Here are the words of Osho from this talks titled 'The Beginning of the Beginning'... It is not a dream life to you; it is real. When you see a dream the dream is real. Somebody who has awakened from sleep may go on saying that whatsoever you are seeing is just a dream, but the person who is dreaming, he is dreaming a reality, not a dream. In a dream, howsoever absurd, you cannot feel it as a dream. You believe in it, because once you feel it is a dream the dream disappears. The dream cannot remain there, your cooperation is withdrawn. You can cooperate only with reality, not with dreams; and if you cooperate dreams become reality -- it is through your cooperation. In the night, deep in sleep, you dream that you have become a king. You may be a beggar, or vice versa: you may be a king and you dream that you have become a beggar. But in that dream you are so identified you cannot think that it could be a dream. If you can think that it could be a dream, the dream will stop immediately. It will be broken, you will come out of it. If you realize in dream that it is a dream the dream is broken, the dream cannot exist. It exists through your cooperation, your identification is needed. If you are committed to it, if you get involved in it, only then can it continue. And the same happens with the greater dream which is life. When you realize this is a dream, immediately you have become a Buddha, you are enlightened. But this enlightenment cannot happen to you by others' knowing, others' wisdom. Buddha may go on calling to you that this is a dream you are living, but you will only feel that this man is a disturbance, a constant nuisance, he is disturbing your life. That's why we kill such persons. Socrates -- we poisoned him because he was a great disturber. Jesus -- we crucified him because he was a nuisance. Everybody is dreaming such beautiful dreams, and these persons unnecessarily, and without being invited, go on disturbing people and saying to them, "Wake up! You are dreaming. This is a dream." And the man may have been dreaming such a beautiful thing that he could throw away all life for that dream. If you become alert a dream disappears; if you become alert of your misery, the misery disappears. You cling to it because you think it is not misery, or some happiness is hidden somewhere in it. It may be misery outwardly, but a deep treasure is hidden behind it, so you have to cling to it for that treasure. Your life is misery -- but not for you. Realize its misery, it falls down. The very truth transforms you. And the moment misery falls the divine is revealed. To a miserable mind the divine cannot be revealed. To a celebrating mind the divine is revealed. Remember, only to a celebrating mind, to a mind which is happy, blissful, enjoying moment to moment, ecstatic, is the divine revealed. To a miserable mind the divine cannot be revealed, because a miserable mind is closed. The divine is here and now, but you are not here and now. If you are also here and now then the divine will be revealed to you. -

I think what's not important is all the petty problems of the dream and short-term life. However, life itself and awakened life is important, awakened humanity is important, spiritual growth is important. Because it will lead to life full of virtues and greatness of this dream. Thats what Abrahamic spirituality tells us with kingdom of god which will come and eternal life. These are important and there for a reason, while this short life is your test, quest, game. Test is important too because it will define what will happen with earth later, and what people will inherit. Everything is for a reason, it's god telling stories to himself, and stories might be unreal but they still have meaning, thats the whole point of storytelling. Humanity has to awaken, conscious evolution is taking place, homo sapiens slowly transforms into homo immortalis, evolution has a purpose and it will merge heavens and earth into new world where people will see miracle of the dream instead of living in the dream without knowing it. And then your dreams will come true. -
It might sound weird and girly but throughout my childhood I developed fear of growing up which throughout my early adulthood developed into strong fear of aging. I used to think about death and becoming old from age of 5, it did bother me a lot then. almost couple decades later i still did not get over that. i mean i sorta forgot about it in my teens and came back to that fear extensively during this year and i'm posting this not because it is just regular fear. I mean it bothers me to the extent of suicidal behavior because of how much I already aged since childhood and teens. i did huge self-help work so far, i had many many issues, but i just can't get over this particular aspect. i'm young but my body and face became older than before and this thought killing me now i'm making research on elixir of youth, i'm getting insane. my fam are pissed off on me. i have a naive dream that if i only look younger like before i'd go and conquer the world but i'm holding myself back. what's wrong with me? it is so infantile and shameful, my self-esteem felt down to the bottom end. i don't want other people, friends and girls to see me. ps. i know i am not my body but i'm not awakened so this understanding do not help me much. pps. i have received professional help. they didn't help much

The Power of Consciousness Question: How is it that going into something consciously has such a power to reveal all the threads which make up the tangle? Osho: Devageet, the reality is just the opposite. All our tangles in life are created by our unconsciousness, so the moment you become conscious those tangles disappear. It is not the power of consciousness that makes them disappear. It is the power of unconsciousness that creates them. All the tangles of life, of love, of relationship, are created by our unconsciousness. We don’t know what we are doing, and by the time we become aware it is too late. What has been done cannot be undone. Our unconsciousness is very supportive to the ego — they have a co-existence. Coming of consciousness will not only disperse all the tangles, it will also disperse you as an ego. […] Devageet, it is true consciousness has tremendous power, but it is not used in revealing and dispersing the tangles of your life; they simply disappear as you become conscious. Gautam Buddha used to say that when the lights are on and from the windows people can see that the master is awake, thieves don’t come close. When the lights are put off, only then do thieves come close to the house to see whether the master has gone to sleep and it is the right time to enter. He was saying this about consciousness. He used to call sex, greed, lust for power, position, respectability all thieves. They come to you only when they see that there is no light in the man; inside it is all dark. Once you are radiating consciousness and light, those thieves don’t come close to you. But consciousness has its own power. It is simply in the presence of consciousness that tangles disappear. The power is not used for dispersing the tangles and problems; the power is to bring blissfulness. The power is to bring peace, silence, at homeness, at easeness and a tremendous ecstasy, a divine drunkenness. Life becomes for the first time self-oriented; you don’t have to beg from others for anything. Nobody can give you blissfulness; nobody can give you ecstasy. Nobody can give you the sense of immortality and the dance that comes with it. Nobody can give you the silence, which becomes a song in your heart. What can people give to you? In fact, the power of consciousness gives you so much that you become capable of sharing with people. For the first time, you can give to people. They are living in darkness; they haven’t seen any light. They don’t have any idea what a conscious being is. They don’t have any conception, comprehension of the power of consciousness, how many flowers shower, how much fragrance becomes natural to you. You CAN give, and you can give them a taste and you can give them a direction, so they can also find the same power which is dormant in them. A conscious man awakened can help millions of people to move towards the source of joy, real and authentic life, to pure love which knows nothing of hate, which knows nothing of jealousy, which has nothing to do with body and biology — which is just a spiritual communion, a feeling of deep compassion for your innermost being. Yes, the power of consciousness gives you many things. The treasure is inexhaustible, but your problems and tangles have been created by unconsciousness — for them no power is needed, just the presence of consciousness is enough. -OSHO From The Invitation, Chapter 24 -
Upon realization, one looks back and wonders how and why does the seeker even come to exist? For Truth? Only to realize that once the seeking has stopped, that was liberation. To realize who and what you are. Prior to this the 4 or + years of seeking just seemed like a bad dream, yet felt so solid and real. It becomes a bad joke and there is nothing to do but laugh! But of course, PARADOXICALLY much hard seeking and yearning is needed in the beginning. To the "awakened" state, seeking just seems like a bad joke, but to a seeker, it's either life or death, a deep deep yearning. <- This deep yearning can confuse the "awakened" state, as like "for realz dude?" (This is not a disclaimer for seekers to give up there search, but at the same time it does!) I'm so confused about this and that's why I'm making a post about it!!!! HAHAHAH! Enlightenment is just a concept that the ego attaches to as something solid or an attachment one could acquire. But it's just giving up the pretense of becoming anything. This probably doesn't make any sense to a seeker. I am not saying I'm the slightest awake or my ego is just tricking me but for once in my life of 4+ years of meditation, I have no desire to meditate or look into spiritual teachings. Now reading or watching videos of teachers talking about enlightenment is just the most obvious thing ever. I don't know if this is the side effect of awakening but for the first time it just clicks and there's this deep knowing of the obvious.

@Monkey-man Yes it’s kundalini. Mine awakened when I was horniest I have ever been in the middle of a 10 day meditation retreat. It happened in a dark meditation cell where my fantasy went full blown and I was consumed by sexual energy. I nearly physicaly ejaculated without touching anything. You just got to hold it in and feel it in. @Shin If it made your body feel good than that’s a god sign. Kundalini to me is all about tuning into the good feelings in your body. With a spark it will slowly build and build.

For me, I think @Leo Gura best videos that had the most impact on my life were The Moralizing videos, Absolute Infinity, and his recent episodes on Self Deception. These three videos series had a profound impact on me because even though I had left Catholosism in my early 20's, the programming of what was 'right' and 'wrong' was deeply embedded in me. Although Leo and I are a probably opposite on the political spectrum, I have realized that even politics is just made up, but is a 'necessary' evil in order to organize what we call society. But at the same time, even labeling politics anything is ego; as it is made up, there is in fact nothing 'right' or 'wrong' about politics or anything we made up at all other than it is not reality. But at the same time, it exists in a mental reality that we created, which is a psuedo-reality/virtual reality of the mind of our species. In regards to "shoulding" or 'right' and 'wrong', where I once considered anything claiming to be "relativism" as post- modern Marxist ideology pushed to destroy the West, Leo does a great job breaking the deluded thinking of Western philosophy, but at the same time, as he may not realize, also breaks down Eastern philosophy. In fact, I think Leo's entire philosophy is a non-philosophy: the same way I have come up in my own thinking is the Philosophy of Nothing. This is the position which I am currently and naturally transitioning to myself into as I continue to shed old beliefs. Nothing is more powerful than" anything, as "any" thing is bounded while "no-thing" is not. But paradoxically, at the same time, "nothing" cannot do "anything." Essentially this is what I got out of the Absolute infinity videos which were a great way to imagine "God" but also making you realize it is impossible to imagine at all. Both Nothing and Anything are compliment and make up their respective flaws and distinctions, which of course, we made up and don't actually exist. What I took from his series on Self Deception (which I might add I enjoy Leo's humble approach to himself) is that, we would all be insane to believe we could ever be masters at anything. Anyone who claims to be a guru or a master is more deluded that any un-awakened human. Why? Because I think a master, teacher, or whatever, should know the fundamental truth learned by being enlightened that: There is no final level, thus mastery or anything is just another attempt by the ego to make a distinction between someone who is aware and unaware. My argument is that the more aware you are, that way less deluded about your own belief that you know anything at all becomes understood. That is what I took from the self deception series which I find was a great series. I've concluded from all this that there is no further reason to chase being enlightened; in fact, you cannot ever BECOME enlightened. you can only EXPERIENCE it. Furthermore, all you can ever do is experience anything, as life is ONLY an experience. And it has many forms of experience, in fact, INFINITE forms which NONE can be described with words ever. You cannot even describe the taste of your food, even when someone else tastes the same food and agrees that it is "good" because we can never experience their taste of the same food they are experiencing, from their experience. How can you know that person is tasting the same way you are and that their 'good" is the same good as yours? In other words, even if we obtained "enlightenment," our experience would only be limited to our perspective and could never be identical to someone else's experience. And as Leo pointed out, the Absolute infinity has INFINITE ways that can never be reached, thus, NO ONE can ever be fully enlightened, can never know God, and anyone who claims to know God or be enlightened in full of shit. So I use the term enlightened here to describe the UNDERSTANDING of this by reaching a limited experience of the so-called unlimited, which in of itself is limited by that set experience. We can only experience our fraction that we are in the entire part of the Whole. Even if we saw the "Whole" we are only seeing it from our perspective which in fact is only a sliver of the whole. In other words, we are always going to have bias and the ability to only see from our own eyes, experience from our own experience, and no one else's, thus never being able to see the Whole as the Whole, which is why there are infinite levels, because the infinite levels are composed of all the other infinite experiences possible that we cannot ever be. So is there a point to further continue enlightenment? I believe the answer is no. Because once you "get there", and learned that you will never get there, cannot ever get there in the final sense, or ever BECOME IT; just glimpse at it and simply experience it, the rest of the attempts to go to it either become a form of escapism, or just sheer addiction to get there and see it over and over for you own pleasure, or to try to learn something else to add to your egoic memory. I think the main point of becoming enlightened is to reduce your own suffering and you do this by learning you are not the ego. But ironically, even that can cause suffering. I believe this can be achieved with even ONE experience; maybe others need 1000 times, but I think this is the fundamental truth we are looking for. Enlightening to me is removing the delusions of the ego so you can return to this shared reality and "lighten up" and continue to experience your human form in a better way. That is why many people who achieve enlightenment simply laugh or cry in tears because its so simple and the reason why it is so mind-blowing is because what is seems to be is that it is nothing, which is like a giant joke no one expected lol. But then again, that is only ONE perspective that is nothing; the other is that it is everything! As Leo pointed out, some people go on 40 year journeys to become enlightened and can never get there. Leo can take some LSD or whatever on video and melt right before us; reaching it in 10 minutes, but even that is only a faction of it. NO ONE can ever reach it fully. So for me, I think Actualized and Leo's work is phenomenal. Although I'm not a fan of the cult-like and the Leo-worship vibe I get here from some followers, which he clearly speaks against in his videos, I believe he did a great job actually pushing forward thinking to the next level. He may be humble by about his own work, but I see an even deeper meaning perhaps he is unable to express in words? But I get what he is truly saying. Or do I? Maybe he does not even know how profound and simple it is; maybe he does? But all I know is that for myself I have taken what I have learned here and realized even more that maybe even taught here. And that I think is what true teachings can do; they teach the student to leave off where the sensei began. Sensei means "the one who came before" and I think it is a delusion to think that a Sensei cannot be surpassed by his student, in fact, if he is not, he has failed. I believe everything is evolution; the physical, of the mind, of the spiritual, and if the absolutely infinity is true, then nothing can ever be fully realized and that is the ultimate truth. Our job, as so-called "enlightened" people or those on this path, is to realize that we are here to pass the baton of evolution to the next generation on this infinite path, knowing that our teachings and our realizations will only be a stepping stone to the next level, which is on a infinite staircase that is ultimately a strange loop. Knowing this I think is what enlightenment is; but even the dumbest person you can talk to may even reach this conclusion and tell one of us looking for God this simple truth and laugh at us saying, "How can you ever know God?" Even the most devoted, deluded Christian will tell you he is unknowable, unimaginable, indescribable. So in a sense, even the unawakened or the most ignorant can say something true; the only difference is that they didn't experience this for themselves and are simply parroting their beliefs which they did not obtain by experience. So to summarize, for me, this all boils down to KNOWING that you have EXPERIENCED what the fuck you are talking about; or at least THINKING you have via an experience, only to know that even THAT isn't all of it, and thus, the mind-fuck never ends, nor will it ever end, and knowing this, I feel, is enlightenment is simply that. I am not discouraging anyone to stop meditating or learning; but just to know, whatever you do learn or achieve, there is always more and to think you ever reached anything but another unique experience, will have up ending up thinking you are holier than thou or are "finished" which is even worse off than you left off; as many of these so-called godmen or gurus we see act or claim to be like, when they in fact are not anything but the limited sliver than can ever be in regards to the whole.

Compassion doesn't tend to occur in the initial stages of Awakening, and most of the posts on here are from pre-awakened seekers. Period. Compassion generally opens up (along with the Hrid, or however you map it) with much time and maturity and wearing out of the same old mental programs, post experience of the Unconditioned/VOID. Still, I think MIghty Mouse is a troll anyway, so why do I give a fuck? -

@Leo Gura Yes so true. Be prepared for some heavy ego-backlash! anicca...Aniccaa...ANICCAAA! I seriously think Vipassana is one of the best ways to awaken ones kundalini, but the trick is to focus on the good sensations (opposite of vipassana technique) + semen retention. Sexual energy + quiet concentrated mind awakened my kundalini in the pagoda at a vipassana retreat, and I've read others awakening there's too during a retreat. -
I'll now say publicly what I said to StephenK in message: Sorry. I'm not always the greatest communicator, as Compassion is still being awakened and is not at mastery (obviously). I suck at communication often both verbally and in written form, and harsh speech (or its impression) results. I'm here to share and learn and hopefully contribute, but not add stress. I'm getting old, and never was very skilled at forum use, hence this double post (which is supposed to be a no-no, right?). I hope any who felt stress upon reading my attempts can find a way to forgive, if not for my sake, for the sake of development. Sincerely, M

Growing up I ate the standard american diet. But I've found that the more I've awakened, the more I've just gravitated towards a raw, vegan diet. Why? I just can't seem to help it. It's what I crave. For instance, I used to love eggs. They were great for getting protein into my diet while hitting the gym. Then one day out of nowhere, I started throwing up every time I ate eggs. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Eventually I cut out all meat just because I hated how it felt every time I ate it. And I used to eat meat everyday.

It has been a while since I posted here, but I just wanted to share a great book that I highly recommend: Already Free by Bruce Tift. He is an awakened Buddhist that is also a therapist. The way he describes how the mind works is highly adaptable to western minds. Check it out and compare it to your experience, and I think that many of you will be pleasantly surprised. Also, I wanted to say that Leo's video today was incredibly brave to post. One of my first posts in this forum was right after awakening, and at the time, it was difficult for me to post because of how honest I was to complete strangers. For a person who was once as rational as Leo to put himself out there like that is quite an accomplishment in itself. For what it's worth, his experience tracks my own in many ways, and I really think he is using his ability to eloquently explain the concepts in a way that has the potential to be highly beneficial to those who are seeking. Anyways, check out the book!

It's a temporary effect, don't worry but you can try erotic massage. I think that such therapy is the perfect way to recharge. I had such sensual experience in Ukraine, Josephina spa a few months ago. I was in the business trip and after long flight I decided to relax and booked a session of erotic massage. The masseuse was very gentle. She awakened different energy spots on my body. During the release, I had orgasmic senses in the whole body.

That first paragraph was a tongue in cheek way of illustrating how people, gurus, 'teachers', seekers and even our own egos often will frame the 'path'. That it has to be the most exemplary form that is the truth and anything but it is viewed as the complete opposite, this framing is done lure us onto the wheel and chase it. That brings me back to my original point that started this exchange, the abstract ideal that is set up as bait to lure us into chasing it. whether it's heaven, nirvana, enlightenment, truth, absolute and on and on. That's what makes it an ideal, it's an idea, a concept but people will believe it's real, a fact, the truth and not just their own personal one but a universal one that is for everyone and everything... because... the bait of perfection, for absolute, for the ONE the only true ONE! It's all built on belief, I could list out every belief people have just to get to the point of believing that one has no beliefs, that it isn't belief... no, it's TRUTH! Even if one wants to deny they have belief, instead to call it fact or reality it relies on a bunch of individual beliefs dependent on one another to support the chain of psychological trust that forms a personal ideology to call something a fact/reality.... but is still belief. Then some will package their own personal belief ideology or adopts someone else's in whole, in part or in combination and 'sell' it to themselves as truth and to others for them buy into as their own belief....even to sometimes literally sell it in books, seminars, satsangs, videos.... religions....to pay money to believe as they do. That is the point in this thread, too, people delude themselves into believing their own belief even that it isn't belief at all but call it a truth, an absolute truth.... the Truth, the ONE Truth. Me? I have awakened to it and just enjoy the trip, enjoy life...whatever it is. Being now here, allow it to be the fulfillment of all potential for what it is. Not try to control it's interpretation and conceptualization or claim some complete knowledge and understanding of it as absolute truth.... do I have it? Can I have it? Maybe... maybe not...does it matter?...Really? I let go of the yearning for it and the wheel stopped spinning....there is peace. If you experience this as well, then, so be it. -
SOUL replied to How to be wise's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nahm But is your God the most Godly? It has to be the truthiest truth, the most infinitely infinite and absolutely absolute or you are mired in the most delusional illusion! The most false deception of misery will consume you unless you hurry on that hamster wheel rushing to the other end of the duality I say it offers freedom from because I have the words... ideas .... beliefs of Truth which has a T that is the most capitalized evar! Once I awakened to the cycle of yearning in my consciousness that creates the hamster wheel in the mind and instead attune my awareness to a contentment in just being present those poles of duality ceased to be the source of suffering in my experience. True and false lost it's power to what is, real and illusion lost it's grip on being, genuine liberation from that cycle.... I'm sure there are many words for it and they are all free. -
@Monkey-man I have the same thing happen. My sense is that this is a reminder that whatever you thought was "productive" before was actually just your ego chasing after illusory goals. So when you experience higher states of consciousness you realize this and thus have no motivation to pursue them. Ultimately, this seems like a step back for your ego, but it is a step forward for a higher self which perhaps will align with actions that come from a more awakened place.

deci belle replied to Buba's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Source Mystic said: I would like to condense this just a bit and say that ego is the function that constitutes karmic evolution in terms of creation. Leaving aside concepts for the moment, there is still no "your" either before, during or after experiencing the sudden. Complete perfect enlightenment bears this out. The "fear" expressed in the OP is precisely what destroys the power of nonbeing's objectivity in the aftermath of the sudden by virtue of clinging. Clinging to one's tiny bit of enlightenment in terms of experiencing the absolute is no different than clinging to one's prior false identity. So ego isn't "your" being; rather, it constitutes the locus of the identity-cluster of the psychological apparatus of the being that is going to die. Even in terms of the temporal, there is no "your", and there never has been. This is the meaning of liberation. Yet the point of sudden enlightenment is actualizing enlightenment in the midst of conditions. In and of itself, enlightening experience is the relative extreme of delusion. Dogen said that "people become buddhas and buddhas become people." This is how it works. If enlightenment changes anything, it's not enlightenment. He also said that "further, there are people who attain realization upon realization and people who are deluded within delusion." Both statements are analogous. In terms of carrying out enlightening activity in the midst of ordinary affairs, nothing changes for the awakened person who sees potential and has learned to work with essence directly, whereas ordinary people go along with karmic momentum because they follow their thoughts unawares. Enlightenment is the experience of forgetting thoughts, thinker, knower and known. What is critical to note is that "realization upon realization" is the mind of delusion. "Deluded within delusion" is reality in terms of Suchness. Ego eradication is the interruption of self-refying thought constituting the fallacious identity. Function or no, universally selfless true intent constituting reality is that which is glimpsed in the instant of reversion beyond time preceding creation, karma and infinite existence. So "ego death" is the relative cause of enlightenment as well as the functionality of enlightening activity in the world before and after experiencing the sudden. Therefore "without ego" does not exist, as Source Mystic notes because "without ego" is conceptually relative to "selfless", in terms of conceivability. The boon of complete perfect enlightenment is not only the elimination of the personality's compulsions, but also because ego can now revert to its true purpose which is to serve the immovable shining unborn nonpsychological awareness in the awake being. In the opening of his taoist classic "Understanding Reality", Chang Po-tuan wrote, "If you come upon the great elixir without even looking for it, having come upon it, you are a fool if you do not refine it." This means that sudden enlightenment isn't something to keep, relative to having a self— it is the inconceivable nature of human being (which is a verb). Adapting selflessly to ordinary conditions isn't a matter of precepts or even morality because enlightening activity before or after the sudden is the nature of one's inherent enlightening function, which is inconceivable. In order to do so, it is not only the light of ego-function which is advantageous to keep hidden. So the process before and after the sudden is not separate from its source, having no beginning nor end. Enlightenment is just seeing who is aware— who has always been aglow. There is no one who is not just this right now. Yet "just this" is not people. Wonder of wonders! ed. note: change "result" to "cause" in paragraph 7 -

In awareness I awakened to existence 'before' the big bang... I am fulfilled by the potential of it in my being. -
Well that happened for me a couple of days ago, and needless to say it was reeeeally something. These tips are written sort of like notes for myself, so don't read these as commands you must follow. This thread is not a "tell us how you did it" thread, because the truth is, there is no method so what's the point. If you really really wanna know it happened trough (in order of importance): Pure, cosmic dumb luck I was on mushrooms (quite mild trip, could have had a normal convo although it would have not been pleasant at the time) Prolonged daily meditation practise (30-120min per day) Mindfulness (I consider myself a beginner) Self-inquiry (gonna do ALOT more of this in the future) At the time when it happened, I had been meditating and self-inquiring for about 50minutes. Then: BAM! But here are the insights: Forget enlightenment, instead go straight for TRUTH Leo (among many others) has mentioned this multiple times but I'll mention it again because its CRITICAL. Enlightenment is not true for you (or me atm, I was not awakened permanently) until you have it, until then, forget enlightenment and set you course for truth. Consider enlightenment as another bullshit story until you get it personally. Stop thinkin "Im awareness, Im awareness, Im everything...." This trap is a big one and I was In it for quite some time. Truth and enlightenment are NOT the same thing in this sense. I strongly feel one big reason my awakening happened because I really really really forgot everyhting I had heard and read about enlightenment and the truth of no-self moments before it happened. Thats why it blew me away so hard: THE SELF DOES NOT EXIST! The deeper you forget enlightenment, the better. It helps if you: Stop consuming enlightenment theory (so much at least) All this is doing is filling your head with bunch of ideas, and you don't want that. It's just another distraction from doing the actual work. Your mind knows this. it's really safe and sound when you are concentrating on ANYTHING other than it. When you inquire, its CRITICAL to REALLY mean what you are asking You must really be interested to the bone what you are, you must crave the truth with every inch of your being. Robotically repeating the questions will get you nowhere. I encourage you to think about other things as well before/during inquiry to really get your interest and love for life going, like the universe, life, death etc. Also, when you inquire, do it with a big dumb smile in your heart and face. LOVE the question, LOVE the fact that silence is your answer EVERYTIME you ask a question. LOVE that you feel frustrated, because: The more you "fail" at inquiry, the better Feeling stuck? GREAT! That means your mind is hard at work trying to do the impossible. Realize that thats the purpose of inquiry. Do it anyway. Become really aware between the distintion between a memory and a truth Cross your hands and look at them. There they are. Now close your eyes. They now have zero reality to them physically, now you only have a memory of them. Memory is just a mental image and NOT true. You only have the sensation of your hands, and you percieve them in your consciousness. Also, the room you think you are in, does not exist, nor does your head, body, the world or ANYTHING other than the stuff that is in your direct experience. When you close your eyes, the world literally disappears. You must be diligent to give absolutely ZERO reality to anything other than your experience. Spiritual ego exists only so you can give it away Don't try to become really "spiritual" person, thats nonsense. You already are the spirit, there is nothing that could build it more. Don't mistake spiritual ego to be some better and kinder version of your regular ego. It's a hot potato your ego latches onto, it possibly makes you feel happier and more positive, but it blinds you from the truth. The general feeling I got was, that when I just handed everything I was holding onto away, my beliefs, self-image, assumptions and especially spiritual ego, I was so naked that the truth could finally reveal itself to me. It felt like I was talking so loudly my whole life without a stop that the truth simply did not get a say. When I finally shut up for just a second, it said:

Question whether non awakened people tolerate your differences in the same sort of way you are planning on attempting to tolerate their differences. It's humbling as I suspect an immense amount of kind "low conscious" people are tolerating us "awakened" people too. Question whether this "low conscious" person will try and change you into someone like them, just like you hope you may bring them to your line of thinking. Be 100% open to the possibility you are not awakened and the person you believe low conscious is more conscious than you. Maybe you're the life of the party or maybe you start conversations nobody else finds conductive to a good time and actually tolerate you but just try and keep things lite. Maybe some "low conscious" people already tried every thing you tried and are on a spirituality break. Basically be humble and think it's possible some other people who seem low conscious are actually very stable of mind, live a large portion of their lives anxiety and pain free due to lucky genetics and other factors and therefor already live in the now by pure luck. I used to think I was the only one in my group really thinking deeply about these things but these days I realize I was the most depressed person in my group. But if you really are awakened then you will not even remotely be bothered with any of these issues. If you were awakened you would not be asking these questions. I'm not trying to have a go, I just believe not one of us is awakened yet - not even Leo.

I am 19. I am an IV heroin/cocaine addict since 15. Those two are the most crippling of my many addictions. I have restarted an amazing prescription drug called Suboxone yesterday, and whilst getting back into the practice of self actualization (see previous posts—I used to be somewhat active on here before my relapse), I started studying Leo’s videos again. I have thoroughly attempted the 12 step program, studied the Alcoholics Anonymous textbook (a collection of stories of the pioneers of AA and how it came about, what it is what is it’s purpose and then more stories of recovered addicts/alcoholics are enclosed) I have also been forced by rehabs to attend literally hundreds, possibly a thousand or so meetings, I have to speak up for 12 steps, though I am on the fence about if it’s for me still. In his video titled “Overcoming Addiction- The Root Cause of Every Addiction” starting at around 33:00, Leo begins speaking, seemingly from inexperience and misinformation about 12 step programs. I felt that he did not even read the actual twelve steps before making this statement about twelve step programs. “You can enroll in a twelve step program...” False- you do not enroll in a twelve step program. You just go to a meeting (usually in the basement of a church) and sit down, it’s free. U can opt to make that meeting ur “home group”, but u only sign ur first name on a loosely kept and rarely ever checked list usually written on some piece of loose leaf kept in a folder. “...and they’ll give you a lot of great techniques and that will be great...” I honestly cannot think of one technique for breaking addiction other than the one solution they offer you, which is living by the twelve steps. That’s literally the only technique. And it is a spiritual way of life, not a technique. “..but they don’t give you the big picture because they don’t understand it themselves...” “Your mission is not just to quit an addiction, and that’s the only real mission that a 12 step program will give you, they’ll say ‘okay let’s have you quit this addiction, and then we’ll replace this bad addiction with some good addictions” Completely utterly false. Having read, studied, been taught and lived the entire AA program in the past, I can assure you this is entirely 100% false. They only teach you about the twelve steps. They say by surrendering to a higher power (the universe, god, etc) and by ridding yourself of all the negative character defects primarily FEAR, EGOTISM/SELF CENTEREDNESS, LYING, ANGER, etc and by undoing all of your wrong doings wherever possible, and then by practicing meditation and prayer “to increase our conscious contact with God as we understood him” and the main part of what they say solves an addiction: Literally the main part, and Leo literally teaches this...it’s literally the last step... “Having has a SPIRITUAL AWAKENING AS THE RESULT OF THESE STEPS, we carried our message to other alcoholics and practiced these PRINCIPLES in ALL of our AFFAIRS. The program simplified down is this: “Get help from spiritually awakened people, and then when you yourself are spiritually awakened through living these spiritual principles we are about to show you how to live, THEN you help someone who is currently suffering in what your shoes felt like when you came in” He goes onto say “there’s a very big difference between playing defense and playing offense, in a twelve step program you’re playing defense you’re not playing offense. You’re not trying to become the best human being you can possibly be [uhmmmm no these suffering addicts literally are trying through these steps I see them try so hard I literally was just trying for my life to reach apotheosis while in a twelve step phase] Defense can be good, but it’s not as good as what I’m telling you here. You can take the techniques from the twelve step program [you actually can’t, it’s literally ‘dedicate your life to living under the spiritual principles we lay out, or you can leave on your own accord and try it your way again’] but have the mission to be self actualized. But what you are telling people there is simply wrong. And it’s kind of hurtful to those in AA. And the whole video was great, and I truly respect love and honor you Leo, but I feel as though I have a duty to all those who’ve helped me in twelve steps, almost as if they were giving their life to help save mine, and to carry their message to this other SPIRITUAL group, and correct this incorrect info Leo said in this video. Though Leo and Actualized.org lean far left hand path, and AA more-so the right hand path, let’s look at the similarities...starting with the leaders. One was named Bill Wilson and one is Leo Gura. Both are very into psychedelic compounds. Bill Wilson had his first spiritual awakening with the Belladonna Treatment in a hospital, where he saw a white light and immediately had a spiritual experience while tripping. He immediately wrote down his experience and came up with the program and over half of the twelve steps. He right away began helping people in the very hospital he came in for treatment, and essentially tasted enlightenment. He then went on to HEAVILY experiment with a little known compound called LSD, and tripped numerous times for SPIRITUAL PURPOSES with some of the greatest minds of the time, one being Aldous Huxley, author of The Doors of Perception. Both mess around with consciousness work and mystical experiences. Bill was adept at meditation and was into ouija and channeling, and supposedly channeled the twelve steps from a spirit monk that claimed to be a deceased monk during a seance in his home, he held seances a lot. Bill got into what they called back then “witchcraft”. Both use a triangle as their symbol...which AA describes its spiritual meaning and how each side represents a certain thing. Both groups are just people looking for help, both groups encourage growing to your apex. Idk I’m just trying to say that AA, though a basic spiritual program compared to more left hand paths. He goes on to say “don’t quit ur drug because of a negative reason [trying to say AA gives u a negative reason to quit] you need a positive reason. And the most positive reason is to become self actualized. It’s not about fixing problems it’s about living life to it’s fullest. This is a very different attitude...” AA gives you both. They say if you don’t transform, you will stay stuck in your addiction, and that only leads to jails, institution, insanity, and death. But they literally prove to u how people can come from being so broken to living a truly spiritual life and even help others. It is almost entirely a spirtual, semi religious group, that seems to outsiders like it’s not spirtual, in order to attract people who want nothing to do with God or spirituality (drug addicts) The goal of the program, is FREEDOM. not from just your addiction, but from your ego and negativity. opioids (and to a large part in this order amphetamines/cocaine/prescription pills and alcohol...but especially opioids...) are a HUGE issue in this country, and it’s taking the nation by storm faster than ever before. So when an addict goes to rehab, literally 90% of rehabs say if they want to live, to go to a twelve step meeting the day they get out, to raise their hand and ask for help. There is literally a meeting EVERY SINGLE NIGHT you are forced to attend at the rehab where outside speakers who have been through the twelve steps. I advocate for SMARTrecovery as well, but twelve steps can truly transform you from the inside out if you choose to live by it. This one Leo was totally wrong on and it needed to be addressed. 1. We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. We came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. 4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7. We humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. 8. We made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. 9. We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10. We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. 11. We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Many (especially the younger generation) that have awakened recently seem to have connection to Lemuria and Atlantis because what is happening on the planet as one of the most important times for the collective awakening and expansion of consciousness from 3D to 5D living/understanding that also said happened at those times which (due to technological advancement overpowering spiritual development) lead to almost the destruction of all life on earth. So, many energetic-blueprints from those times are reincarnating in this specific time/space of the "Great Shift" to make sure this time around the transition from darkness to light is successful. This is the reason why millions of people have woken up in such a short period especially in the last 5-10 years more than ever before in our known history. I have and understand this knowledge because i am directly connected to Lemuria and Atlantis as well as the Arcturian Collective. I came to this realization naturally as my awakening came to fruition as well as being told so by a channel which had no knowledge of past life experiences and connections that only confirmed it further. I also channel time to time by self expression and sometimes when the energy is powerful i sway back and forth and my hands and body seem to have a mind of their own and start moving in a wave-like pattern yet have perfect synergy with the vibration of the words spoken and others say they notice a shimmering glow in eyes and aura when this happens. Other times i awaken early from sleep and having all this energy to release and i can write and type things for hours without thought interfering with the process. Sometimes it almost brings me to tears because it is the purest feeling of passionate self expression of source energy, it humbles me beyond words. I am so proud of you all don't let others bring you down or tell you otherwise, you know best. You always did as all comes and came from within. Always has and always will. Love & Light Bless! -
*My awakening experience seems to have a direct correlation with my dietary changes to 100% raw vegan with no cheating. I thought it would be more appropriate to post here since it's about my direct experience. I have currently been 100% for about 1 1/2 months now. I just wanted share my awakening journey to help inspire those around me. I was divinely guided by the spirit world to go raw vegan fruitarian for many years. I did it once before a few years ago and I was raw vegan for 6 months and I reversed my ovarian cysts. I finally took the plunge a month and half ago and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. My depression is diminishing and I’m currently going through a spiritual detox. My thinking, logic and my spiritual connection has strengthened and improved. Old painful memories from the past are coming up in my dreams and I’m being given the opportunity to heal so I can create new abundance in my life. On day 28 of my new diet I had an awakening experience. I was out walking my friend’s dog and my monkey mind shut off for about three hours. Consciousness was experienced and realization of the truth...awareness. Things were complete, whole and at peace. Utter bliss. Problems, stress, worries created by the ego were gone. There was nothingness, and this nothingness gave satisfaction and fulfillment that can not be fulfilled or found through seeking outer experiences. Things were experienced, seen, felt, heard but without expressing opinion or emotion (ego). The ego was gone. The dog would bark at random strangers and the ego would normally get annoyed, but as awareness it was noticed without judgement, emotional output and with indifference. The dog can choose to have it's own experience. Awareness is connected and shared as all one consciousness...it is harmony and it is peace. And that awareness loves and accepts the dog for what it is regardless of it's circumstances. I also wanted to add this.......I (the ego) has been struggling for a long time to find and discover a life purpose. And after having this consciousness experience the spirit world led me to this book by Eckert Tolle called “ A new earth. Awakening your true life purpose.” I knew for a long time the importance of the law of attraction and manifesting your desires but I felt a gut feeling in my stomach that this wasn’t the whole basis of our existence. Something wasn’t right. Yes it is nice to manifest your own reality but I could see as I was cleansing from this detox that my emotions and desires could change instantly at any moment. I also knew that just because you want something and you manifest with the law of attraction it doesn’t mean it will make you happy and fulfill your life. Our ego is a bottomless pit that can never be completely satisfied and is always craving more.... dwelling on the past, and looking too far into the future. When the truth is the present is only thing here to experience and that exists. It is to be appreciated and enjoyed. We are always seeking to fill these gaps and these fears with relationships, addictions, food, money, etc. I was doing this with romantic relationships...I thought I was seeking love but I was really craving an attachment..which isn’t healthy and low vibration. True happiness and success comes from within. I discovered in this new book and through my direct experience that we have two life purposes, an inner purpose and an outer purpose, that are intertwined with each other. The inner purpose ( the primary purpose for everyone) is to become awakened/enlightened to who you really are, consciousness, to get rid of the ego....the end of all suffering. Once you know you are consciousness you can use the law of attraction to manifest abundance but from the right vibration and perspective for your outer purpose. The outer purpose can always change, and be altered, but the inner purpose remains the same. A lot of this may not make sense to you unless you have directly experienced consciousness, the infinite, nothingness, all that is.

@RawJudah That's how the shift happens with any awakened being - the false self collapses, you become disillusioned, you see through the smokescreen of the ego. That's why they call it liberation. You embody what is. And this happens different ways for different people. Nothing to be puzzled about
