Les hope for the best! But what does this actually say about the Biden admin - why is a ceasefire coming now that Trump is coming in? Is it just coincidental timing or illustrative of weak leadership or will on Biden and co’s part..

Did Israel even achieve their proposed objective of degrading Hamas..according to Blinken Hamas are still active and replenished with new resistance fighters - because Israel’s actions call for nothing else but resistance.

Ukraine, Israel - even US’s actions towards China is backfiring with their TikTok ban. Western hegemony is on the ropes and groggy, and their image utterly tarnished.

Quote

Mediator Qatar says that Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement to halt the 15-month war in Gaza and exchange Israeli captives for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons.

Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani announced the agreement in Doha on Wednesday. He said the ceasefire would take effect on Sunday, January 19.

...

The agreement will be implemented over three stages, Sheikh Mohammed said. In an initial six-week phase, Israeli forces would gradually withdraw from central Gaza and Palestinians would be allowed to return to their homes in northern Gaza.

Hamas would release 33 Israeli captives over those six weeks, including all female soldiers and civilians, children and the elderly, he said.

Talks on the second phase would begin by the 16th day of the first phase, and are expected to include the release of the remaining captives and the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the Reuters news agency reported, citing an official briefed on the negotiations.

A third phase was expected to include the return of dead bodies and the start of reconstruction in Gaza, Reuters reported.

The USA will continue Western hegemony by controlling all over North America (Canada, Greenland) and by going to war with their European friends!

Former Head of IDF and Minister of Defense: The war should have ended a year ago in January 24 after continuing the former hostage deal in November 23 and releasing all of them.

🌻 Thinking independently about the spiral stages themselves is important for going through them in an organic, efficient way. If you stick to an external idea about how a stage should be you lose touch with its real self customized process trying to happen inside you.

Your perspective is certainly bold, but it’s completely disconnected from the values and reality that I, and many other Canadians, hold dear. Canada isn’t some pawn for the U.S. to ‘control’ in their quest for hegemony. We’re an independent, strong, and globally respected nation with no interest in being absorbed into someone else’s imperialistic ambitions.

The idea of the U.S. going to war with their European allies or ‘taking over’ Canada and Greenland is not only absurd but also ignores the deep cultural, political, and economic ties that exist between these countries. Canada, for instance, thrives on partnerships, diplomacy, and mutual respect—values that make us who we are. The notion of hegemony by brute force flies in the face of everything we stand for.

If anything, comments like these are a reminder of why Canadians hold onto their independence so fiercely. We’re not here to be bullied or controlled, and any such attempt would only strengthen our resolve to stand up for our values: peace, cooperation, and sovereignty. The world doesn’t need more dominance—it needs more collaboration, and that’s what Canada is all about!

For all the Canadian readers out there: Canada is a country built on peace, tolerance, and respect, and I feel it’s important to address something that goes against those values. I fully support the independence of both Palestine and Israel—two free and independent nations coexisting peacefully. However, acts of vandalism like the one shown in this video have no place in our country.

This kind of behaviour doesn’t contribute to justice, peace, or progress. Instead, it undermines our shared values and divides communities. For Canadians, it’s vital that we stand for constructive dialogue and peaceful expression, not senseless destruction.

Let’s focus on supporting meaningful solutions and respectful conversations. Canada is a place for understanding and coexistence—not for actions that fuel hate and conflict. We’re better than this.

Then you have the much larger segment of the religious right who are not flaming racists, but they are still softly racist, ethnocentric, white-loving, Bible-thumping, nationalist, xenophobic, and ideologically brainwashed. This is who runs the Republican party.

You do realize Jews arent  considered white  but their own ethnic group right? And if you want to purely use appearance half of Israel are people which were deported from Arab countries following the Nakba and fled to Israel. Ben Gvir heritage is 1 example.

Or you can say that Israelis are actually just White Europeans that have nothing to do with the historical homeland they call Israel.

Many Israeli haters seem to believe that narrative.

That the people in Israel which came from Europe are basically Europeans now and no longer have ethnic roots from the region they call Israel

Bible-thumping

Can you explain to me how come Christians have persecuted Jews far far more historically than Muslims have?

You make it seem like Christianity and Judaism are somewhat brothers but history says otherwise.

Judaism has as much in common with Christianity as Islam has.

The only reason so many American hardcore Christians love Israel is because of Zionism brainwashing that makes them believe that Judaism is an extension of Christianity.

Im more sure of the Europe thing than anything that happens with Canada. All that USA partnership with Europe idea will get thrown out the window. By war I mean economic not necessarily physical but it could be. Just not allies anymore

I hope for the best and am rooting for whoever remains the most peaceful not for anyone who wants to bully
