine was majority Arab all across until the late 1940s, and when Israel was created, they forcibly removed hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from what is today Israel into Gaza. Many of these people still hold the keys to the homes they were kicked out of.

If somebody enters your home, kicks you out and locks the door on you, what would you call them? Would you compromise with them by keeping two rooms while they have the rest?

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

I don't blame them for feeling outraged.

But then again, when your thief has nuclear weapons and F-35 jets, you might wanna consider a compromise, for your own sake.

Don't start a war you have no way of winning.

Israel has the leverage in the western politics and western media. I don’t think talking mouths are going to have a real influence on the conflict. It is only matter of time that Arabs will be fully pushed out like they have been for decades. And that will be the end of it. Saying Zionists don’t understand Palestinians is like saying why doesn’t the white pieces not want to understand the black pieces on the chess board.

But I am just talking about a ceasefire, all the US has to do is tell Israel no weapons unless you accept the ceasefire proposal. That has nothing to do with acknowledging any Palestinian or Arab sovereignty. Even if it’s just for a few months to avoid a escalation helping Trump win.

That would require a level of objectivity which the US deep state does not have.

So, with what's going on in the middle east and the growing threat of getting into a real war with Russia and China is WWIII becoming a more plausible scenario in the future?

Or is the world too civilized and developed for that to happen?

With Russia focused on Ukraine , China is opting to stay out of the situation, which is strategically beneficial for them as the United States finds itself once again entangled in the Middle East. Iran, under its new president, is also likely to avoid direct involvement. This leaves Netanyahu as the central player in the region, with the freedom to act as he chooses. If you were in his shoes, how would you navigate this scenario?

With advanced aircraft and unlimited support from the United States, Netanyahu is fighting primarily against militias with basic weaponry, making him the most powerful figure in the region. He is capable of handling internal pressure, hailed as a hero in Israel and revered in America, as we seen  in Congress.

While a Trump win would be more favorable for him, he's ready to work with Kamala Harris if she becomes president. and The next Israeli prime minister is likely to carry on the path Netanyahu has set, and the idea that his far-right government controls him is simply unfounded.

Like Ben-Gurion and Shimon Peres, he will go down in history as one of the greatest figures in Israel’s history.
