Looks like it was made for somewhat @Nivsch and totally for @Vrubel 

   That's true, the propaganda machine in Israel is really strong. It's the world's fault obviously, not the Likud party Zionists in charge that made this whole mess 80 years ago.

Again- preserving survival.   Have you once looked at life from their perspective?  Cut down and destroyed at every turn. Persecuted for their land.  For their very being.  Persecuted for being Jewish. Only until you look thought their eyes can you make sound judgemenr.

Gallant also said no Palestinian state will exist and US won’t do anything about it. The only 3 options out of the situation seems to be to give Palestinians a state, have a permanent militarily occupation with continuous death and conflict or ethnically cleanse Palestinians.
 

The world obviously is opting for option 1 against Israel’s wishes as the others are clearly worse. US just talks of a Palestinian state but never acts upon recognising one.

@zazen Gallant is moderate right wing, and he needed to convince Likud members to not establish military rule in Gaza, so in return he had to talk to their heart.

He was in the near past in a center-moderate right party which was for two state solution. If you want I can send you their principles.

Maybe today he is really against a palestinian state, but so little while after oct 7th this won't be a big surprise.

If someone that called Palestinians human animals, ordered water, electricity and fuel denied to 2.2 million people (close to 1 million kids) and has an arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes agaisnt humanity on his way, if a person like this gets labeled "moderate right wing" in Israel, then I do not want to imagine what a radical right wing person would be.

The Israeli leadership is actually the one group who actually can change the direction of what's happening. Will they be able to overcome Bibi's influence? I don't know. But let's not discount the importance of internal politics. Even western leftist outlets highlight the importance of "Bibi's coalition in shambles."

Netanyahu is known as a war-time leader and given the benefit of the doubt to keep Israel and it's interests secure. Which is why this conflict has benefitted him despite almost being criminally charged within Israel before it. With the war progressing as it has, his internal support is becoming thinner by the day.

Yes, point is to say that the relative value of this news in terms of actually being able to change the trajectory of what's happening is much greater than most of the news here which mostly comprises of external media figureheads bashing Israel over and over with different words.

It was simple from the start. Have a ceasefire. Release the hostages. Bibi wont even allow that. 

Israel is out of control. The world is reacting, which it should be, because this is horrific and breaks International law. 

If news media from around the world upsets you, dont post on this thread. It’s really just for news posts and videos. Comment other places.
