Thanks. It is gonna be a hard journey. This all is even a proof that I am not my brain. I am just presence. So it seems like a part is awakened another part is still in denial.

@isabel Mystical experiences are not permanent awakening. Mystical experiences are nice, but you need to go deeper, beyond experience to Truth itself, which is not an experience or a state. There are many depths to how awakened you can be. So always keep boring deeper and deeper. For an awakening to stick, the illusion of self needs to be thoroughly decontructed. It's very common to keep falling back into the illusion because you still haven't fully deconstructed it. -
I love this page because it clearly tells you what the higher self is: https://higherselfteachings.com/about/ "The Higher Self The Higher Self is the super-conscious, higher mind part of ourselves that is the full expression of Divine Love, spiritual wisdom, and creative power. As we work to purify ourselves and remove our egos, we embody more of our eternal self that lives in conscious union with God. Spiritual and religious traditions throughout history have spoken of the Higher Self within each of us. The Christians call it the Holy Spirit. The New Age calls it Christ Consciousness, Over Soul, Monad or Enlightenment. Buddhism labels it Buddha (The Awakened One). Hinduism calls it Atman, the Self or Krishna Consciousness. There are many terms given in various cultures for the same experience. The Higher Self is the direct personal realization and embodiment of the deepest spiritual aspect of ourselves – our Eternal Self that is in conscious union with the Creator God and all of life. Spiritual seekers have consciously sought the Higher Self awakening experience, dedicating lifetimes to spiritual knowledge, personal healing and purification, ecstatic energy promotion and light body activation. Those dedicated enough to the spiritual path and fortunate enough to receive support by Higher Self within and by others, physically and non-physically, were able to reach remarkable spiritual heights. Some of those teachers have changed the course of human history forever. Some of those teachers continue to assist humanity’s growth. When asked “what is enlightenment like?”, many awakened teachers used words like bliss, love, peace, purity, oneness, and God. Some teachers chose to remain silent, conveying that words could never explain this state of Self-realization. To assist the spiritual development of their students, awakened teachers would share verbal and written teachings and deeply tranforming practices like meditation and energy cultivation exercises. Some teachers would even offer direct energy transmissions and empowerments to more quickly purify and advance the students who were ready. The common bond between all Higher Self-awakened teachers was that the teachers would allow the Universal Intelligence and Universal Creative Energy to flow through themselves, unblocked and unchanged by their own personal self. The depths of ego purification in the teachers were great enough to allow the Higher Self to communicate and purify through them, using their human mind-body system as the channel. By surrendering their own self to the Higher Self, the awakened teacher would be of the greatest service to their students. With this understanding in mind and intention at heart, Lincoln Gergar has chosen to surrender himself into the Higher Self to share knowledge, energy, peace and healing to all sincere spiritual seekers who feel drawn to awaken their Higher Self state of consciousness. The Higher Self is within us all. This knowledge, peace and blissful Love is our eternal birthright. With proper guidance any student can be led into their own Spiritual Heart center to awaken their blissful connection to God – the Higher Self. Surrendering in this way returns us to Pure Consciousness, original state of God." We are all seeking to be one with the higher self in this life. And all the is required is to gently focus on the heart (which is the higher self) as much as possible. There are other ways, but this is the one recommended by the higher self because of it's directness.

I wouldn’t worry about wha others say. You don’t know if they have awakened. That would be an assumption. Protecting the body, feeding the body is intelligent action. Whole-infinite action Feeding the ego is a movement of fear, therefore an unintelligent response-reaction to thought. All fueled by the contradiction, confusion, and conflict that is perpetuated by the false notion that the experiencer is seperate from that which it experiences. This is action born of limitation, the finite movement of thought. All the result of not understanding the nature of ego-thought. Keep it simple my man -

@Highest are you enlightened/awakened? also. i am quite new to this stuff... i am gathering info right now so i can guide myself on the path correctly.. but i feel like i keep delaying self-inquiry work which seems to be very important to attain enlightenment/glimpse of it even... but yeah, i am very curious about all this... as it maybe evident with my long posts and many topics i have asked questions in what also blows my mind, that all this meditation / self inquiry etc is all said to be "not required" also by many masters... because it is the "pathless-path" so there is no process to enlightment, it just happens when you just fully let go... i guess meditation assits in letting go.. unsure why masters speak that way... maybe they go back n forth between teaching directly and indirectly with the wording they use -

This stuff is accessible only in the awakened state, or on DMT, LSD, etc. I can share one thing with you. You probably know what OBE is, many people have experienced it. Well the last time I experienced it, I was out of my body for about 5 minutes. I saw myself sleep, I went up to the kitchen, went inside my mother's room and saw her sleep. Then somehow I awake from my sleep, and there I was as this regular body form. After this I was certain that death is an illusion, that the pysical body is just one out of many different dimensions of me. Actually almost nothing is impossible, it is indeed from the point of the limited ego that it seems impossible. The truth is that reality is too great to be limited only to a materialistic existence, only as a body. It is not. -

@Highest hmmm. Thanks Oh. I'm sure whatever you have seen sounds impossible. That's one thing which I don't pay much attention to anymore, the word impossible, since I started on this path. Do share just once aspect if it can be said in words... Just give me the intellectual sweet taste of reality Also, what you speak of here, about what you have "seen" Do u refer to seeing some version of beautiful manifest form or do u speak of something beyond form or accessible in awakened state only? Like stuff on DMT is also what people see and is impossible too But I feel you're talking deeper, kind of what Leo says when he states "what happened to me is impossible" The fact that it clearly happened to him in his experience and yet it is realized as an impossibility (from human/ego point of view) just effin blows my mind and draws me ever so deeply into the wanting to know and experience this for myself . Hopefully I'm still sane after that But jokes on me... I don't exist -

@cetus56 hi question i suppose you're enlightened? or have had awakenings? please answer from what you know either from direct experience or your knowledge this: you said "Nothing changes in reality except for the way you see it." do you mean nothing changes on day-to-day when one is "living in the illusion" yet awake to it... like awake that one is "dreaming" so to speak? so when do those states occur, where one feels infinite love - job - peace - bliss is that a state which someone who is awakened/enlightened goes to when they decide to meditate or be more present? shift back/forth between those states? -

A terrorists/nazis/rapists can transform before their death. Many among us may not have enough energy for any transformation, we continuously drain our energy in doing unnecessary things, thinking unnecessarily. Jesus said,"“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword." ◄ Matthew 10:34 ► Don't think that if you are peaceful, you are a sage. An almost dead person is peaceful, but that is not worth anything; then even war is better because in war you are alive and vital. A totally different dimension of peace exists when you are vital, alive, but centered in your being, you are awakened. When you know that you are not going to hell, and even if you are thrown in hell, even if you are crucified, it will not disturb your peace and blissfulness. -
Rationalism, materialism, scientism, moralism, intellectual crusading, demonization of Islam, duality. Sam Harris is stuck playing the role of an intellectual. The lesser Jihad. All classic traps you should watch out for. Writing a book or talking about spirituality & meditation does not mean one is awakened or has a profound understanding of nonduality. If you're at stage Blue/Orange/Green, Sam Harris might be useful to you. Once you get beyond that, he will hold you back. There's nothing "wrong" with him. He is who he is.

He has not awakened in my opinion. His voice is not deep and harmonious. The awakened ones will be able to professionally sing and articulate a wide spectrum of sound tonalities.

@Alexandar Edwards Your question is coming from a certain level of consciousness: duality. Your question is really about survival, not being or Truth. Survival demands constant manipulation. That is life. Improving society is a function of survival. Think of politics as nothing more than hunting squirrels in the forest to make sure you don't starve to death. That's what government is fundamentally about. There's nothing wrong with improving society, just like there's nothing wrong with hunting squirrels to survive, but there is a meta-issue: your preoccupation with survival is keeping you from realizing that the world is an illusion. What if one day you wake up and realize that all of this work you've been doing to improve society was happening inside a dream state? Such that slavery, racism, evil, nuclear weapons, science, and even your mother and father do not exist because they were just a dream? How silly would you feel then to have worried so much about all that stuff? These are awakened people you are talking about it. To them, reality is just a dream. Nothing is serious. Whatever actions they take to "improve society" is just for shits and giggles. They are shooting at squirrels in the forest just for fun. It's a form of self-amusement. They are detached from it. They would not really care if the entire planet was nuked tomorrow. They would be just as happy. It would not be a problem for them in the same way that seeing the Earth get nuked on TV isn't a problem for you -- because you are conscious it isn't real to begin with. All human suffering is unreal. This kind of level of consciousness is difficult to fathom for someone who has not awoken from the dream. It is unimaginable that this could be possible. The reason an enlightened sage is good at helping people is because he is already dead inside. There is nothing for him to fear or lose. The world does not need improving, yet there is nothing else to really do here but help improve the world. That is the paradox. But you won't understand this at stage Green. You need some enlightenment experiences to understand it. P.S. Morality is a function of survival. Not Truth. The ultimate truth is, there are no problems whatsoever and evil doesn't exist. Yes... detachment is a very radical and counter-intuitive thing. P.P.S. Advanced sages don't usually come out and say this so bluntly because they would be crucified by ignorant people for saying such things.

This is true only for the dormant. The awakened ones will do without needing to fulfill the EGO's desires of helping other people to feel a need or to fulfill a life. Helping will only fulfill the EGO mind. On the other hand, when awakening comes into place, then helping others is a byproduct not a goal.

People misunderstand blissfulness. The pain will not cease to exist, the anger, the frustration. But for the awakened ones, they are blissful even in rage. Duality is being positive or negative all the time. Transcendence is to integrate both polarities, see the world from the 3rd perspective, then go higher into a 4th, after is infinite. So the key is 1st chakra (red pill), and all the negative and positive will pass through there and will reach the brain in a state of bliss rather than anxiety. This happens after the healing of the body. Maybe some will take 2-5 years or for others decades. Depending on how much one is willing to go to the inner personal world and rewind all the traumas and dramas. Only after the integration and understanding of the personal traumas, one will be totally different and see, feel, etc the world as it is. It is easy to see the truth of reality using drugs but is not easy to heal the body and achieve the same levels of consciousness or even higher in a natural, awake state, being in trance at the same time and function day by day. -
I am making a big leap tomorrow that I've been holding off. I am transitioning to become a Breatharian, only drinking urine, and a tea at night. I am coming completely offline in response to the high heart rates I'm having which is my body telling me that being here is separating me further from God. In addition in a recent transmission from the blue avians, they have said that especially technology, but also lots of other distractions and addictions such as food, is moving us away from the centre of our beings, our hearts, and that we need to just let go of it for our own good. If there is someone I need to talk to, I will walk to their home if necessary, and feel the air on my skin, and the sun on my face as I do so. I am also dedicating most of my day to formal meditation upon my heart, because I desire to end this suffering my mind is creating, and be in a constant state of bliss. When I know a constant state of bliss is possible, and that meditation is the only way to get there on the deepest level, I just can't not meditate, it would be insane for me to not prioritise meditation as the number one most important thing for me to do. Of course, I use meditation as a tool to become truly enlightened and won't be doing it for decades of my life for the whole day, but I'm willing to commit to most of my day for the next few years in meditation. I have set up a beautiful and calm environment in my bedroom to do this, with soundproofing on my door, some house plants, lots of crystals and inspiring books I've read to make my room conducive for this deep work. This is my greatest dream, and if my family can't even allow me one room to actualise this dream then I will go to this retreat centre nearby: http://medini.dhamma.org Here are some pictures: http://medini.dhamma.org/centre-2/. The centre is deep in the woods, in natural scenery, and it seems just lovely. If these guys do not accept me there are many more forest temples a few hours south of where I am that I can stay at for a few years Likely I will end up here, as I need to be able to concentrate for long hours on my heart, but I'm open to giving it a go at home. My life purpose has always been to experience God on the deepest level possible, and then to express his love purely and effortlessly through myself. It confuses me why other people who are twice my age still haven't understood this, that the heart is the key to end suffering. Why do they so stay within the limitations of their mind? I want to help them, once I'm fully in the heart. There is little point teaching someone how to get into the heart from the limitations of the mind I feel. So I am going to enjoy my last meal tonight with my Mum, and Grandparents; and my last moment of allowing myself to be anywhere but the heart. For tomorrow I will focus on the heart and stay there for all of eternity, even once I've awakened from the dream will my focus be there. I will not eat ever again, for I am fully feed and satiated by the love within my heart. Our potential as human beings is far greater than what we imagine, and I am excited to be maybe one of the first modern explorers of those deepest layers. We live but in a 3rd dimensional reality, animals live in the 2nd dimension, and I want to explore greater than the 11th dimension, to a place where there is only love, such that even the reality of "dimensions" does not exist. We have all of this and more already inside our hearts, just waiting to be explored through the simple act of placing our attention on it. When at the highest level there is only love, why not just focus on love? That's why this practice is simple, because there can be no other practice but the experience of love in the highest realms of this reality. Thats's why love is always the only answer. Acting from the heart, embracing separation from the heart; and making being in the heart the highest priority, so that it eventually becomes the only priority, and then, all you do. You can still be in the heart and live in this world, there is no implication, for the hearts intelligence will speak every word for you, guide you in every step, all without thoughts and emotions which are so used to being slaves of. For we become the heart, and so too, we become it's intelligence in it's full glory. And when I feel my heart, and when I meditate, I will continue to remind myself that any resistance I feel when focusing on oneness could only be the healing of the inner child within, whose prison of conditioning is dissolving by the love I allow to flow through myself. When focused on love, all of the lower dimensional frequencies in ourselves are brought to light, and we experience them as they are being healed, and released, this there is nothing to be afraid of, only infinite gifts to bless as they leave and return to the source from whence they came. I'll remember this while feeling these frequencies leave, and know them as gifts of deep inner healing. And so I'm free; goodbye everyone; love you. Use this journal for wisdom, I'll keep writing in it for as long as people are benefiting from it, and moving more into the oneness and love that they already are. I too use what I write to keep me grounded, some of the stuff comes from a part of myself that is much more intelligent, which I'm moving into, so in effect, it's been really helpful in guiding "me" (as the personal self) as well God Bless guys.

yes i agree. this is a very deep knowing indeed unsure about the awakened state but the ego-states during the search... those can be scary with this take someone going thru a negative trip or even a negative time in general the depression feeds of the negative emotion... and since we manifest that emotion which we feel, the incredibly dense negative emotions compound and multiply and increase exponentially so when one asks/thinks "can it get any worse?" it actually freekin does! lame but real example, let's say if we can quantify pain somehow... like if someone was feeling the pain of 1000 bee stings and they feel can it get any worse... that pain level will increase from 1000 to 10,000 to 100,000 and so on... without end and awareness being what it is, WILL BE AWARE OF EACH OF THOSE INCREMENTS.... that's why people who get stuck in those hellish trips.. they really truly are in hell... seems like eternity also! -
Hi everyone, I hope you can give me some input on a crisis I find myself in. Over the last year I have been pursuing enlightenment with increasing intensity. It has ended up being the singular purpose of my life and other parts of my life have dropped away (social life, creative pursuits, etc). Following a brief period of kriya yoga, my kundalini awakened in mid-May and since then kundalini craziness has ensued. I was feeling an intuitive pull towards celibacy, particularly after my kundalini awakened, which has led to the end of my relationship - the most wonderful thing in my life, just perfect. Now that’s ended I am finding myself in a very scary place. I have emptied my life so much, so fast, that it seems completely meaningless. I’m absolutely heartbroken from my breakup. Everything I used to enjoy is gone and I am completely alone (except my family, who are very supportive). I’ve had suicidal thoughts. It’s been too fast, too dramatic, too intense. I want to take my foot off the pedal a bit, and am considering trying to patch things back up with my girl and take it easy on the monasticism and practices (while still embracing the kundalini awakening, of course). At the same time I don’t want to fuck up my opportunity for awakening. Has anyone got any advice for me?

Deities are idealistic forms of the mind, nothing more. Any natural, simple, awakened human being is superior to any Deity. -
The Five Gates Surely our eyes are aflutter with light Yet the thunder resounding, escapes from their sight Our ears are awakened to the slightest of sounds But a smile from a friend, it can nary be found To see, to hear, to taste, and to touch Each sense being bound by its own design, inasmuch To know only itself, and to all else be blind Circumscribed in its view, by its own nature confined Knit within the body wherein our souls now reside Five fountains of knowledge, so defining our lives How much more of the world might there really be If between light and sound, we had senses to see Could it be then that this world, is more whole and complete Awash by all the Heavens, replete with many angels just out of reach And these gates we supposed, would enlighten our minds Are forever blind to the prose, as they can discern only rhyme And the soul that we are, and its form in between Cast down and out of Eden, into darkness unseen To sweat and to toil, beneath the shadow of death And its many sins presumed hidden, by this mantle of flesh Will in death find greater dimension, from the senses then released Freed from this worlds subtractions, so will our vision greatly increase And our judgment revealed upon us, as we see though different eyes Naked have we been all our lives, and likewise, our motives and our lies So then who is more blind, than the man who can see Lost within a forest, so he perceives only leaves Who is more empty, than the man who thinks himself full And who is more wise, than the senseless old fool

No afterlife, no hell, those notions are to scare the dormant to not become awakened. To maintain them in sleep and wait to die so they receive a reward, the most stupid thing humanity invented. -
tsuki replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MarkusSweden From my point of view, material reality is perspective-independent. You can apply many perspectives on top of it and you will get different results depending on the definition of the current perspective. When your mind becomes open enough so that you do not fear ambiguity, you can inspect your models of reality closely to see that they are, in fact, hollow. Words have many different meanings and if you do not inspect them, you may run into a trap of thinking that your models are reality. The moment that you think that something is obvious is the moment that you missed your judgement. The same reasoning applies to prediction of people's motivation. People do hings for all kinds of reasons and assuming upfront that they are stupid is the expression of your model of society. You should learn your own stupidity, so that the word 'stupid' becomes emotionally neutral. It has to stops meaning 'the other person'. Learning all of the wicked sides of your personality is a very potent equalizer of judgement. There is no such thing as collective unconscious in reality. Perhaps I have not yet awakened to the degree you have been describing. This is why material world has to be perspective-neutral. The state of consciousness cannot be something externally observable. This is why spiral dynamics is cyclic. There is no way to tell from your perspective whether somebody else is lower or higher than you. You can only tell whether they are on even, or on odd stage (with respect to you), but never if they are lower or higher. The world is relative to perspective you have and perspectives are disjoint. I think that judgement of others is self-miscommunication. A lack of mastery of the mind. Unfortunate, but common. Not perfect, but essentially unknowable. Saying something about somebody else is an expression of your understanding of the world. Negative judgement is an expression of misaligned perspectives. I do. This is a clue however. The one-eyedness is the reason of ambiguity. Instead of saying that it is a flaw, embrace it to become free. True freedom lies in perfect balance. Not a balance on top of a mountain so that a small wind tips you over to fall. It is a balance in a valley. A beach ball does not care for storm, as it is all the same to it which direction is up and which is down. It is not stable, nor unstable. It is a neutral balance. (See the article) -
AdamDiC replied to Viking's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Viking It's not that young people can't get enlightened, it's just that in most cases their ego's are too big that they are blocking the path. It happens to be that as you grow up on the path you become more spiritually mature and your ego is easier to let go and transcend. Bigger ego's = hard to enlighten. Reduced ego, humble ego, wise ego = smooth enlightenment. Even if you do have a surprise awakening like many people do, if your ego is unprepared then you will suffer greatly. Enlightenment is a very holistic pursuit, it is not a side hobby or interest. It is your life. You have to gather all your knowledge from all spands fo life (relationships, diet, work..) to have a full awakening and maintain it. It is easy to have a few experiences then say you know everything. It is healthy to want to become awakened, just be aware that the you don't want awakening because it is the end of everything you hold deeply, and that drive might change over time and even disappear. My advice, keep reading, meditating, do some shrooms or LSD. The path is infinite. But one day at a time.
