Islamic fast healthy or no?

5 posts in this topic

My grand mother is Islamic and I want to fast with her couple of times. I like not having to eat. What I don't like is not being allowed to drink. My body just screams to drink water. And it seems very unhealthy when it is warm. I just want to join her but with the exception of me allowing to drink but she won't allow it. Traditional religions have such rigid rules.

Water fasting is great for health. Dry fasting I only did for two days, and I feel like it's healthy buy I am not so sure, and you really have to be careful. So I would go for like 3-5 days water fast in your place.

Water fast has been done for millenia. In fact, millions of people of all ages and conditions are doing it right now.

Take care of your health and be always loving to your body and mind. However, don't fear to push yourself either, get a bit out of your comfort zone. Even your grandmother is doing it and you are scared lol

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Just don't do strenuous work while fasting and you'll be fine.
