  1. massive buildup of bullshit in the mind...got freedom from that. still got more work to do What I finally realized that your mind has to be or your mindset has to be happy, open, empty, positive all the time in life no matter whatever conditions you're living in, no matter how bad your life is, no matter how unsuccessful you're, your mindset at any given time and in every moment has to be happy, empty, open, free and positive. what's the worst that can happen in life....nothing...or nothing big...it's just another illusion born out of fear that something big will happen but actually nothing big will happen...it's only self limiting belief..learn to let go My fingers hurt so much with all this typing... But I go on typing because my mind keeps racing like a Mack Truck. "Love" therapy It's all about general transcendence. Spirituality is not ultimate In everything and almost everything, even in spirituality for that matter, in every situation, therapy, techniques, follow the "dos" and "donts " very carefully and balance these two to achieve maximum benefit out of the given methods or concepts without letting it cause any loss or damage by carefully avoiding the "donts" .....every technique and system always has its own set of dos and donts and its own set of pros and cons. You just have to avoid the cons and take the pros... this only leads to the realization or conclusion that nothing is absolute or perfect. Everything is just a blend of good and bad and you have to take in the good and avoid the bad. We're always looking at the perceived reality. Going beyond that means breaking this transparent screen of reality and seeing awareness, the reality which always escapes us pretty much like in this picture where people are looking at a screen they think is reality. Reality: The transparent screen of awareness where life plays out, but which we don't seem to notice. Now I am fully ready with my spiritual arsenal. I will call it my little spiritual bundle which I will use everyday for my growth in the spiritual direction. I have 11 different things in my bundle I could try to excel spiritually. I am glad I found my niche after 2 years of intense searching. I will try each one of these things everyday to hone my spiritual skills. I finally got to where I wanted to get to... the turmoil is over... the impatient waiting and yearning is over. . I can finally lay my heart to rest....Now I am really in a good place. I plugged in the key, collected my food and water and I am ready to go on a long solo journey to the end of the horizon, where it takes me I don't know but I'm pretty sure I'm on the path of love and it will take me to a lovely place I can call paradise of the mind...... Who knows ???? Paradise could be near. Right now I'm getting cosy in my little bed under 3 pillooooows...I don't watch much TV. I get bored of TV. How do I feel atm Do you feel loved ? Do you feel good about yourself ? Are you happy ? Are you interested in doing your work ? What are your deepest desires ? What kind of life you want ? Do you think about the world too much ? Do you feel wanted ? Do you feel good ? Do you go too far in impressing others ? Are you completely authentic ? Do you express yourself fully ? Do you give a lot of importance to your emotions ? ------------------------- The problem the problem is when you don't feel great about yourself things don't happen and you don't feel like doing anything therefore feeling great everyday is an essential thing start everyday feeling great about yourself I've realised that a lot of my issues stem from low self esteem and not feeling great about myself I've also and I've also realised that not feeling great about oneself is actually a kind of lack of self love full stop if you feel great about yourself it's because you love yourself enough all the feelings of low self esteem or somewhere rooted in feeling unworthy I'm not feeling good enough and feeling like you are not upto the mark which means you don't love yourself enough which means you hate yourself is it good to hate yourself not at all you should never hate yourself for whatever reason just like you should never hate anyone you should love yourself remember the rule the thing which you appreciate is the thing which you have. whereas the thing which you do not appreciate is the thing that you lose. So whatever you got you will lose it if you fail to appreciate it do you want that that's the reason why you should learn to love yourself when you love yourself you feel good about yourself you feel great about yourself and when you feel great about yourself everything Falls into place and you don't care what the world thinks and.... You hate yourself and that's a cringey thing.....when you don't love yourself you take yourself for granted and the reason you don't love yourself or let's put it the other way the reason you hate yourself maybe because you are too over ambitious it's because you think that you should be so and so in order to be loved it's like saying to yourself I would have loved myself more if I were rich or if I had money like that other guy or girl or or or I would have loved myself if I were tall, if I were good looking like that girl / guy and so on .. so basically you are unsatisfied with who you are its ok to be better everyday but its not ok to hate yourself for not being something that you are not its like you hate your child for not being talented enough and that sort of a bias it's not good to do that you have to think that you are good already you just have to work on yourself and get better but not hate yourself for who you are is because of this self hate that you have some inner sabotage going on. That is the reason why you treat yourself so shitty. Points Balance between narcissism and self hate You should have a healthy dose of self criticism as well. you are creating competition by constantly comparing yourself to others and thinking that you should be like them or above them this kind of a thinking means everyone should be like each other or better than each other which is again competition so you are creating it yourself Start my day with three things in mind 1. Wake up feeling good about yourself, in love for myself, not hating myself but thinking I'm good enough, I have my own unique journey. Not comparing to others. Wake up and the first thing feel great about yourself. 2. Remember time management 3. 2. For people who have experienced nothingness, how was time felt during the experience? Was it relatively faster / slower / infinite or something else ?
  3. Plot twist: I am you and you are me. You are God. I am God. Everyone. Everything. Is God. God chose to imagine himself as an infinite amount of seemingly separate selves. These selves/minds (life/dream) are structured (by God of course) in such a way that it feels as though they can only be experienced one at a time. That's why it FEELS as though you are you and I am me (as if we are two separate selves). The story of being born involuntarily as a separate human being feels true, but is in fact just a conceptual story useful for survival, not true in any absolute sense. You can become directly conscious of this. You can become directly conscious of the Truth of Oneness. Of course, even when you become directly conscious of God, Oneness, Love, Nothingness, No-Self, etc., still it will feel like, on the surface, that you are still a separate human body running around with an inner world of emotions, thoughts, feelings in an outer "physical" world. ("Permanent Enlightenmen" is when you have an "inner deep clarity" that shines onto this "apparent surface of separateness" and tells you that it is what it is: Oneness/Love/God/Nothingness , -- thus: many'ness becomes One, differences becomes One, self becomes other, others become you, hate becomes Love, suffering becomes Love, pain becomes Love, death becomes Life, evil and bad becomes Good, separateness becomes Oneness, unconsciousness becomes Consciousness, life becomes Heaven/Dream, seriousness becomes Play, delusion becomes Enlightened, human becomes God, Everything becomes God, Love..., something becomes nothingness, ) That's the genius, brilliancy, of this dream of life We - as God - have imagined up. We knew it had had to have some apparant order and structure, otherwise We wouldn't believe it was real. Hehe. If it was just a mess all of it, survival would not work, and We wouldn't believe it was real. And We need to believe it's real in order to then - eventually - come back to Ourselves (God/Love/Oneness). If We did not believe it was real, then We would not be able to come back to Ourselves, because We would already "be there", i.e. just existing as pure nothingness, unable to imagine ourselves as infinite things. The thing is, We already are pure nothingness (thus infinite potential, infinite love, God), We are always that. It's just that this pure nothingness is equal to somethingness, i.e. what you call 'your own body' or 'a tree' or 'a table' or 'your dog', THAT IS pure nothingness. That which is something is nothing. And that's God. Divine Love. Divine Play. Leela. Heaven is right here, not somewhere else. God is right here, not somewhere else. Enlightenment is right here, not somewhere else. This of course also means that hell is right here. Evil is right here. Delusion is right here. Hell = Heaven God = The Devil Enlightenment = Delusion It's all one. You choose which perspective you want to have. Are you full of ego/turmoil on the inside? Life becomes hell. Are you full of nothingness/death on the inside? Life becomes Heaven. Since my awakening 2 months ago, I feel so death on 'the inside', that everything 'outside' feels so alive. Like I'm a child again. Why did We (as God) choose to imagine Us into being seemingly separate helpless selves? Because We had to, to see what We truly are (Infinite, Nothingness, Love, God). Contrast is needed. We did it out of love. Out of selflessness. It would be selfish to stay as One only:-) Although, paradoxically, We are always One (and nothing else), it just doesn't always seem so (that's the brilliancy of this creation). We did it because We wanted to see what We could create. To test Our infinite creative skills. To test Our infinite imagination. I mean, for God's sake, search some youtube videos on how bizzare nature/wild life/animals can be. Or just humans for that matter. Why is this so? Why is reality so full of crazy shit? Because We like imagining infinite things. We are the very definition of Creation. We Create. We love. Survival as in what we call "darwinistic evolution" is one of the most genius methods for creation, for expressing divine love, for expressing Infinite Creativity, imagination. What is absolutely true, is that ultimately, everything is happening out of Divine Love, everything is an absolute 100% free choice (God is 100% free OF COURSE lol). So you (as God) choosing to trick yourself into believing you are "whatever your name is" as a human being and not God/Love/Nothingness; well, that's a free choice - too -, and it's a free choice that you have tricked yourself into believing it was not a free choice (and that you are a " poor little 'me' " instead), hehe <3
  4. Today, I had the most profound realization in my journey. I've focused a lot on the metaphysics of nothingness, and how you are the screen upon which reality is appearing, etc. But I failed to realize how deep this goes at the existential level. I, am pure love. And so are you. All there was was a ray of eternal love. Love = Awareness = Consciousness I've been saying that I am god, (and so are you) - but this word God does not do it justice. Speaking about love is one thing. To experience (S)elf love, is quite mindblowing. I cried for a while after this realization. All the times that someone stopped to save a kitten, every time someone helped me, every gesture, every good deed. Love transcends metaphysics. It is existential. You are nothingness, and nothingness exists within Love. The very substrate for reality is Love.
  5. I have two questions: What's the difference between nothingness and love? How exactly is love larger than nothingness?
  6. Why Is There Something Rather Than Nothing? Leo Gura Jul 19, 2020 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ However in the video Leo says: " Everything is Nothing" and " there is no distinction between something and nothing " But the title does not say this. The title says that nothing exist only something exists. So where is the evidence that nothing exists other than "nothing" being an abstract dualistic concept but not a real thing? The title of the video is not " There is no Distinction Between Something and Nothing " Similarly Leo has said there is only Love and that hate doesn't exist and he justifies that because assuming nonduality is true then if we add hate to Love it's two things not one. ____________________________________________ So we return to the original title Why Is There Something Rather Than Nothing? Prove that that is not true. That "nothing" doesn't exist. It's a mental construct. What about the idea Nothing is all there is , everything is an illusion? It doesn't matter, an illusion is not nothing. What about the statement alone Nothing is all there is ? That doesn't work because we experience different things. We only experience things, thoughts etc You go into a pitch black dark room insulated from sound yet you can sense your feet standing there, or your own breathing , thoughts memory etc. Just being alive you are experiencing and that is not nothing. Ok what about statements like Infinity is Zero Up is Down Hate is Love Everything is Nothing I am you You are Me If you take two words like this that are considers opposites and you put the word "is" or "am" in between. The are interesting because they doesn't make sense. They seem clever , paradoxical and your brain tries to make sense of them but it keeps looping an it can't In the video the idea is raise why does the universe have various things in it ? Wouldn't it be simpler and more elegant to have nothing? Hypothetically yes but that would be extremely boring. So we return to the original title Why Is There Something Rather Than Nothing? Why wouldn't only something exist? Where is the proof that nothing exists? See, the intuition gets it right the first time. There is only something Then the mind comes in, intellectualizes and imagines that nothing also exists That's the minds illusion, nothingness. It's elegant in it's simplicity. However reality is not elegant in that way. Sometimes we find peace in simplicity. But that is because our minds can be overwhelmed if attempting to be aware of a multitude of things at once. To focus on on one sometimes is a needed relief from the whole universe Meditation is an artificial thing, But it is useful to use to step out of distracting, repetitive chatter We need to get away from "it all" sometimes ______________________________________________________________________ https://www.huffpost.com/entry/emptiness-most-misunderstood-word-in-buddhism_b_2769189 Emptiness: The Most Misunderstood Word in Buddhism “Emptiness” is a central teaching of all Buddhism, but its true meaning is often misunderstood. If we are ever to embrace Buddhism properly into the West, we need to be clear about emptiness, since a wrong understanding of its meaning can be confusing, even harmful. The third century Indian Buddhist master Nagarjuna taught, “Emptiness wrongly grasped is like picking up a poisonous snake by the wrong end.” In other words, we will be bitten! Emptiness is not complete nothingness; it doesn’t mean that nothing exists at all. This would be a nihilistic view contrary to common sense. What it does mean is that things do not exist the way our grasping self supposes they do. In his book on the Heart Sutra the Dalai Lama calls emptiness “the true nature of things and events,” but in the same passage he warns us “to avoid the misapprehension that emptiness is an absolute reality or an independent truth.” In other words, emptiness is not some kind of heaven or separate realm apart from this world and its woes. The Heart Sutra says, “all phenomena in their own-being are empty.” It doesn’t say “all phenomena are empty.” This distinction is vital. “Own-being” means separate independent existence. The passage means that nothing we see or hear (or are) stands alone; everything is a tentative expression of one seamless, ever-changing landscape. So though no individual person or thing has any permanent, fixed identity, everything taken together is what Thich Nhat Hanh calls “interbeing.” This term embraces the positive aspect of emptiness as it is lived and acted by a person of wisdom — with its sense of connection, compassion and love. Think of the Dalai Lama himself and the kind of person he is — generous, humble, smiling and laughing — and we can see that a mere intellectual reading of emptiness fails to get at its practical joyous quality in spiritual life. So emptiness has two aspects, one negative and the other quite positive. Ari Goldfield, a Buddhist teacher at Wisdom Sun and translator of Stars of Wisdom , summarizes these two aspects as follows: The first meaning of emptiness is called “emptiness of essence,” which means that phenomena [that we experience] have no inherent nature by themselves.” The second is called “emptiness in the context of Buddha Nature,” which sees emptiness as endowed with qualities of awakened mind like wisdom, bliss, compassion, clarity, and courage. Ultimate reality is the union of both emptinesses. Some Buddhist students think that a meditative state without thought or activity is the realization of emptiness. While such a state is well described in Buddhist meditation texts, it is treated like all mental states — temporary and not ultimately conducive to liberation. ___________________________________________________________ Reality is impermanent. Things come and go. When they go do they go into "nothingness? " No they disappear. They don't go into a place called "nothingness" Nothingness is the mental construct. That is the idealistic illusion things don't have "no" or "non" in front of them. Those are abstractions There is. There is no such thing as nonduality. Absence of duality is not a thing And because it's not at thing that doesn't mean duality is real. that is another construct There only are things And if you says there are only illusions of things illusions are not nothing They are something Welcome to somethingness
  7. After enlightenment experience, you realize that you (self is gone this point) are nothing therefore everything, every moment, which is now. Therefore, love appears inevitablely. But real love is effortless love, because there is no self, whatever you see or feel is you. So love is, helping others (because they are you) when they need, crying with them, sharing them pain and happiness, if they are hungry be hungry with them, But not as body (because there is no body as you), whatever the emotion, sensations, thoughts or people in the moment they are you. So behave to others how you behave yourself. There is no separation. Because whatever people are doing is force or convincing someone to love is the only right thing to do, judging people that they dont love enough, or blaming enlightenment that everything is an illusion or manipulating people with your own words that they are not good enough, because “YOU” know what enlightenment is. This is not enlightenment, or selfless. You still have an expectation from others. Expectations and questioning occurs within the ego. This is CONDITIONAL LOVE. Love is giving people whatever they need. If cat is hungry go fed them, if flower need water give water. Love is sharing, everything till nothing left within you. Than you will realize what is the enlightenment or selfless is Thats what LOVE IS. This is UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Be humble as nothing, share as everything. This is what enlightenment is, this what selfless is, this is what no mind is. You are nothing therefore everything is you. Additionally, dont ever get confused with non dual state and love. If you have experience non dual awakening through meditation, you forgot everything, because you are nothing. Love is the consequences (after start to remember), in non dual state there is nothing except you and you are nothing. Infinite nothingness, thats why it is just nothing. Much love
  8. This is probably happened to you with psychedelics. If you have experience non dual awakening through meditation, you forgot everything, because you are nothing. Love is the consequences (after start to remember), in non dual state there is nothing except you and you are nothing. Infinite nothingness, thats why it is just nothing. Don’t misinformation people.
  9. Awakening is a very interesting thing and one could say its in its infancy in terms of how its understood, quantified and expressed here on earth. On the one hand it can easily be wrapped up into as simple as a word or phrase as "One", or "All is One" or "All is God". There's no duality or material so to say in this expression and understanding. And while its true, lots of interesting nuance and subtly is often lost in the expression of and experience of/as "God" in this way. Your questions Are simultaneously God, and bring up the Infinite nuanced depth of mechanics and working of systems (which again are simultaneously and always God) that so to say influence and hold together structures of reality. These structures often have what one could call rules, like gravity, but like all sandboxs where things are made or sprout up from nothingness, the rules can and do change as well (and yes they may hold together for what one could call 15 billion more years). You ask about entities which is something I have some familiarity with, and there are entities that you could say from the nuanced level we are cells in the body of, just like we have cells/life forms in/as us that make up our body so to say. These entities have agency so to say, just like we appear to have and feel agency (even if ultimately it is ALL God simultaneously). You could say "Its all one and simultaneously its infinitely nuanced and changing", but still this wouldn't fill out the whole picture or exactly express what's happening. Edit: Oh and to answer your question about being able to heal anything or do anything through "Will". It's neither unattainable nor a prerequisite to waking up to God/What you are.
  10. "Why wouldn't only something exist?" Because you need something to contrast something with to even beware of something. That something is nothing. Something cannot exist without nothing, you see? Just as up cannot exist without down, or heads without tails, or buying without selling. Hence death. Death is what stage orange people perceive as absolute nothingness. And in a sense they are right, only that they forget that even that nothingness is equal to something, namely life. What happens after death? Life. What after life? Death. Life. Death. Life. They imply each other. The only natural thing that can happen after death is life. Just like a wave of light has an infinite sequence of repeating crests and troughs. See, the wave is ultimately only one thing: a wave.., it just assumes different shapes, up, down, up down. The same goes for existence. It is non-dual: there is only existence (equal to Consciousness/Love/God) but it assumes different forms: life, death, bad, good, love, hate, self, other, finite, infinite, conscious, unconscious, etc.
  11. @Red-White-Light I feel you. Also struggling with it. Had some night mares, my wife dying etc. I had a realization years ago, pre psychedelics, I was meditating a lot back then, just looking at two men unloading a truck, realizing that there was just emptiness/ nothingness thinking it was two men unloading a truck, but in fact there's nothing there. As I watched the video that realization came back and I've felt depressed on and off the past days. Questioning the meaning in what I do etc... Powerful stuff! We will get through it! Lots of Love...
  12. @WaveInTheOcean @VeganAwake Hey guys nice conversation. Thanks for the love <3 I experience more and more nothingness throughout the day..I guess my the contracted energy in my body is getting less rigid which feels amazing. There is a thought that keep arising is that I will not be able to function in this field. Like make a living(beside being a guru lol) After embracing the truth can u guys function(Go to work 10 hours a day)? Can u study for example(things just for the sake of survival)? Do u have any examples of people that had awakening and embraced the truth, and actually having a normal job?(doctors, lawyers) I live in a very competitive environment so I guess my fear is not to function well.. Sorry if I touched any sensitive point but u guys seem to have more experience in that than me <3
  13. True infinity is nothingness. Communication is just a thought. Yes , it is just is, now.
  14. Of course. I am you. Enjoy. I thought there is no me ? Decide already, will ya? Tell me - just how exactly does the formless become the form? And how come 'Love is form' but not formlessness? Who or what makes that distinction? Where does Love begin and where does it e Formlessness never come a form. This non duality, you are non duality. If you never learn that you are human or you can learn, or love, or mind, how can you be aware that you (Have body) are in universe (even being aware is “knowing”)? Thats why i am telling you that you created so called world with thoughts. If you never learn anything, there will be no beginning or existing. Separation happened with so called “knowing that you are human or this is world”. If you dont know you never born. Because your birth happened with knowing. Thats why you need a direct experience with non duality, or become non duality. Search gateless gate, or becoming nothing (if you dont have direct realization, you will never get it). Then you will realize that entire universe is just a thought. Big bang happened because of thoughts, if you dont think nothing happens, which is before big bang. Additionally, so called universe is came from nothingness, and every substance of duality is nothingness according to so called big bang. Thats why never happened. And if you tell me if nothing is happening, why this conversation is happening, no, this is not a conversation, it is me. Thats why nothing is happening.
  15. After watching Leo's video about Something and Nothing, I just want to clarify what is deep sleep and death. So I would have thought that deep sleep and death would be nothing and the world is something. But is Leo suggesting there is no difference between these two states? Isn't there a clear difference between deep sleep and the world? To me, deep sleep is nothing/infinity and the world is a finite and limitation. So there is a distinction between these two states. But then isn't being in the nothingness of deep sleep another limitation? I'm finding it hard to grasp what deep sleep is and the world is.
  16. is there any way to experience non-duality state ? without psychedelics? how can I do this ? is all those terms are the same or there is a difference ? non-duality - surrender - enlightenment - presence - being - god - nothingness - love - no-self - zen - tao - no-mind
  17. @Jed Vassallo "Only when you wake from the dream can you understand that it was all meaningless, just an experience you dreamt up to experience." "Existence is both meaningless and infinitely meaningful. There is no meaning to nothingness, yet there is meaning because you God created it. " So if it is both meaningless and infinitely meaningful, why does awakening only bring about the understanding of the meaninglessness of life? Don't we already find life meaningless or meaningful in our non-awakened states? Or to put it another way, isn't meaning just another mental construct?
  18. An awakening is waking up from the dream to the truth of your existence, to infinity. Remembering. Then you come back to the dream, your body, your point of view. You won't have the present moment experience of infinity, but will have the knowledge of it. Existence is both meaningless and infinitely meaningful. There is no meaning to nothingness, yet there is meaning because you God created it.
  19. The answer to all this is you need to awaken to find out for yourself. Nothing anyone says is going to be a satisfying answer, as everyone is part of the illusion that you (God) are creating. So you are essentially asking a character in your dream why you are dreaming the dream you are in why the dream is the way it is. See how that can't work. Only when you wake from the dream can you understand that it was all meaningless, just an experience you dreamt up to experience. Nothingness imaging somethingness. So if you want answers, do the work to awaken from the dream (the how has been documented at great length on this site). Then you can go about the rest of your dream (life) knowing why it is the way it is, and can sit back and enjoy the dream for what it is.
  20. It's undeniable that the body does "stuff" outside our conscious awareness. Our blood pumps, food digests, and myriad other mechanistic things churn around. Occasionally that "stuff" is brought to our attention: we feel lethargic, we feel hungry, we have a heart attack. But what about the more intangible things: things like our learning and memories and ideas and emotions? Do they have a life outside of our conscious awareness? Most people would say "yes". Most people call it the subconscious. It's an interesting term: sub-conscious. Sub comes from Latin and it means below or under. It metaphorically betrays itself; the metaphor being that consciousness is like the clear air above a lake and the subconscious is the murky water of underneath it. And, occasionally stuff pokes up above the waterline to delight or scare us. There's also a mechanistic assumption that somehow the machine is churning away somewhere in the murk. I'd argue it's nothing like that at all (but see my previous post for a contradictory view!). Unlike bodies and the world "out there", thoughts and feelings have no permanent form. They are whispy and etherial. Because of this they don't have permanent existence, there's a kind of nothingness quality which permeates them. All machines operate on a kind of algebra or symbolic manipulation. For a four stroke engine, this is shiny steel and liquid gasoline: the steel has a certain shape and configuration, the gasoline has certain attributes and explosive tendencies. For a body the machine is chemistry and physics: different elements each having their own chemical and physical properties are configured in specific interlocking patterns in a vast network. In theory if you can specify a machine in enough detail you can replicate its workings. What sort of machine would work on thoughts and emotions? The obvious one would be language, with all its symbolism and rules and logic. But immediately there is a problem with this idea. Unlike a four stroke engine, the engine of language is not made of thoughts and emotions, but words and sounds. Language is more of an intemediary than the actual thing itself. Thoughts are converted to language are converted to thoughts. Nonetheless, is it possible that the machine of language is churning away and subconsciously processing our thoughts and emotions? I'd say not. The main evidence against it is that you can't get your subconscious to supply you with tomorrow's essay on "Consciousness" whilst you do other things. In other words producing language always involves conscious exertion. The thoughts and ideas come on a whim and are converted there and then into language - the same being true in reverse. There is no language machine under the waterline, it's all above the waterline. Could there be any other sort of machine which sorts and processes thoughts and emotions out of sight of consciousness? For this to happen thoughts and emotions would have to be stored somewhere so that they could be held for processing. But how do you store a thing which is ephemeral or highly abstract like love? If you talk to a materialist then both the machine and the storage mechanism is the human brain and more specifically neurons. And this effectively reduces it to chemistry and physics. But this has precisely the same problem as the language machine idea does: at best the brain is an intermediary for mind. Somehow the brain must have to convert electrical signals and activation potentials into such intangible things as the thought of a swooping bird (and possibly do it in reverse). A four stroke engine is just the same chemistry and physics (mostly carbon): can it process a basic kind of thought? It seems extremely unlikely. Again as with the language idea, is it possible to ask subconscious to churn away and reproduce a kind of mental play for you, ready for you to hit "play" and consciously re-enact it? All whilst you're doing other things? No, it seems not. Even dreams are conscious activities. It's all above the waterline. There is no subconscious, give up the idea. All the processing and machinations of the mind happen in consciousness. Yes, consciousness is that powerful.
  21. I can understand through my own awakening what you mean, there's just a different language expressed on subtleties. Like Yes the moment of you happening (feelings, thoughts, sensations) is what you are, and your the infinite interpretations, infinite view points, infinite births and deaths, the labeling, the naming, everything!!! theres nothing thats not "You", the falling away of distinctions and the distinctions, which is just you. The beautiful smell or breaking out in hives reaction to smelling a rose, the stinky or pleasant odor of baby shit, the perspective of no-mind, the happening of void/nothingness, the falling away of all distinctions, the forgetting of that and the feeling of being human and the infinite ways that can feel.
  22. I dont refer to say as “If animal bites my leg”. When animal bites the leg, i am the pain. There is no feeling trough the body, because there is no body. Whatever happens in the moment thats what you are (feelings, thoughts, sensations vs). When all happening is you, distinctions of experiences collapses, because all you. So when you become the moment nothing happens, it is just you. You are happening. But, ironically you are nothing thats why every happening is you as nothing. Thats why nothing is happening (simultaneously 2 meaning). Thats why big bang never happened , it so called happened because of the thoughts, naming and labeling. Lol ? Unbelievable. This is the void or before the big bang, that nothingness, now.
  23. I wouldn't be so sure they are the same. Sure in the Totality of ALL, everything is the same, but the experience of each of those, its very very different, and thats part of the fun and beauty of those and all experiences. "on-duality - surrender - enlightenment - presence - being - god - nothingness - love - no-self - zen - tao - no-mind" Sure there is and will be similarity and overlap, but some can be so radically different, you will question deeply in your soul if you were mistaken about what you thought you knew or if you were deluding yourself, or just what the fuck.... and then again perhaps not
  24. @Samuel Garcia moving on to the next step.. The definition of a "thing" is infinity. Thing =infinity. Infinite means non-finite=non definitive=unknown =no thing. Meaning that It's undefined. You can't define a thing at a fundamental level. I don't mean giving superficial labels.. I mean going to the existential core of what things are.. What is this present moment that you call reality? Obviously it is a "thing" right? But what Is a thing? You can't actually "say" what that is because all words are defined in terms of each other and they give you circular definitions that don't explain anything. Why is there something? Because there is awareness of something.. And why there is awareness of something? Because there is something!! You see the circulation. You already assume that there is something before actually investigating the question. And when you investigate it enough you will see the circulation . The paradox.. The self-reference proplem. You can't prove all the premises of a logical structure from within that logical structure.. You have to go meta at some point. For example how do you know that you are aware? You actually cannot prove to yourself that you are aware because that will lead to self - reference proplem and infinite regression.. "I'm aware that I'm aware and I'm aware that I'm aware that I'm aware and I'm aware that I'm aware that I'm aware that I'm aware... To infinity". It's not something that can be proved rationally that you are aware.. It's a first hand experience and not a matter of proof. Why is reality nothing? First of all it's not nothing as in zero or blankness and Leo said that clearly in the video. Nothingness is the quality of emptiness.. All these forms that you see around you are inherently empty.. Always changing and morphing and shifting.. There is no fixed reality.. It's just a Flux. Reality is a shape shifter not a static thing.. And that's why it is not a "thing" but rather a No-thing constantly shifting from one "thing" to another "thing". Look at this GIF.. Notice that that's not a "thing".. You can't give it any identity.. You can't say what that thing is.. And that's like all of reality.. It's nothing because you can't say what that thing is or give it any fixed identity because it has none.
  25. Absolute Love is formless. It's Nothingness. So long as you are experiencing existence as a limited form, you have to be involved in the survival game. Now you can survive consciously or unconsciously. But, it doesn't matter whether you choose conscious or unconscious survival, it always comes at a cost.
