Come on people here are aspiring to be like US and want to live in the US.

Does it take that much time for a US citizen to buy a house is your economy which is the first in the world that bad?

Yes..it takes decades to save for a 20k down payment on a house with a normal job.

Yup.

But in the US you can probably get high paying jobs in tech and such and then probably easily buy a house. While many people in LA and NY with normal or lower end jobs live in shared flats and rooms in their 30s and 40s

You'd be surprised to know that I'm not that much of a westernised Iranian as other Iranians are.

But yes I know lots of the older generations are not.

And there are also a lot of younger generations who are not westernised as well.

So there are two groups in Iran but I was talking about the most of the people specially the younger generations they are mostly westernised.

It's crazy that a regular job is not enough even there to live just a simple life with a house and a roof over your head.

In the US you can fly higher and fall lower than in Europe i think. If you’re smart and or lucky you’ll be rich as fucc in the US baby 🤑 If you’re unlucky it’ll be a nightmare. Western Europe is more in the middle less highs and lows, more checks and balances

You need to come to Scandinavia, they will take care of you! You don’t need a job, the government will provide you with enough money for an apartment, food, and clothing.
