  1. @Shakazulu be sure to check out this technique. You can reach full enlightenment with it:
  2. Buddha’s early life Greco-buddhist representation of Buddha Shakyamuni from the ancient region of Gandhara, eastern Afghanistan. Greek artists were most probably the authors of these early representations of the Buddha. India at the time of the Buddha was very spiritually open. Every major philosophical view was present in society, and people expected spirituality to influence their daily lives in positive ways. At this time of great potential, Siddhartha Gautama, the future Buddha, was born into a royal family in what is now Nepal, close to the border with India. Growing up, the Buddha was exceptionally intelligent and compassionate. Tall, strong, and handsome, the Buddha belonged to the Warrior caste. It was predicted that he would become either a great king or spiritual leader. Since his parents wanted a powerful ruler for their kingdom, they tried to prevent Siddharta from seeing the unsatisfactory nature of the world. They surrounded him with every kind of pleasure. He was given five hundred attractive ladies and every opportunity for sports and excitement. He completely mastered the important combat training, even winning his wife, Yasodhara, in an archery contest. Suddenly, at age 29, he was confronted with impermanence and suffering. On a rare outing from his luxurious palace, he saw someone desperately sick. The next day, he saw a decrepit old man, and finally a dead person. He was very upset to realize that old age, sickness and death would come to everyone he loved. Siddharta had no refuge to offer them. The next morning the prince walked past a meditator who sat in deep absorption. When their eyes met and their minds linked, Siddhartha stopped, mesmerized. In a flash, he realized that the perfection he had been seeking outside must be within mind itself. Meeting that man gave the future Buddha a first and enticing taste of mind, a true and lasting refuge, which he knew he had to experience himself for the good of all. Buddha’s enlightenment The Buddha decided he had to leave his royal responsibilities and his family in order to realize full enlightenment. He left the palace secretly, and set off alone into the forest. Over the next six years, he met many talented meditation teachers and mastered their techniques. Always he found that they showed him mind’s potential but not mind itself. Finally, at a place called Bodhgaya, the future Buddha decided to remain in meditation until he knew mind’s true nature and could benefit all beings. After spending six days and nights cutting through mind’s most subtle obstacles, he reached enlightenment on the full moon morning of May, a week before he turned thirty-five. At the moment of full realization, all veils of mixed feelings and stiff ideas dissolved and Buddha experienced the all-encompassing here and now. All separation in time and space disappeared. Past, present, and future, near and far, melted into one radiant state of intuitive bliss. He became timeless, all-pervading awareness. Through every cell in his body he knew and was everything. He became Buddha, the Awakened One. After his enlightenment, Buddha traveled on foot throughout northern India. He taught constantly for forty-five years. People of all castes and professions, from kings to courtesans, were drawn to him. He answered their questions, always pointing towards that which is ultimately real. Throughout his life, Buddha encouraged his students to question his teachings and confirm them through their own experience. This non-dogmatic attitude still characterizes Buddhism today. “I can die happily. I have not kept a single teaching hidden in a closed hand. Everything that is useful for you, I have already given. Be your own guiding light.” – The Buddha, while leaving his body at the age of eighty
  3. http://www.eastern-spirituality.com/glossary/spirituality-terms/m-definitions/mahasamadhi Mahasamādhi Completion of the final incarnation of a realized being. Mahasamādhi (the great and final samādhi) is the act of consciously and intentionally leaving one's body. A realized yogi (male) or yogini (female) who has attained the state of nirvikalpa samadhi, will, at an appropriate time, consciously exit from their body. This is known as mahasamadhi. This is not the same as the physical death that occurs for an unenlightened person. Enlightened yogis take their mahasamadhi during their final practice of samadhi: and they expire during this final sadhana practice. Therefore, mahasamadhi occurs only once in a lifetime, when the yogi finally casts off their mortal frame and their karma is extinguished upon death. An enlightened or realized yogi is one who has attained the nondual state of nirvikalpa samadhi where duality of subject and object are resolved and the yogi becomes permanently established in the unity of full enlightenment (Videha mukti). Each realized yogi enters and prepares for mahasamadhi in a unique fashion. Sushila Blackman (1997) furnishes a number of examples.
  4. thats conceptualizations. Jesus showed us the direct path This is stream-entry in Buddhism, Jesus has achieved first self-realization here, Kundalini had bursted through his head and his consciousness localization has escaped his head. Holy Spirit is descending energy that make us enlightened. After his consciousness localization escaped his head and became everywhere, he is vulnerable and open to this world's energetic stream. But eventually after 40 days he won over temptations and had enlightenment. First dhyana in Buddhism. Or in other words 'born to soul' - end of psychological suffering, fears, doubts, feeling of eternity, bliss, love etc. Ego had started to crumble. Mind is almost silent. But its not yet end of the game. He then spends 2 or 3 years being active in the world - it is karma yoga, jnani yoga and bhakti yoga. After first dhyana - ego is still subtly present and can eat your soul and make you a zen devil if you are not mindful enough and follow your spiritual ego's will instead of surrendering fully to God's will. (this is something many enlightened people do these days - they become super-happy after first dhyana and just do whatever their spiritual ego wants. That can make you stuck for ages. Even chosen ones will be deceived (c) jesus). Throughout his teachings his power to perform miracles has become more and more - it means he eventually reached 4-5-6th dhyana (full enlightenment = infinite consciousness) and maybe even till 9th the last dhyana (Buddhahood = cessation of perceptions). Who knows - but full Buddhahood wasn't his mission. He didn't teach how to escape the world like Buddha but he teach what actually to do in this world and what is going to happen. 4-5th dhyanas are where as Buddha said superpowers might be obtained. So Jesus became conscious of absolute of atman=brahman. 'I am and Father is ONE' (c) Jesus. Mind that he said 'I and God is One'. Not I am God as many enlightened people do these days. That ideas can only boost ego. This is the most important thing here. We tend to think that Jesus taught enlightenment and thats it. No, Jesus taught beyond enlightenment, Jesus taught divinization of the matter! Descendance of heaven into earth. Jesus taught how to give birth to your new supramental body that will then live in actual 'Kingdom of God'! Because quantum leap of evolution = Judgement Day is going to happen that will change Earth. Sri Aurobindo is the only one who really understood that among all the new teachers. So total surrender to God's will + constantly work on diminshing ego after first enlightenment are the keys. He actually resurrected, not metaphorically, he gave birth to his new light body.
  5. Not too much. It will naturally happen within the next few centuries as society evolves. All this information will become freely available to all human beings, ultimately. But not in this lifetime. I have little interest in waging a war inside of academia. That is a painful bureaucratic game. Although someone will eventually have to fight it. But that is not my life purpose. 1) Camera makes it look that way 2) These days, very few. I'm sort of outgrowing books. Most of my time is going into spiritual practices instead. It's very hard to find a book these days which doesn't seem like delusion, trivia, or something I already know. 3) Most days I meditate for more than an hour. I try to do at least 2 hours (if you include yoga and various other techniques I do). I'm not sure why you're making philanthropy a stage. It's no more a stage than being a cowboy is stage. There's nothing wrong with philanthropy, and I'm sure it could grow you in many ways, but it is in no way necessary. If you are attracted to philanthropy, then it's probably part of your Life Purpose, in which case, knock yourself out. For me, the influence I already have is enough. If anything, I spend too much of my time helping people. The next stage for me would be to go totally solo, yogi-in-a-cave-style. First, create a hopeful vision for my life Totally clean up my diet Exercise Bloodwork to make sure there aren't any chemical/vitamin/hormone problems Get a qEEG and schedule neurofeedback brain training Holotrophic breathwork Psychedelics Kriya yoga Nathaniel Branden's self-esteem exercises Reading lots of self-help books and implementing the various exercises given there Finding my Life Purpose and aligning myself with it Solo meditation retreats I don't practice that technique much. About an hour. That's a complicated question to answer. People can use those terms differently. Psyche is basically your entire mind. The ego. The self-mind. All of your thoughts and emotions and how they manipulate you into action. Consciousness and awareness are largely synonymous. Although some teachers will use those words in a more technical manner and draw fine distinctions. Consciousness/awareness is the only thing that exists. It is the substance of everything you've ever experienced. Replace your notion of "matter/energy/physics" with consciousness. Yes, it was a culture shock. It was challenging and definitely forged my psyche and persona in deep ways. Perhaps the most important thing it did was make me much more openminded. I saw the relativity of all cultural norms quite quickly as a result. Although I still didn't go far enough into realizing that physical reality is itself a cultural invention. No Hilo Hawaii isn't touristy. Just the opposite. It's important to know who the Admin and Mods are. Sorry, trade secret I have tried LOTS of stuff with little success. I think my issue ultimately boils down to a blocked chakra, which I will work to clear using various techniques. I think the issue should resolve itself with full enlightenment. I will shoot a video in the future about how to deal with chronic fatigue and thyroid issues. There's a lot to say. It's a very complex topic with many variables to consider. It's highly individualized. Autoimmune issues have many factors. One solution does not cure everyone. Maybe this one: https://www.actualized.org/articles/increase-your-results-from-self-help-products-by-10x It's an old one, but the info there is life-changing if implemented. It's actually impossible to construct a nondual language because all language is symoblic, and therefore indirect, and therefore dualistic. There is no language at the level of nonduality. No, I'm not interested in language. I am interested in escaping language. All language is a human invention and not fundamental. Faster? Sounds like you're already going fast. You've only seem the tip of the iceberg of crazy It's gonna get worse before it gets better, so buckle up and set proper expectations and have a long time horizon. All your fears -- all the stuff you can't stand, all your worse nightmares -- you must eventually face on this path. There is no way around it. You must face death itself. You must be willing to surrender EVERYTHING! Ultimately you will discover that all fear is just a hollow illusion. Your very death is just a sham. Your life is nothing but a dream, and all your problems are dream-problems, like the problems of a character in a cartoon. He's a great teacher.
  6. I have had my most potent awakenings on psychedelics. All of them felt at the time as full enlightenment of the Truth, but none of them stuck past the trip. After a while it seems like a crutch to keep taking them. On the plus side, those experiences have helped me navigate my meditations in sober consciousness a great deal. I no longer need methods provided by teachers or formal practices, I can instead take a very direct and personal approach through following what I followed during those trips to reach the highest states.
  7. I want to raise the collective awareness about the path of Enlightenment. What is the culmination of this path really? What do yogi's do? What do they keep in secret from us? I suspect @Leo Gura knows much more then he is willing to share atm(I don't criticize). There could be some very dark sides to the path of Enlightenment which won't be so marketable. But Leo... isn't it time for a honest talk? I mean not through the youtube channel but at least with our community on this forum who followed you since the first days. What is the ultimate ending of this path which you keep repeating "You can't even imagine how deep it goes". Share with us the whole story even if it is the nightmare. Time to open the secrets... We have right to know the truth... Then we make a right decision. I was very concerned about the last topic opened by someone where he was talking about ending his life. He was extremely deluded and someone must stop him! I don't like where this all is going to. We need to raise awareness till it's too late. When to stop and how to stop... What are the dangers of this path??? Why nobody talks about the dark sides...! Why nobody talks about major pitfalls and fatal delusions? What is Mahāsamādhi? According to wikipedia: "Mahāsamādhi (the great and final samādhi) is the act of consciously and intentionally leaving one's body.[1][2] A realized yogi (male) or yogini (female) who has attained the state of nirvikalpa samādhi, will, at an appropriate time, consciously exit from their body. This is known as mahāsamādhi. This is not the same as the physical death that occurs for an unenlightened person. Enlightened yogis take their mahāsamādhi during their final practice of samādhi: and they expire during this final sādhanā practice. Therefore, mahāsamādhi occurs only once in a lifetime, when the yogi finally casts off their mortal frame and their karma is extinguished upon death. An enlightened or realized yogi is one who has attained the nondual state of nirvikalpa samadhi where duality of subject and object are resolved and the yogi becomes permanently established in the unity of full enlightenment (Videha mukti). Each realized yogi enters and prepares for mahāsamādhi in a unique fashion." Why gurus and spiritual teachers don't talk about it? Maybe because then Enlightenment becomes not too marketable?! But we all deserve to know the Truth... How does Enlightenment change your life really? What does true kundalini awakening impose on you?
  8. @Joseph Maynor who told you Enlightenment is my only goal. Hell no! I’m gonna live every possible good and interesting lives before my full Enlightenment. I have nowhere to hurry - I have all the time in the universe up my sleeves
  9. Full Enlightenment is not a state, it's permanent. You're just as Enlightened when you're sitting on the toilet as you are when you drop 5-MeO-DMT.
  10. This is what some people fail to understand. All full enlightenment is is the death of the I-thought (plus deconditioning of old habits.) It doesn't mean "your" body dies. Your body lives in the natural state. Was Jesus not fully enlightened when he taught? How about Buddha? How about Ramana Maharshi or others of that caliber? How does this even make sense to people?
  11. Historically speaking, full enlightenment is rare, true. That changed after the 2012 Awakening. The process is taking off exponentially. Within 6 years what used to be atypical will be, if not common, considerably less rare. I have no idea what that means. Fragmentation is only possible because of the I-thought. No I-thought, no ability for fragmentation to persist. There is nothing for the fragment to attach to. True, but rapidly changing. To get that fundamental change the I-thought must go. That happens at full enlightenment, not first stage enlightenment.
  12. That’s a legit fear. This is my take. Always be humble about Enlightenment. It’s easy to delude yourself that you’ve reached the summit only to find out that the spiritual ego is clinging on for dear life. Full Enlightenment is the total surrender of the Ego. It’s letting ALL of it go. That’s kind of a tricky thing to “do” because it’s not a doing! It’s a constant resting as awareness. It’s a being. I know we say this stuff and it sounds like general cliches — but when you get to the advanced stages, this stuff is the most concise, literal advice you could receive on these matters.
  13. Full enlightenment is very rare, inward journey needs great patience. The journey is vast, and you cannot be in a hurry. If you are in a hurry, if you are in haste, you will never know the taste of meditation. One cannot predict when it will come. Only one thing can be said categorically, that if you are impatient it will not come. The more impatient you are for it, the less is the possibility, and if you are patient, it is bound to come. The more patient you are, the closer it is.
  14. I'm going to make a bold prediction. Most of the regulars here will be at LOC 1000 (full enlightenment) within 5 years. (This is a conservative estimate.) By "most", I mean "anyone who is even a bit openminded that such a thing is possible." So basically, just enjoy life and don't take it all too seriously. Meditate if you like it, do yoga or self-inquiry if you like it, but most importantly just keep an open mind that you will be fully enlightened in a matter of years. (I ain't bullshittin', totally serious here.)
  15. If I'm not mistaken, "headlessness" is a metaphor for the "full enlightenment" state, The Absolute, LOC 1000. The I-thought no longer arises, so there isn't a "subject" paying attention to an "object." There is attention without one attending and another being attended to. This is all on the existential level. Intellectual powers remain as before so in a sense, everything is "the same."
  16. This is an excellent question, Markus. The best way to explain it is to say that your current LOC is the limiting factor in how much shadow work can be done, but also it's good to do as much of it as it will allow you. When you get to LOC 1000, i.e. "full enlightenment", the shadow work will still not be complete, but the process of shadow integration will proceed on its own, effortlessly and spontaneously. This is why no I-thought doesn't mean "sahaja." See, the basic idea is that the more "ego" you have (i.e. the lower the LOC) the more the ego resists integrating the shadow. The ego is all about safety, defenses, maintaining boundaries. The ego is "what we THINK we are" The shadow is "what we THINK others/'everything not us' is." (And by this I do not mean intellectual understanding or belief, but actual existential frame of reference: how you spontaneously, unconsciously perceive.) Since full enlightenment is Everything is The Self, i.e. no separation, that realization will work towards full integration. It just doesn't bestow it automatically.
  17. @Charlotte Enlightened people(myself included) often know how hard it is to get to full enlightenment. Here are some crucial factors.. *Dedication, you must be a discipline and a fully dedicated once. Women haven't that capability for obvious reasons (They are good with other things thought) *Time, financial freedom. You must have independence of some sort, both socially but most important financially. Now you own your time and meditation sessions. If I see a low life girl working a uneducated 9-5 job, well, no offence, but she will not make it, it's not about arrogance. *You must have good genetic share in genetic lottery. Obviously women are not suited for this, even if there's exceptions. Buddha, Jesus, Muhammed, Ramana Maharashi, Kirsnamurti, Osho, Sadhuru, etc etc are men and men only. So, good luck all, I wish you good luck, but I don't invest a single minute in it because I don't believe in it, and therefore I might look and behave like an arrogant prick.
  18. @MarkusSweden no, true love and heaven are the biggest things of reality as far as I can imagine. and maybe even god = love. absolute truth might tell u all you need to know but also it won't really tell you how it all works really. so you will know u are god but u won't know the mystery behind the manifested creation or uncreation. how big bang started etc etc.. so what if all is dream? as long as you are being you still have something that pushes you to go on. even if you are being absolute god. even if u see all as illusion. something pushes u.... once you have absolute truth, theres no more fear, life, you, duality, death. What then that thing that really makes you to doubt killing yourself? If u realize there is no you, death, life, and all illusion. What makes u to still doubt that really? You might say you have love which will push you through life. and also higher purpose stemming from love, which is helping others (going to heavens) coz otherwise u don't really have to live right? so, if you think about it, once you have divine true love and heaven, imagine what you gonna do next? (we can speak about heaven as higher realm OR as something that can emerge on earth when humanity will evolve their bodies consciously) ok maybe deep inside you can't really settle yet unless you saved everyone else, even demons in hell. you also need to save all the aliens and any entities in the universe. there's just something pushes you to go and save them. maybe thats love n truth, maybe thats love n truth + some secret? so what is that secret? lets say you already have full enlightenment, you know you are god, you are love. but one thing u don't know is some mystical secret of how exactly you came to be. coz u can be god, buddhahood, but how it all happened really? u don't need to know that. but still something pushes u to go on living, maybe there's something which can be known. maybe its not enough to say that nothing ever happened or that its just is. so lets say you saved all of them, that will probably take infinity, and lets say you all are in the highest possible heavens now and thats the only thing left. there you will already be something other than current human or current soul then what? I guess once thats done, you will see how heavens emerges into singularity, and how you became god and created yourself and all there is, how big bang occurred, atoms occurred, how you dreamt this whole myths, how life on earth appeared, and how one cell organisms became Marcus after billion years! coz there is hero's journey which is central topic of all stories, where hero saves everyone because of love and higher purpose. hero always driven by love, salvation, purpose (immortality or gold or god or saving others) but I think this trinity together make ups something more, something bigger that pushes him to do all of that. coz purpose and saving is in future, love is in present. but what exactly kicks you in the butt to do anything and doubt just killing urself? coz sometimes u have no purpose, no love, no need to save. no fear of death.no meaning. but something still wants this whole show to go on. u commit suicide and be no more. but maybe.. u will just be born again and play it again from worse realms... think why suicide considered as the biggest sin.. u can die naturally.. but maybe u will born again.. u can escape samsara.. but buddha didn't say he will or he won't reappear, because there is no u to escape something. but infinite stream of consciousness is what u are so maybe the motive of heaven is real thing. maybe motive of merging into singularity is real thing and maybe u complete circle anyhow, u will be there in the end anyhow. its not up to u maybe! but the difference is that u can hold back or go forward. if u hold back u suffer more. if u go on then less probably. maybe thats all difference that there is. but everyone will merge into singularity anyhow. what this thing is? Maybe its that secret which cannot be known unless you complete full circle of infinity. maybe you are continuing your life only because otherwise you will stop before you became god, so nothing will be created! you have longing to understand that. if you still being you got to become that. if you no more, if you are in non-existence, void. then nothing was created really because world stopped for you. then theres no questions anyway. maybe u can just have absolute truth and escape all the non-sense of going in this endless cycles. but maybe u can't? maybe u need to make circle and u will do it, want it or not? in our case u got to make infinite circle, because you cannot settle for less if you are god. if you settle for less and have love and heavens you will see that there are more callings. these callings will push you to do more until infinity, until even satan is saved thats hercules going to olimp, he can't stop making his 12 deeds until he is god again maybe jesus did full infinite circle? thats where his knowledge stems from I can have love and heaven, I can have no fear. I still can kill myself why not, I might even see everything as illusion, so why I am still here? maybe thats why evolution of consciousness is important. it is to make a circle. and then u create the world like u want and it will have no suffering to begin with. maybe u will make up some new game or some next level and so on till infinity. it will be even better. 'u create ur own reality' goes on new lvl of understanding. sorry for that perverted imagination. but what if thats how it works. strange loop makes sense now. oh my goshhhh
  19. Congrats to your awakening. Be careful doe. You haven't reached full enlightenment yet. Not even close. You have just gotten the invitation to the party. You are in the no-mind state rn. Your next enlightenment will be the all-mind-state, then the GOD-mind state ... and then in the end you uncontract fully and even then you only mastered one element of enlightenment (although most teachers these days don't even get to that). After that there's a lot of more stuff to do, if you want. See it this way, you've been thrown into a new world, yes that's for sure. But you are a baby in this new world and there's lots to explore in it. So find out and have fun.
  20. @Mighty Mouse do you really want that full enlightenment? most seekers will be happy to be in some nondual state that feels fulfilled, peaceful, and where suffering from body/mind identification doesn't exist anymore. n i think its totally fine. i don't see why anyone can crave for more unless they are very hardcore fans of true nature of reality, i think 90% of truth-seeking only exist from sense of unfulfillment
  21. I’ve been doing kriya yoga for around two months. The goal is not to ‘open’ any chakras. Basically, there is an energy called Kundalini which is trapped in the muladhara chakra for most people. The goal of Kriya yoga is to return that energy to the sahasrara chakra. That requires opening the chakras so that the kundalini can travel through them to the sahasrara chakra. When that happens, you will get full enlightenment (sahaja samadhi), and you will be feeling blissful and ecstatic every moment of your life. You will gain 100% emotional mastery and wisdom over everything. That is where we kriyabans are aiming for. As for changes, I’m already feeling a sense of peace and calmness around my body which was definetly not there before. That’ because I’ve started to open my bhrumadhya chakra. Once the bhrumadhya chakra is fully open, you will feel very peaceful. In order to return my energy to sahasrara, I’m looking at years of yoga.
  22. I want to share with you an insight about what is courage that I had a few days ago. Courage at its root is a result of a desidentification with your ego (body and mind). If you don't associate yourself with body and mind there's nothing to fear. Absolute courage is only attainable by full enlightenment. But in normal life we see people that are not enlightened but still have a lot of courage in them. That's because some people are more capable then other to desidentify with their ego in dangerous/challenging (not necessarily fisically, it can also be psicologically dangerous/challenging) situations. The more actualized and less egocentric is the person, the less this person fears. Give your thoughts on this little insight that I had.
  23. I think we're all very much confused about different stages of enlightenment. People here are not sure what is full enlightenment and what is not full, how many stages there are, what is considered as truth and what is not yet truth, is truth the final thing or are there stages beyond truth when truth becomes even more true. Seems like this causes many debates here about 'this guy is enlightened and this guy isn't', I think good terminology and distinction of stages is what we lack. Seems like there are many stages, but even experienced seekers and teachers do not seem to make sense and describe what are those stages and are there stages at all. I don't get this awakening within park and awakening from the park, and coming back to park distinction. It'll be awesome if Leo you can make a video about it, or maybe vlog, or even answer it here. Thanks
  24. This is typical dark night of the soul stuff and is unavoidable for serious progress. Congratulations on your progress! The rule is: It gets worse before it gets better... Always. Are you willing to swallow the "worse" period? That is the question. Damn right it is. Im sorry for your pain. May you be blessed with joy bliss extasy and love. The rule of the thumb is that noone who achieved full enlightenment is gonna tell you: "Oh I felt ok for a long period of time and then I gont enlightened." Hell no! Its more like "Yeah I felt terror, was pretty sure I was insane for a few years, I could barely function and then my redemption dawned." The human unconsciousness is real. The human pain is real. Very real. There is only one question. Are you willing to take it?
  25. should have gone for the $60 version, you'd probably have reached full enlightenment by now
