  1. I don't believe any of your definitions except for Undefinable. You can just ignore the hyperbolic stuff and pretend it's the same thing, as something obviously wreaking of humanness like Love. "But Crocodile, Love is impersonal, nonhuman, hyperbolic blah blah blah blah blah blah..."---no! You can't get around that all of these are way too limited points of view. I'll say this: if reincarnation and common implications of it is real, everything is all good. If not then there is no excuse whatsoever to not be a sorcerer, to shift consciousness out of the human into visible and tangible realms which are nonlinear, complex, and nonhuman in order to preserve your awareness after death. Either way, humans and the earth should take on a form of perfect Beauty through genetic engineering, long-term nature, or paranormal means. Humans should be made more intelligent, even more open-minded and more benevolent and more versed into these impersonal, nonhuman, hyperbolic realms so we can explore Beauty and complexity of time, space, meaning, pleasure, understanding, etc. forever as immortals both liberated from reality and enjoying reality.
  2. That's Infinity. It's impersonal. When we say God is selfless, we really mean it. It's a level of selfless unfathomable to a human being.
  3. WHAT IS TRUTH: Truth is what's happening. It's that simple. The complicated version is that it's not happening to you, through you, by you or for you because you, the person/human you think you are doesn't exist. The body does, but there's no one inside these bodies doing anything at will. Life is happening all on it's own and it's impersonal. You can test this for yourself. Notice how you plan things and they don't go as plan. If they do, it's because it's life doing it anyway. Notice how you're addicted to things and cannot stop. It's not up to you because there's no you doing it. Notice how you've been worrying about things all your life and life just keeps on going. Doesn't matter if you got your way or not, tomorrow still comes, next year still comes, a decade goes by and you're still trucking on; worries or not. Notice how you want things to go a certain way but it doesn't all the time. Why can't you always get your way. Why not. Whatever answer you give here will just be a story. All Stories. Reasonings. Excuses. Notice how unpredictable life is. When you move your hand, that's energy. Speak, walk, run, dance, any movement, that's energy. It's raw, it's direct. Neither dead nor alive. It's not polarized. It just is. There's nothing alive or dead. Things just are. A beating heart doesn't mean aliveness. It just means a heart that beats. A dead person and an alive person are the same. One is seemingly dead and the other seems to be alive. Both just are. It's not that energy is alive and energy is dead. Both are energy. Just energy. A dead person still rots. It's never still. It's simply another appearance. It's all appearances. What is, is. That's truth. There's no arriving at Truth. Truth is all there is. If a person tells a lie. That's truth. Solipsism just means there's only ONE. No separation. It's all one movement. There's no "he's me and I'm him because neither exists independently of each other. There's no one asleep and no one awake. All your awakenings are just experiences. It's all empty. Void. Means nothing. Yes, it means everything to the individual dreamer but that's about it. It's still what's happening. Everything that appears is empty, Void of any substance or meaning. It's all stories. There's no God forgetting and remembering. Wait..,yes, the Absolute does appear as forgetting and remembering, but it's just an appearance. The Absolute can appear as anything. The Absolute is God, if you prefer. Same thing. I like the Absolute. Oh my fucking God. There's no God and then there's an appearance. It's God appearing. One. Direct. Why do you think everyone "dies". No man makes it out alive because there's no one to make it out alive because there's no one. Isn't this obvious. You will always be fearful and suffer, so don't even try it. There's no one there to stop that or to say I'll never suffer again. Fear happens and suffering happens. There's no one to say anything. You don't realize youre not there. Take all your stories away and there is just what's happening. You don't want to realize this so you keep on keeping on. THAT'S FUCKING TRUTH. When I say you, i mean the Absolute. It seems to appear as an opening that doesn't recognizes itself. It's the energy that's doing that. Not "you". Whom am I speaking to, no one. It's so fucking obvious. Pay fucking attention, you Absolute fool you. One trick. Notice how whatever mood you're in, you'll see people in that same mood all over the place. Watch whatever you're going through in life in the moment, you'll start to see replicas of it everywhere. Just start noticing.
  4. You're shifting the goal posts. That isn't what you said in your original post. In your original post, you said that the existence of Veganism is an "insult" to thousands of years of traditions and "throws them away" and that that's specifically why you're not a Vegan. And that is quite a different claim to "We will never have a Vegan world due to the existence of culinary traditions." It was very much a justification for your own choices by framing Veganism as "bad because it's a threat to culture"... and not a neutral impersonal statement of how a "Vegan world won't happen because of culture". --- But to your goal-post-shifted point, I suspect that the realization of a "Vegan world" is one that will happen through technological developments regarding lab-grown meat, dairy, and eggs and not through the universal practice of Veganism. But despite a "Vegan world" not being something that will happen in our lifetimes, one can always choose to reduce harm now by going Vegan and taking a small chip out of the profits of the meat and dairy industry. And one can choose to live in integrity with their values even if it isn't going to solve the whole problem. Most Vegans aren't Vegan because they believe that the whole world will go Vegan and the idea that Veganism is going to solve the whole problem. Instead, they look to neutralize their own participation in a system that they disagree with... and for Vegans who are also animal rights activists, they try to persuade others to do the same. Think of it a bit like this story... "A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement. She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference for that one!"
  5. If we're considering experience in the usual fashion, then that is indirect -- a sensory encounter, or the process of making sense of that. You encounter something -- What is it that you're calling direct? We can know about something, identify it, like "that is a nice yellow shirt." We can know how it relates to us and what charge it has for us, yet I wouldn't call this direct but perhaps personal experience. Do we? Direct access as in direct consciousness. But I think we are starting to speculate too much. Let's keep it real. Seems to be more objective than a mere idea, I don't see why it has to entail a perceiver. It could be like the body functioning -- a function of biological life that occurs rather naturally on its own. A perceiving is pure and impersonal, as Wei Wu Wei said. Not at all. In my experience (), memory is incredibly biased and subjective. It is safe to say that it often is a complete misrepresentation of "what happened." The recording that you talk about sounds like a pipe dream -- we likely didn't even payed much attention to what actually happened. Concept is a much broader notion than a mere idea. It is not. A memory of playing football is not the experience of playing, since we've established that the experience it is referring to isn't happening now. It is a thought. Not aware of something but the fact of awareness itself. Regarding your second sentence, yes, it seems to be that way. It is tricky. It doesn't mean they're the same, though. Cheers!
  6. This is why I don't use this as a prime example when speaking on these matters and it has nothing to do with the topic. My experiences were not one of being on the streets or too impersonal. These would be situations where interactions were just normal interactions just like everyone else. Don't judge what you're unaware of just from what ilve told you because my interactions with men outside of my line of work was way more traumatizing or negative than with the men in my line of work. So my work doesn't have much influence on any negativity towards men that I may have if any.
  7. Uni ..as in universe/whole. Consisting of only Oneness, or everything. Including apparent separation, multiplicity. Sounds better to me, but it’s personal preference. The world arises as both the personal and impersonal, all inclusive. One without a second can be realised, but to label it, is to claim it, which is to divide it into knower and known. And that’s what’s apparently happening all by itself. But don’t take my word for it, just silently realise it. And you do, that’s why we’re here.
  8. I don't think most women find random sex humiliating... just a bit under-stimulating and uninteresting for the level of risk that's involved. Like, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Back in my single days, I've had one-night-stands, and I'm not embarrassed about it. I just didn't find those experiences very interesting or gratifying because the emotional satisfaction was lacking. And I think that's how most women would relate to those kinds of experiences as long as she felt like she made that decision to have sex from a sovereign place and she doesn't subscribe to a value system that assigns a lot of shame to female sexuality or to sexuality in general. But I don't really think very many women create a positive identity narrative based on how many men are giving them attention... regardless of what the value judgment on those men is. My experience has been that, while there can be an identity based in something like beauty and style which relates to male attention in a round-about way, the male attention element isn't easily woven into a positive identity story. And that's because male attention (including but not limited to sex) is just something that women can expect and it's very common to get. Once you get past a certain age (like 13 or 14), you have already detached your identity from male attention because you realize how impersonal and common it is. It's less common that an an adult woman would puff up her identity by thinking "Look at how many men are interested in me." Like on the rare occasion you hear an adult woman bragging about that, it's showing a kind of naiveté about the meaning of male attention that most women learn when they're in their teens.
  9. Physical pain is different. It's felt by the body and can be a result of someone's actions as in a hammer upside the head that you didn't ask for. The body responds to the blow and is felt through sensations. Mental pain, however, is the mind's interpretation of what was said or done. If, for example, someone says something to you that you thought was mean and inconsiderate, it is because you accepted it as true or took it personally. If someone says, 'you're a piece of shit', and you felt hurt by that statement, the person didn't hurt you, you felt hurt. There's a big difference. People cannot make you feel anything, those feelings are generated within the body and it's because of how the mind interpreted the statement that caused that bodily response. One can easily interpret that, or any derogatory statement that was directed towards them, differently. One can say that the person is just having a bad day and ignore it which would then generate a different feeling response. That's just an example and can be extrapolated into any verbal intended insult or statement. Words cannot hurt, it's the interpretation of the words that makes the difference and the relationship one has with the person. If a stranger at the bus stop randomly turned to you and said 'you're a piece of shit', and walked away, you'd think they were insane and laugh at them. Why? Because of the relationship you have with them. None - but impersonal and irrelevant to your own ideas and thoughts about yourself. If you got upset and felt hurt, however, it would be because of your own making and thoughts and ideas about the strangers relationship to you where you might have said that no one should talk to me in that way regardless of who they are. It's all made up and all depends on the relationship you have with yourself. So therefore, no one can mentally hurt you unless you gave it the OK. Your feelings are generated by you, not someone else; so literally you're making yourself feel the hurt. This is not to say you don't feel hurt because of what someone says or does, it's to show that they didn't hurt you, you felt hurt because of the relationship you have with them in the mind. Your mother could have said the same thing, but because in your mind you have a special kind of relationship with your mother so it can feel worse than when a stranger says the same thing. That shows it's not in the words, but the person saying it and how you see yourself and the relationship you have with the person.
  10. Having re-watched @Leo Gura Spiral Dynamics stage Turquoise video I am posting here my notes that I manually took from the video. No AI was used whatsoever. Enjoy! This is the final set of notes for the Spiral Dynamics stages. What is the essence of Turquoise? Holistic Global Collectivist Self-Transcendent Once again the pendulum is swinging. It went from Yellow which was individualistic, and now it's swinging back to the collective ego which puts an emphasis on collectivism. The collectivism in Turquoise differs from the collectivism of Green which was about joining a group and serving the group identity The collectivism of Turquoise consists of manifesting the self for the benefit of existential reality. Not for your Stage Green political party! But for the benefit of existential reality. For life as a whole! The essence of Turquoise is also to experience the wholeness of existence through mind and spirit The world is seen as a single dynamic organism with its own collective mind Everything connects to everything else A lot of boundaries break down There are a lot of ecological alignments for turquoise The universe is alive and intelligent. It’s not a dumb stone cold clockwork machine Turquoise is interested in building a human community based on mystical wisdom. Cooperative action for elevating the consciousness of mankind Turquoise is a synthesis of the left and the right brain. East and West. Science and religion. Mind body spirit and heart. Turquoise takes a very big picture of what life is about. It is not about the individual of becoming rich or successful, it is not about fighting for some political cause! It is about getting all of mankind to awaken to the magnificence of existence You won't find Turquoise in government, in politics, in education, in business, in the media etc Most people have never meet a turquoise human being People at Turquoise usually become gurus, sages, teachers, leaders, visionaries, healers and clairvoyance. Usually they start their own little communities When does Turquoise emerge? Turquoise emerges with the realization that Yellow has alone, no matter how much it models and understands stuff, It cannot solve the world's problems just its systemic understanding! There needs to be a community effort to work on these systemic problems that Yellow sees and that's when Turquoise emerges Turquoise emerges when Yellow starts to see that consciousness unifies everything and everyone The idea that consciousness is at the heart of every issue that Yellow tries to solve. Yellow must understand that only by changing the state of consciousness of a situation or a group of people there will be positive results. When Yellow starts to really see the limits of thinking and modelling and of reason and logic. When Yellow realizes that all the information that he has gathered so far, all his inquiries, have not led him to the ultimate answers. The ultimate answers have still not been answered at Yellow Turquoise emerges with very serious spiritual practices Turquoise is a flowering of mysticism When boundaries start to dissolve between self, other and the world. Physical boundaries With self-transcendence, with the dissolution of the ego With awareness of Maya, the dream that we are in When Yellow realises that the mind and understanding by itself doesn't bring him happiness. Yellow still suffers, is depressed and wants to transcend suffering, then Yellow starts to find a permanent solution to his unhappiness, so begins his path towards Turquoise Turquoise Values Consciousness Elevating the consciousness of mankind as a whole Truth. Existential Truth, metaphysical Truth Deep metaphysical insights Metaphysics Wisdom and the wisdom of mother earth. The wisdom of nature Mysticism Non duality Spirituality God and divinity Holism Integration and synthesis Integrating all religions and science Left and right brain synthesis Honesty Transparency Radical authenticity Turquoise values being as opposed to knowing, doing and having Simplicity Flowing with nature Minimalist sustainable living Collaborative synergy Human wellness Healing on every dimension ( The physical dimension, the emotional dimension, the spiritual dimension) Exploring altered states of consciousness Intuition Channelling or direct downloads from infinite intelligence Super natural degrees of creativity Spiritual purification Awakening Transcendence Liberation Unconditional love Compassion for all Emotional mastery Presence Mindfulness Paradox Esoteric teachings Gratitude Unity Deeper and deeper levels of interconnectedness Selfless living Sacrificing the self for greater consciousness of the whole Meditation Yoga Contemplation Self-inquiry Turquoise values not knowing Humility Spontaneity Playfulness Self-amusement Turquoise tends to be light hearted Really really big picture thinking and embodiment How to distinguish between Turquoise and Green Because both are communal and collectivistic pendulum wise, it is really easy to confuse between the two, so watch out! At Turquoise you start to have real mysticism whereas at Green you tend to have new-agey faddish sort of spiritual practices where you may take part in a spiritual group, you go to a Yoga class and do a little bit of meditation, or do meditation retreats here and there but it's not serious. You are doing it for like a health benefit or to calm your mind or to reduce anxiety. None of these have anything to do with real deep metaphysical meditation At Turquoise you start to have industrial grade levels of meditation and contemplation, not casual amateurism like what Green is doing. Turquoise is informed by direct non dual experiences rather than beliefs or ideas that Green got from reading a book. Green believes in a lot of things like reincarnation, a belief in Gaia, as a mother nature like design of intelligence, or belief in a soul or a belief in God! But these don't matter if you haven't directly experienced that stuff for yourself Turquoise embraces global collectivism without attacking individuality like the way Green did! With Turquoise everybody is allowed to be individualistic if they so choose. But at a same time there is a recognition of this sort of global collectivism that needs to happen Another difference is that Turquoise is conscious of the spiral and Turquoise is a spiral wizard being able to see the world from all these different perspectives in a way that Green wasn't able. Turquoise is not as triggered by social injustices as Green was. There is an acceptance and a deep understanding. The acceptance comes from a deep understanding of conflict, war, violence, greed. Green was just reacting against those unconscious characteristics , whereas Turquoise has deep existential understanding of these negative things. Turquoise is much more understanding of stage Orange. Doesn't demonize stage Orange the way Green does. Turquoise is not as political as Green, Turquoise doesn't take politics too seriously. Green loves to join its political causes, gets a little too militant to defend what Green believes in. Turquoise is a little more playful about the problems that go on socially although not ignorant. Turquoise avoids the mob mentalities that come with Green. In Turquoise there is an awareness of Ego, more mindfulness and more presence whereas Green lacks those traits. Turquoise tends to have much more emotional mastery than Green Turquoise tends to be non-reactive and detached whereas Green is very reactive and very attached Turquoise is quite effective at solving large problems whereas Green was more about getting together and protesting and complaining about stuff they don't like Characteristics of Turquoise Turquoise sees the human race as a single organism, everything is connected, this is not a metaphor, you actually see the dissolution of the physical boundary between self and other A fading of artificial boundaries of ethnicity, skin colour, gender, race, nationality, bloodlines To Turquoise, his mother is as related to him as his coffee table. All boundaries start to break down Turquoise sees the world as interlinked causes and effects as interacting fields of energy For turquoise there is joint activity across groups, factions and communities Feelings and emotions come back into play Work must be meaningful to the overall health of life There's a deep trust of intuition and instinct The self is a part of a large conscious spiritual whole Non manipulative Non-ideological Non judgemental Not driven by fear or selfless selfishness Doesn't play victim Doesn't play blame games Turquoise is far beyond Green faddish spirituality, Turquoise has direct experience of its spirituality and embodies spirituality Deeper spiritual and metal capacities are awakened. New senses, new abilities that you may think that are super human now become ordinary The development of paranormal abilities Healing abilities Astral projection Remote viewing The mystical becomes the mundane for Turquoise Inspiring levels of emotional mastery Minimalist living, less is more Ecologically conscious like Green and Yellow, maybe even more so now! Being a visionary Being an inspiring leader The unification of science, technology, medicine and mysticism A really deep understanding and unification of all religion For Turquoise collective imperatives reign supreme over individual egoic needs Turquoise is engaged in business. But it's gonna be business with soul. For Turquoise there is a sense of a greater community built around spiritual embodiment Turquoise represents the sixth and the seventh chakra, the third eye and the crown chakra Turquoise actions come from selfless love and an open heart Great mental and behavioural flexibility Sexual desire is transmuted into metaphysical love Turquoise loves to deal with paradox Post rational and post material Non-linear Human centred Super natural intuition High integrity For Turquoise the universe is both impersonal and deeply personal Conscious of the miracle of life Turquoise is now an even deeper systems thinker than Yellow was For Turquoise life consists of fractals Turquoise stands in awe at the cosmic order, like stars, clouds, trees, cars, plants, animals etc For Turquoise reality can be experienced but never truly known Dissolution of the ego A movement away from gross materialism to subtle stuff A shift from the external to the internal A transcendence of morality, meaning, judgement, life and death, duality, mind, reason, science, good and evil Turquoise is finally able to have really deep honest meaningful relationships beyond the shallow and petty clinginess and neediness and materialism that came with Tier 1. Examples of Turquoise Sadhguru Shunya Murti Thomas Campbell Yoda David Hawkins Ken Wilber Shinzen Young Deepak Chopra Stan Grof Osho Mooji Rupert Spira Ekchart Tolle's A new Earth book Ekchart Tolle's The Power of Now Eckhart Tolle Yogananda Martin Ball Terence McKenna Carl Jung Sri Aurobindo Pierre Teilhard de Chardin Ervin László David Loy Allan Watts Wim Hof Dalai Lama Sacha Shulgin Yoga Holotropic Breathwork The book the Holographic Universe The Akashic records Opening the third eye The penial gland Out of body experiences Samadhi experiences Paranormal abilities Clairvoyance Channels Mediums Rudolf Steiner Alternative healing systems The notion of Maya Psychedelics 5-MEO-DMT Rupert Sheldrake's morphogenetic fields Gandhi's ideas of pluralistic harmony The notion of Gaia, earth as a living system Biocentrism The Monroe institute The Esalen institute Transpersonal psychology as a field Quantum Field theory Sacred Geometry Reincarnation Opening chakras Saints Sages Mystics Prophets Turquoise Statistics Less than 0.1% of the global population is at Turquoise Less than 1% of the total world influence belongs to Turquoise The style of government under Turquoise is a holistic organism! Micro-management of all life forms towards the common good in response to macro problems. It is very globalist! The purpose of this government and this society is to elevate the consciousness of all of mankind Spiral Dynamics vs Non-Duality It is true that the higher you go on the spiral, the more consciousness the individual tends to exhibit, but make sure that you don't confuse stage Turquoise with strict non-duality. You can be in a non-dual state and not be at stage Turquoise Don't confuse Turquoise with Enlightenment or Non-Duality If someone is Enlightened, doesn't mean that he is Turquoise, and if someone is Turquoise, this doesn't mean that he is enlightened. The mantras of Turquoise Everything is one We are all God You are already enlightened Everything is perfect and at the same time everything is evolving To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower The kingdom of heaven is within Forgive them father for they know not what they do Life is a dream What triggers Turquoise? Not that much triggers Turquoise. Turquoise is acceptant and quite understanding of how Maya works, how ignorance works. Turquoise has developed quite a high degree of emotional maturity and mastery. The insanity of the world The status quo Myopia, the limited vision that people have Materialistic corruption Profits over truth and spirit Dogmatic scientism and rationalism Ecological dysfunction The collective suffering of mankind ( All the suffering that mankind is facing is largely self-inflicted) Little petty mundane survival stuff Limitations of Turquoise Turquoise is so sophisticated that it tends to not have any big limitations as the lower stages have Too mystical and too spiritual to the point of dropping all concerns for earthly problems Turquoise people tend to live in a bubble. In their own reality Developing a Guru Cult like complex For Turquoise life can become sort of meaningless Turquoise can deny the importance of the political issues Turquoise can assume that other people are just as capable of awakening as they are Turquoise can develop a mega tribe and in worst case scenarios it can clash with another Turquoise mega tribe Turquoise can be stuck on shallow states of enlightenment and non-dual experiences Warning There tends to be an over idealization of Turquoise. A big mistake would be to think of Turquoise as this perfect, Jesus like human being. Turquoise can make mistakes and behave wrongly just like anyone else. Turquoise doesn't mean that someone is a literal saint. Turquoise doesn't make you moral or good Turquoise doesn't make you special. Don't make the mistake of thinking that once you reach Turquoise your life will be perfect Turquoise doesn't make you enlightened Turquoise will not make you immune to false beliefs or to lower perspectives or cultural biases Turquoise doesn't make you immune to dangerous social ideas. Turquoise people are also capable of holding dangerous/unconscious political opinions What works well in Turquoise's head doesn't mean it will also work well in reality Turquoise is not immune of hurting others Turquoise is not immune of sexual cravings Turquoise is not immune to addictions But generally Turquoise will have transcended a lot of these unwanted addictions and behaviours otherwise he would have had it very difficult for him to reach Turquoise How to transcend Turquoise? You don't have to transcend Turquoise. You reached the summit of the spiral! Your focus should be on how to embody Turquoise as deeply as possible! Once at Turquoise you should really focus on exploring non-duality to its fullest How to embody Turquoise? Make sure you have a hardcore, industrial-grade spiritual practice going whether that's meditation, yoga, self-inquiry, contemplation or whatever else Contemplate everything! Don't just contemplate things like What am I? or Who I am? Or what reality is? Contemplate the little things like what is language ? What are relationships ? What is sexuality? What is politics? What is government ? Contemplate all the things! Embody unconditional love Long solo retreats Spiritual purification work of various kinds Shadow work Do psychedelics especially 5 MEO DMT Join or start some kind of spiritual community Read Turquoise books Meet Turquoise sages face to face Study many religions. Make sure your mystical practices aren't coming from just one school or tradition Study cutting edge science Study non-dual theory deeply Open your chakras Transmute your sexual energy Learn alternative healing techniques To really master Turquoise make sure you go back and master all the lower stages. Go all the way back to Purple and ask yourself, what am I missing from Purple or from Red or from Blue or from Orange or from Green or Yellow, what aspect of Blue am I missing or that I haven't fully embodied? Master all the lower stages. There is a lot of depth at every stage Keep watching Actualized.org
  11. This seems like a higher spiral value: "To orange reality is impersonal and it doesn't care about you, and the only reason a rock from space hasn't hit your head is just by pure luck."
  12. Re-watching @Leo Gura's spiral Dynamics stage Orange video, I've manually taken notes on my OneNote Commonplace book about everything Leo explained about stage Orange in his video. Thus making a thorough and compressive summary for everyone interested in spiral dynamics stage orange. No AI was used whatsoever. Hope it helps! Enjoy! What is the essence of Orange? It's individual achievement. Improving the self. All the actions you undertake are only for your own personal gain. This is a shift from the blue worldview which was about sacrificing yourself for the good of civilization. Orange is not concerned with the afterlife. All it matters is that it lives the good life here on earth. With Orange comes the rise of: Business Consumerism Secularism The separation of church and state. Popular culture Scientism (Like science turned into the new religion) Success oriented self-help. The rise of secular democracies. As opposed to blue which had a more theocratic form of government. Stage Orange values Achievement, Success and excellence Climbing to the top of the hierarchy Obsessed at being number one. Striving to be the best, a winner. Improving one's position in life Efficiency, progress, productivity and optimization Manipulating the system and win maxing. Orange can be extremely manipulative. Orange has no problem exploiting a person or a situation Orange values action, results and pragmatism (Orange doesn't care about the afterlife, about spirituality, about metaphysics! Orange cares about tangible goods and material profit). Orange values never ending growth. Orange values capitalism and libertarianism Competitive marketplaces, deregulation, denationalization Orange values hard work, business and entrepreneurship Orange values competition and winner takes all situations Orange prides himself as being a strong competitor Orange values self-improvement The rise of the self-help industry which before was substituted with religion at the stage Blue level of development There is also green and even yellow self-help but the orange way of doing self-help is along the lines of how to manipulate the marketplace better so you get the best position in life. Orange values skills, knowledge and education Orange values confidence, optimism and charisma Entertainment and showmanship Personal freedom, self-reliance and independence (To orange being dependent for income from the welfare state is just a crutch) Free speech Money, sex and luxury Net worth (To Orange the more net worth it accumulates the more successful it is) Orange values looks, beauty, sexiness and coolness Consumerism (buying the newest Iphone, the newest Gucci bag, the newest shoes) Orange loves brands (BMW, Gucci, Iphone) Loves pop culture, celebrities and social media All the orange culture basically represents the worshipping of celebrities because to orange celebrities symbolize the pinnacle of success. Orange values quarterly profits, mass markets and sales. It is all about how to market a product to as large as a marketplace, to as many people, to make as much profit as possible. Orange is all about mass production and industry Orange values rationality, logic, secularism, science and humanism (This is huge for Orange because it takes it away from the Blue worldview which encompassed religion, traditions and authority. Thus Orange becoming rebellious and swinging the pendulum in the completely opposite direction) Orange is a full on skeptic. Values skepticism but fails to be skeptical of it's own skepticism and of course orange is not skeptical of orange itself or to science. Orange hates metaphysics and thinks that it doesn't need them. When in fact Orange's metaphysics represent atheism, reductionism and utilitarianism. Orange doesn't recognize the limits of rationality or science. Orange values technology, analysis and facts Orange values data, analytics, charts and it wants to measure and quantify everything. Orange values fact based education as opposed to blue who valued religious indoctrination. Orange values scientific methods and IQ. Orange values strategic thinking and risk analysis, innovation and creative thinking and results. Maintaining a competitive edge Competence over rank or bloodlines Orange will stab you in the back with no remorse if it can sense that it can get a favourable outcome which would be a win for himself. When does orange emerge? Orange emerges when Blue starts to recognize the limitations of itself. It is when blue realizes that this absolute truth that he was holding on to, maybe it is not as certain as it initially believed and maybe the world isn't as black and white as it initially thought it was. Maybe the divisions between good and evil are not so clear. Maybe it's religion isn't as intelligent and good as it initially thought. Maybe the bible didn't contain only good information. Maybe the people that wrote the bible didn't understand some aspects about reality. There happens a shift in blue's mind to where it starts to think more independently and starts to do away with the old conformist and authority driven way of thinking. Characteristics of Orange A drive for personal results and success and status. Autonomy and independence Tries to do away with blue's bureaucratic system Seeks the good life and material pleasures Orange is characterized by manipulating the earth's resources mercilessly. For Orange society evolves from strategy, technology and competition. Orange thrives on outdoing other orange individuals There is an aversion within orange against religion, spirituality and mysticism. To orange religion is just silly superstition To Orange there is nothing we cannot demystify about reality as long as we do more and more science. To orange reality is impersonal and it doesn't care about you, and the only reason a rock from space hasn't hit your head is just by pure luck. 14. Taoism and the Tao-te Ching INTRODUCTION Lao-tzu is generally acknowledged as the founder of the philosophy of Taoism. Lao-tzu's central figure is a person whose life is in perfect harmony with the way things are. The master has mastered nature — not in the sense of conquering it, but of becoming it. In surrendering to the Tao, in giving up all concepts, all judgements and desires, the mind grows naturally compassionate. S/he finds deep in one's own experience the central truths of the art of living, which are paradoxical only on the surface: That the more we are truly solitary, the more compassionate we can be. The more we let go of what we love, the more present our love becomes. The clearer our insight into what is beyond good and evil, the more we can embody the good. Until finally s/he is able to say, in all humility, "I am the Tao, the Truth, the Life." The Tao-te Ching is the first text of Taoism, and it is certain that the book was written by more than one person. Most historians and scholars now agree that the Tao-te Ching was a product of the Spring and Autumn Period. Like its contemporaries, the text discussed statecraft and offered political alternatives. It was only in the Taoism of the Chuang-tzu and the Lieh-tzu that non-involvement was advocated. The Taoists of the Tao-te Ching were not social dropouts. For them, the sage was an individual who understood the natural way of things (the Tao) and lived in harmony with it; therefore, changes in society must come from changes within individuals, and changes in individuals could come only from following the principles of the Tao. It is this feature that distinguished the Taoism of the Tao-te Ching from the teachings of Confucius. The Legacy of Shamanism in Later Developments of Taoism The most obvious incorporation of shamanic practices into Taoism was found in the religious and magical aspects of Taoism that emerged in the Han dynasty (206 BCE — 219 CE). Like the Yüeh shamans, Taoist magicians used incantations and talismans to ward off malevolent spirits and heal the sick. Indeed, the use of water and mirrors to combat malevolent and destructive forces, which can be traced back to the Yüeh shamans, is seen in the practice of Taoist magic today. Another legacy of shamanism is the Pace of Yü and the flight to the stars. This aspect of shamanism found its way into a form of Taoist mysticism known as Shang-ch’ing Taoism in the fourth century CE and inspired writings that would become a major part of the Taoist canon. The shamanic journey underground would also become central to Taoist magic and mysticism in the hands of Tung-fang Shuo, a Han dynasty Taoist, who wrote a guide to journeying through the roots of China’s five sacred mountains. Today, we find elements of these underground journeys in Taoist ceremonies: priests still enter the underworld to rescue dead souls who have been abducted by malevolent spirits. An even greater influence on Taoism came through shamanism’s impact on the philosophy of Lao-tzu and Chuang-tzu. This influence is often unrecognized, because many scholars consider the Taochia (philosophical Taoism) and the Tao-chiao (religious Taoism) as opposing branches of Taoist thinking. A little-known entry in Ssuma Ch’ien’s monumental work of history titled Shi-chi (Historical Records) in the biography of Lao-tzu, reads, “Lao-tzu was a native of Ch’u, of the county of Fu, of the village of Li.” Lao-tzu, the founder of the philosophy of Taoism, lived in a society that had a strong shamanic culture. Moreover, several prominent Chinese scholars have also recently noted similarities in language construction between the Tao-te Ching and the literature of the Ch’u culture. Similarly with Chuang-tzu: the Lü-shih ch’un-ch’iu (Lü’s Spring and Autumn Annals), a history of the Spring and Autumn Period of the Chou dynasty (770–476 BCE) written during the Warring States (475–221 BCE), tells us that Chuang-tzu came from the township of Mong, in Sung, a vassal state of Ch’u. Ssu-ma Ch’ien, the Grand Historian, concurred; Chuang-tzu, he wrote, was a native of Sung, a small kingdom that got amalgamated into the state of Ch’u. The Teachings of the Tao-te Ching On the Tao The Tao is the source of life — of all things. It is nameless, invisible and ungraspable by normal modes of perception. It is boundless and cannot be exhausted, although all things depend on it for existence. Hidden beneath transition and change, the Tao is the permanent underlying reality. Although the Tao is the source of life, it is not a deity or spirit. This is quite different from the shaman's animistic view of the universe. In the Tao-te Ching, the sky, the earth, rivers and mountains, are part of a larger and unified power known as Tao, which is an impersonal and unnamed force behind the workings of the universe. However, in the Tao-te Ching, this unnamed or unnamable power is not entirely neutral — it is benevolent: "the Celestial Way is to benefit others and not to cause harm" (chapter 81, Tao-te Ching), and since "the Celestial Way follows the Way of the Tao" (chapter 25, Tao-te Ching), we can assume that in the Tao-te Ching, the Tao is a benevolent force. On Sagehood Some parts of the Tao-te ching show strong influence from the shamanic culture of Ch’u: they are to be found in the discussions on sagehood and on cultivating life. Lao-tzu was a native of Ch’u. The students who recorded his teachings were most likely natives of the same region. Philosopher-teachers of the Spring and Autumn Period rarely established schools outside their native states: most of their students came from the local or neighboring towns. The Taoist sage had abilities similar to those of the shaman of Yü’s times. S/he was immune to poison, talked to the animals, and had a body that was as soft as an infant. Sexual energy was strong, and the sage practiced methods of prolonging life. These shamanic qualities of the sage remain a permanent feature of Taoism up to this day. The Taoist sage was also a very involved member of the community; in fact, Taoist sages made ideal rulers. One of the most famous ideas of Taoism, and also the source of alot of misunderstanding, is wu-wei. This word, used in describing the sage and often translated as non-action, gives the impression that the Taoist sages “did nothing.” This is inaccurate, and could not be used to describe all Taoists. Wu-wei had different meanings for different Taoist philosophers. The wu-wei of the Tao-te Ching is different from the wu-wei of Chuang-tzu, which is different again from the wu-wei of Lieh-tzu. Wu-wei in the Tao-te ching is “going with the principles of the Tao,” and the path of the Tao is a benevolent one. Thus, wu-wei in the Tao-te ching is not “doing nothing”; it is not even the non-interference advocated in the Chuang-tzu. In the Tao-te ching, wu-wei means not using force. The sagely ruler who cares for his subjects in a non-intrusive way also practices wu-wei. Far from doing nothing, the Taoist sage of the Tao-te Ching is an active member of society and is fit to be a king. On Cultivating Life In the Tao-te Ching, the sage is one who cultivates life. The Tao-te Ching describes two methods of cultivating life: physical techniques and attitude. The physical techniques included regulation of breath, physical postures that are the precursors of calisthenics, and possibly techniques of retaining and cultivating sexual energy for the return to youth and vitality. On the matter of lifestyle and attitude, the Tao-te Ching states that desire, attachment to material things, and activities that excite the mind, rouse the emotions, tire the body, and stimulate the senses, are all detrimental to health. In the early form of Classical Taoism, it was possible to be active in politics and not sacrifice physical and mental health. The problem arises only when one gets attached to fame and fortune and does not know when to stop. The message in the Tao-te Ching is: Cultivate the physical and mental qualities of the sage; get involved and help in a non-intrusive way; retire when the work is done. The Tao-te Ching values shamanic qualities and personal power, but it does not share the animistic worldview of the shamans. Instead of accepting a world of diverse spirits, it sees the Tao, a unified and unnameable force, as the underlying reality of all things. The philosophy of the Tao-te Ching grew out of the Spring and Autumn Period; however, it was also a cultural product from the region of Ch’u. In shedding the shamanic world of diverse spirits and retaining the personal power of the shaman, the Tao-te Ching represents a transition from shamanic beliefs to a philosophical system with a unified view of the nature of reality (the Tao), the sage, and the cultivation of life.
  15. So God is like really an conscious intelligent thing that can like things? Or is it more like an impersonal alien force which essence is to create dreams but it's not because it likes it but more because it just can?

  18. That is exactly as you write: Leos God Realization. A very subtle (but still present) identity/subject/observer "Leo" experiencing the Ox, and projecting itself on it. Of course, it is no longer Leo or personal or anything resembling an ego, doesn't need to have a center, can (and is) already nondual, but it is still subtle identity, a subtle subject vs. object, subtle filters, "having" the God Realization. It is not utterly empty and impersonal nondual Infinite Reality itself. "Something" that temporarily arises is still having the experience. It is not permanent. Which Absolute Reality/True You is. Always here. For the utterly empty and impersonal part, see "What is enlightenment, no, I mean really, like what is it?" by Steven Norquist. The same story in Zen (in Kapleau, Three Pillars of Zen): Harada Roshi on Yaekos Kensho: "I confirm that she has truly seen the Ox .... But as yet there remains a subject who is seeing. Her Mind’s home is still far distant. She must search more intensely!" Yaekos Enlightenment: "I have reached the point of actually grasping the Ox, and there is absolutely no delusion. There is neither Ox nor man." "Those who have only kensho do not know this state of unlimited freedom and profound peace of mind. Indeed, it cannot be known until one comes to full enlightenment." If the subject can't be switched off fully sobre, it can't be switched off fully with psychedelics. Some subtle remnants preventing Enlightenment always remain. And these shut down Awakening after coming down from the trip. Not too complicated actually, but what magnificent illusions Spirit can still invent on the last mile... And there is ZERO chance to anticipate the last shift, the dropping of all filters/lenses/identities/centers/... until it happens. Because if it could be anticipated, it would have already happened. And hence, SWbtR gets his usual beatings, although increasingly in a compassionate way. Selling unlimited freedom and profound peace of mind by The River
  19. I understand it looks like that for you . It couldn't look any different. I have no way of communicating these final steps in concepts/words to you. "Many so-called enlightened people may not have much of a sense of self, but that does not mean they have higher consciousness of God." (Full) Enlightenment doesn't mean little sense of self, or killing the ego (which remains functional, even better than before, afterwards). It is the dropping of each and any identity and center. No subtle Identity/center/separatation is left. All seen through, the loop closing itself in realtime. Boundless aware eternal Reality itself, without any possible center/identity, in which and as which all appearance flows. All of what you write, even "God-Realization", has identity/center/separation left. A "God-Realizer". That is a temporary arising mirage in the eternal unchanging Reality/Totality. Enlightenment is truly utterly impersonal Infinite Reality/Awareness. No center. Infinite and boundless. Without nothing possible besides it, without a second, in no dimension and realm. It is utterly beyond concepts and words, identities and centers, experiences and understandings. Although all of that happens within "It". Infinitely intelligent. God. Totality. Each and any subtle identity/center/duality (which by definition is separate from the Totality) has to go. All of these are temporary arisings, reflections on the water, mirage, illusions. And they are very very very subtle and tricky towards the end of the path, nothing one can talk about with concepts without having had the reference experience of the signifiers/words. What you call God-Realization is still a mirage, a reflection on the water, being had by an illusionary self (although highly awakened and developed, nondual and infinite, but not yet truly impersonal and truly centerless and hence also still reflection on the water). Not yet truly enlightened and truly impersonal. None of the "God-Realization" is eternal or timeless, or always here. You are that which is always here. All of these reflections on the water of the cycle of ignorance to God Realization happen in You. A mirage. Appearances. Changing. Dreamlike. Unreal. The last step is the falling away of that God-Realizer. That is still a subtle separation and identity. Believe or not. What remains? What is always here? What is truly real? What are you really? What is truly eternal, always the case, god-realized or not, enlightened or not? That which can never loose or gain anything, despite being enlightened or ignorant. That is It. Or True You. See you "there". Your dream-character Selling Water by the River Musical Coda: Life must have its Mysteries
  20. Day 32 Tomorrow I'm going shopping and buying a "creation" notebook as I talked about in a previous post. It will be about making a debrief of the day as honest and precise as possible which will correlate the different conscious/personal data ("more or less controllable", in the Neville Goddard paradigm), and unconscious/impersonal. The most conscious data is the mental discourse and the imaginative process in general, what is not conscious is what is projected into the maya. Of course here we are still in duality, theoretically (idealist monism, philosophy of Neville Goddard, Berkeley, Maharshi...) and experimentally (Psychedelics in particular 5 MeO DMT, Awakening during meditation or yogic practices in general...) we can go beyond duality, but with our current level of consciousness we must always play with it and the simplest is to represent reality as such a duality, conscious/unconscious echo chamber. Neville Goddard wrote "emotion is the secret"; I see what is perceived as an emotion as a crossroads between the conscious and the unconscious. I have the belief that I can move my arm by thought, and this belief is justified in a whole bunch of ways; I do not however have the belief that I can fly and access to this frequency will therefore be automatically blocked as I seek it and therefore confront myself with the limiting belief. Have you heard about the paradox of the soccer ball that will never reach the goal? Because before crossing the 10 meters that separate it, it will have to cross 9.9m, then 9.99m, then 9.99999999999m and this to infinity. The objects of the maya, as limits, function in such an asymptotic way: The more you imagine it, the more you fix it. Even if I want to do something as simple as drinking water, if I overinvest impulsively (consciousness) in the image of drinking water, it will not trigger the motor part to experience bringing my bottle of water to my mouth and consuming it; It is the absolute persuasion that it happens, absolute if not just enough for it to take "time" rather than seeing the water directly teleport into my mouth, that allows the experience, otherwise I would be stuck like the ball 0.0000001 meters from the goal. That is why those who talk about manifestation insist on starting from the principle that it happened/is happening, especially not that it "should" happen. Feeling (once again the personal/impersonal dichotomy is an illusion of duality, in absolute terms everything is consciousness and there is no difference between "I" and "it", neo advaita 101 lol, which is conscious/unconscious, always in the sense used by Neville Goddard) is like a "back door" in the sense that it is an experience that is quite easy to induce by the human imagination, and at the same time quite tengible, objective to influence the conscious and therefore ultimately the whole echo chamber, the belief system at the origin of creation. This is the greyhound.
  21. The freedom I speak about all the time. The freedom that is already the case but not for the individual. Not for the person. Impersonal freedom. Freedom to appear as it wants. Freedom is already the case. The individual can never be free because the individual is freedom appearing as that. Freedom appearing as not free can never be free. It can only appear as it appears and cannot become something. It already is. So if there's an individual, it's automatically not free because there just isn't two forms of freedom. Only "existential freedom" appearing as everything. .
  22. God and god Query: Is God an abstract and meaningless idea? Reply: At first I was puzzled by your question, because it sounded as though you were asking whether God exists -- but you didn’t word it that way, and besides, I know you do believe that God exists. From previous correspondence, I suspect that you are relaying a question from skeptical acquaintances whom you aren’t sure how to answer. So I’ve given some thought to what they might mean by suggesting to you that God is an “abstract and meaningless idea.” Perhaps the difficulty is that the terms “God” and “god” are used in several different senses. Sometimes the term “god” is used for whatever it is to which someone gives his unconditional commitment. This is what we mean when we say of a greedy man, “His god is money.” There are lots of gods of this sort: Sex, Me, Power, Reputation, and so forth. Since almost anything might be someone’s “god” in the sense of unconditional commitment, I can see why someone might say that the term is meaningless. But if we ask what deserves unconditional commitment, there is only one answer, and that is the God whom we worship. Sometimes – although the term “god” itself is not often used in this way – people call themselves “religious” because they have elevated feelings. If, for example, they have feelings of awe when they look at the sky, they say they are “religious.” Since people may have elevated feelings about almost anything – from the Hubble Space Telescope to the Oprah Winfrey show -- in this sense too I can see why someone might say that terms such as “god” and “religious” are meaningless. But if the question is what ought to arouse our loftiest feelings, again there is only one answer: The Creator, whom we call God. Sometimes the term “god” is used for a being who has vast powers, like the beings of the Greek myths (or like Marvel comic book heroes). Though God is powerful, this is not what we mean by God. The “gods” of mythological were contingent beings like you and me. They didn’t have to exist; something would have had to cause them to exist. But the true God, as Christians understand Him, exists necessarily. He can’t not be. Those “gods” existed in the same way that you exist; they just had more of everything. But God is the answer to the question of why there is something and not rather nothing – why anything at all exists apart from Him. Those “gods” were products of human imagination. But there is, and can be, only one First Being. God, then, is not a meaningless abstraction, but the Being above all other beings. I can think of one more thing your acquaintances might mean in saying that God is a meaningless abstraction. They may mean that whether He exists or He doesn’t exist, it makes no difference; life goes on the same way. But if God is what Christian faith claims He is, then this is far from true: God is not only the First Cause on which all other being depends, but the First Meaning on which all other meaning depends. Apart from Him, life is absurd. He is the greatest and most praiseworthy thing. Surely something is wrong with us if we cannot admire what is infinitely greater than ourselves. Since He is the supreme and uncreated Good, we depend on Him even to put the goods of this life in right order. Without His providence, we are constantly tempted to do evil so that good will result. Without His grace, we cannot be forgiven our wrongdoing. What is impersonal cannot forgive; morality, as such, has a heart of stone. Without the same grace, we cannot be healed of our brokenness. Moral discipline can accomplish something, and that is good, but eventually it hits a wall. Without the same grace, we cannot make sense of our suffering, because we cannot offer it to be united with His sacrifice for us. Finally, even in the unlikely event that we have all this world offers, we are compelled to ask, “Is this all there is?” That which cannot be found in this world must be found out of this world. In the vision of His face is that perfect fulfillment which leaves nothing further to be desired. jbudziszewski's blog Copyright © J. Budziszewski. Site information. RSS feed.
  23. @Breakingthewall This still sounds like the idea that one day selfish and evil people will get what they deserve like the just world fallacy. My father used to preach to me about how evil people would one day get what was coming to them as he read the bible to me. I'm not convinced that these types of people are horrified at what they have become. My understanding of karma is much more nuanced than the fancy dressed up way of saying selfish people will ultimately fail. I see karma as multi dimensional and not just as a moral calculus. I see it as multi generational with extremely complex consequences which cannot be clearly calculated. For example there can be karma from my family of criminals which created intergenerational trauma by creating a chaotic environment. Of course I ended up being hurt deeply without asking for any of this. Me being hurt without any fault of my own is a consequence of karma spanning across generations. It is not wrong or evil. Karma is impersonal even if it means innocent people get hurt because of it. Here is how my father described karma. "I am a good, honest drug dealer. I don't mix my drugs with rat poison. My crack is so good that my customers constantly come back looking for more. I end up making even more money off of this. This is a sign sent from God that I am a good person and what goes around comes around. God is rewarding me with more money and customers for this crack. I don't really believe in the devil, but I do believed that evil people will get what's coming to them."
  24. I agree, there's something special about meeting a saint IRL It's true that with geniuses is more about what they do and give to the world than themselves. Their inventions and insight are impersonal and evolve beyond themselves in a chain like fashion. It's a contribution to the body of Knowledge at the end of the day. That puts it into perspective. Awakening is that which you didn't know you desperately needed.
  25. @Fran11 I wouldn't say you are coming from ego, I would say you are coming from the perspective caused by a drug experience which is necessarily impermanent because it's just a drug experience. If you worked up to that on your own worked hardware then the duality you're creating between an impersonal inhuman "oneness" and then "the human dream" would collapse.
