Perhaps. But there are examples of beings who lived their life in service. And Jesus wasn't the only example. In this day and age there are enlightened beings who are living in that way aswell

I meant in a tacit way that egoistic/altruistic dichotomy is an illusion.

You want help people because it makes you happy for some reason, it's your wiring. Can you say it's "not good" if someone is programmed to only care about themselves?

Edit : Some yogi live in service because they think it brings them closer to enlightenment/doesn’t feed their ego. I do not know if it's clear.
Sadghuru still likes to drive a tesla lol.

Perhaps that is the wisest thing one could do

If it's wise to do, then do it sustainably.

Is it really hard for you the believe that even an awakened yogi can lose balance and engage in unhealthy activity?

If you think that can't happen, you're really kidding yourself.

Sometimes a yogi is just a stubborn workaholic. Don't overthink it.

Oh that old phylosophical game... Yea I know. Service is the most Devine selfishness there is. Because you serve the yourself which is the whole LIFE. Indeed selfish.

I agree here. And perhaps he is doing it sustainably. We don't know what caused the brain bleeding. Perhaps he was doing all things good and well and something just happened.

Perhaps. But I know he has workaholic tendencies. This incident is not the only data I'm looking at. Sadhguru loves to boast about the long hours he and everyone around him works. Frankly it's strange to work so much. The whole point of spirituality is to slow down and smell the roses, not fly around the world like a bat out of hell. It's like Sadhguru is running a spiritual factory. And that's not a compliment.

Sadhguru is a workoholic. I saw an interview where he says not to stop working even when sick. He gave examples of him pushing through and working despite extreme fever.

It's a game that you imagine. In my world there is the mirror effect, but helping my mirrors doesn't change much.
I have another game.

Mmm... If your definition of a workaholic is someone who is relentless in his pursuit of helping others. Then... Why such a negative connotation? It should be a positive thing.

If you had a child, would you want it to work itself into a hospital bed?

I'm done reasoning with you.

No I wouldn't. But again... No one knows what caused the bleeding. You're jumping to conclusions too fast that it was the overworking.

What happened to Sadhguru really resonates with me given that my dad also happened to fall victim to overworking himself and got seriously injured a few weeks ago.  Reality has remarkably intelligent ways of slowing us down; I have much more love and respect for this intelligence even more!

Reminds me of Michael Jordan

I know it's unrelated, but btw do your parents know about your cross-dressing/transgenderism ?

No judgment, just a little flash of curiosity.
