Netanyahu has gone Beast Mode.

Yet, he's causing serious damage to his country's economy and he's not going to win this war in the end.

It's clear at that point that he never really cared about the people of Israel.

So much for being a reasonable right-winger. He has finally lost it.

If he did, then he would've accepted a ceasefire proposal a while ago to save many of the Israeli hostages and to truly ensure security of his country even if it costed him his career as a prime minister and then had to go to trial for his corruption charges.

He could've gone down in history as a true hero for his country if he truly did the right thing for Israel.

Why do you assume that your view of security is correct?

Quite the bold assumption for someone who has no experience in security.

Hezbollah leader might be dead. I hope he is. Hezbolah destroyed so many Syrian cities and commited massacres in Syria.

No it isn’t. It’s doing this to defend a apartheid and ethnic cleansing operation on millions of people in Palestine by mass murdering Lebanese civilians with the Dahiya doctrine.

Israel itself funneled weapons to rebels and terrorists in Syria who killed thousands of civilians and caused Iran and Hezbollah to intervene and expand the war because they wanted to weaken Assad which resulted in hundreds of thousands of more civilian deaths in Syria.

Of course, I have no experience or real expertise in national security.

However, the top experts on this matter know that what he's doing is clearly a mistake for his country. I also think that Netanyahu knows that he's now going way too far with this, but he's too proud and too selfish to admit it.

He also is too frightened to stand up to the radical right-wingers in his coalition, particularly Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, who have been threatening to leave and dissolve his coalition to remove him from power if he doesn't continue the fight in this war.

Furthermore, we already know how much right-wingers like him have been blinded by their ethnocentrism.

Look, I thought Bibi had a point about the need to go to war with Hamas by conventional warfare for a while, but this has now gone on for far too long and is getting too insane and too dangerous not just for Israel, but possibly for the entire Middle East.

Even you've been pretty much saying that this war could eventually very well backfire on Israel. As a matter of fact, Israel's economy has already gotten so bad, that many people in the country are already suffering from it. Tens of thousands business in Israel have already closed over the last year, luxury hotels and tourism industry have been losing a lot revenue, and many reservists in the IDF have been struggling financially through no fault of their own. The Israeli GDP was projected to grow 3% in 2024 according to experts, but now the Bank of Israel predicts a growth rate of 1.5% — and that’s if the war ends this year (which is very unlikely to happen).

With no end in sight, this really is going to be another forever war that in the end will probably be all for nothing.

Bullshit! I’m Syrian and I know what happened in my own country. Iran funneled the weapons and militia and killed thousands of Syrians. The rebels refused to work with Israel.

Iran, Hezbolah and Assad terrorized millions of Syrians and destroyed many Syrian cities. Don’t spread misinformation please

@Raze and Assad was already weak in 2012-2013. He begged for Hezbolah to save him from the Syrian people who wanted to end his dictatorship. The terrorists in Syria  were the Iranian milita that Assad allowed in and committed massacres to the Syrian people so Assad can blame it on “Islamists”.  Assad is the reason my country is destroyed. He allowed it to become a shitshow so he can stay in power.

How does that conflict with what I said?

Right, but it became a huge civil war because the US and Israel funneled weapons to the rebels and as you said he got Russia and Iran to intervene to save himself.

@Raze I’ll read the articles but from what I know is that Israel wanted Assad to stay in power because why would Israel not want a weak country next to it? Assad is a weak president and Israel would prefer for him to stay. Israel doesn’t care about peace in Syria. And  about the rebels I’m not sure, When you have Russia, the US, Assad and Iran against you, what options do you have? From my knowledge the rebels had the chance to cooperate with Israel and refused so that it doesn’t count against them but I’ll read the articles.
what happened in Syria initially was a revolution against tyranny. Assad needed to go because he made the country so much worse.

Assad was working with Iran and Russia, if Israel wanted him to stay the US would not have funded rebels.

Yes, the rebels were taking help from anywhere, but in the end that hurt them as they got rained with religious extremism.

The US was conflicted on whether or not they wanted Assad to stay. The rebels were not united and had flaws I’ll give you that but the main terrorist of Syria has always been and will always be the Assad family. He did the unimanagible to the Syrian people is all I’m going to say,

peace out ✌️

The US wanted Assad to go, but when the rebels weren’t enough to do it they weren’t willing to invade.

I never denied Assad did the most terrorism and war crimes to stay in power.
