Smotrich is a settler in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, living in the settlement of Kedumim, which is illegal under international law. His residence was also built illegally outside the settlement proper.[4]

Smotrich's statements, often dubbed "racist" and "homophobic," have led to several controversies.[5] He is a supporter of expanding Israeli settlements in the West Bank, opposes Palestinian statehood, and denies the existence of the Palestinian people.[5] As minister with powers in the occupied Palestinian territories, he has spoken of clandestine Israeli efforts to practically annex territories in the West Bank, first as a fait accompli, then by force of law

Me learning about Israeli politics everyday.

🌻 Thinking independently about the spiral stages themselves is important for going through them in an organic, efficient way. If you stick to an external idea about how a stage should be you lose touch with its real self customized process trying to happen inside you.

Added Context:

Majdal shams is illegally occupied part of Syria, currently administered by Israel.

If you illegally occupy places, there will be consequences for it. Sad that these children had to be the victim of those attacks. The adults who engaged in the illegal occupation should take more responsibility and stop the occupation.

These bombings are a resistance to the illegal occupation of Israel.

This is just the context. Not my opinion. This doesn't justify the bombings. But occupying other territories will be met with resistance.

@Bobby_2021

1. The Galil (hasnt occupid in any war) and the Golan are under attack from Hezbollah in the exact same way.

2. The kibbutzes near Gaza hasn't occupied.

3. Hezbollah is in Lebanon and the occupied area is from Syria.

4. Asad killed hunderd of thousands of his citizens so he has no problem to kill anyone who treaten him, similar to hamas who act cruely to his own people just as to Israelis.

5. Five Arab countries has attacked Israel in 1948 so, in their eyes, the existance of Israel is an occupation by itself.

Bombing and killing kids in their playground doesn’t need added context.
You lost your humanity. Only God can save your soul.

Since October Israel has killed over 13 thousand children in Gaza and over 100 in the West Bank, and you support the bombardment and occupation, so by that logic you also lost your soul.

It’s sad. Very sad. 😔🥲

I believe that even if we get an agreement with Hamas. Unfortunately the conflict will never end.

I have to admit this a bit hurted. Nothing personal of course about @Bobby_2021 he seems to me as a good person, but the twisting of the fault always back to the attacked one is something which is rooted in a paradigm according to which the west is always the abuser and every action of the Arab world is a legitimate response. This highly problematic paradigm overlook the cruelty those Arab regimes and terror groups tend to act upon in the exact same way to their own people too on a daily basis.

I always said it’s sad and heartbreaking. I never tried to justify killing kids or explaining why it has happened. We both can agree to disagree and this is why this war is happening.

And what about your paradigm? To hezbollah they see Israel killing Gazans by the hundreds and believe if they strike Israel they can pressure them into a ceasefire to stop the massacre. If it works they would have saved thousands of lives.

And in the other hand Hezbollah kidnapped 3 Israeli soldiers in 2000 just after peace negotiations in Camp David.

And what about when hamas started a terrible series of suicide bombing inside Tel Aviv just after Oslo Agreement and BECAUSE of it! To fail it.

Obviously it doesn’t. Killing kids never brought peace in all history.

Doctors across Gaza have described operating on patients without anaesthetic, turning people with chronic conditions away, and treating rotting wounds with limited medical supplies.

"Because of the shortage of painkillers we leave patients to scream for hours and hours," one told the BBC.

Quote

"We're missing anaesthetics, supplies for the ICU, antibiotics and lastly painkillers," said Dr al-Akkad. "There are a lot of people who were severely burnt… we don't have any suitable painkillers for them."

One doctor confirmed that operations were going ahead without anaesthetic.

A WHO team said they recently met a seven-year-old girl at the European Gaza hospital who was suffering from 75% burns, but unable to receive pain relief because of short supplies.

Dr Mohamed Salha, acting director of northern Gaza's Al-Awda hospital, said people had been transported for treatment there on donkeys and horses.

"The catastrophe is when the patients' wounds are rotting, as the wounds have been open for more than two or three weeks," he said.

Yuval Green, an Israeli reservist who was called up to fight in southern Gaza, decided to leave the Israel Defense Forces when his unit was ordered to burn down a Palestinian house, claiming he was not given valid reasoning from his commander, according to an interview with ABC News.

"They gave us an order to burn down a house. I went to my commander and asked him, 'Why are we doing that?'" Green said in an interview with ABC News last week. "The answers he gave me were just not satisfying enough, they were not even close to being satisfying enough. And I said, 'I'm not willing to participate in that. If we're doing that, I'm leaving.'"

Quote

Green said the IDF is going inside Palestinian houses and utilizing them for military purposes and that soldiers take “souvenirs, vandalize the homes, and destroy things for no reason.”

The Druze are an Arab people, and they also live in Lebanon too. Obviously they weren't the target for that rocket. Extremely tragic. Prayers go out to the families and victims.

@gambler Sorry for correcting on technicality but ethnic wise Druze are not Arabs, they do practice Islam in a bit different fashion. They are excluded communities and do not intermarry.

And by the way to their of you who compare Hitler to anyone, it’s beyond disgusting. Hitler, may his name and memory be obliterated, killed peoples for sport, he directly and literally destroyed people not by accident and not during a war, but took innocent people and burned them in chambers. No human or even devil can be compared to him and comparing is first shows uneducationess and cheapens the Holocaust.

@Heaven don’t feel guilty, it’s unfortunately a product of war, what can we do. We are fighting a war that we did not start, but it was the other side who started and now they have to bear the consequences. And let me tell you something, if there would be any other country, they would totally done differently and not like we would play around. In a week we will approach an anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the USA wanted to end the war and they went on radical steps, and by the way those two towns were not military towns, they were hosting women and children. When you fight a war you fight with people. It’s the people who elect government. Look any war is unfortunate, that’s why people need to think many times prior starting but once they start they need to bear the consequences.

Some Druze may choose to not identity as such, but others do. And yes, they are endogamous.
