Truth Addict replied to fluidmonolith's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@fluidmonolith I'm with you on this. I don't prefer calling the subjective experience Truth, it's just experience. But it's beneficial to make this distinction between thought and experience, although thought is also experienced. Experience is illusion, and Truth cannot be experienced, that's why it's immune to doubt. (I don't know, but they say so). So, the whole point of spirituality is to stop knowing, or to stop identifying with thought. Ideally one must end up exactly at where you are at right now, but that's not the end of the line I guess. Soooo.. I'm waiting for some answers with you. Thanks, it's a great thread! -

@Viking You were asking about waking up. Well, here's your guy! @Mu_ Ignore this post -
@Jakethehoff I'm not sure, but somewhere like Denmark and Sweden are probably solid Green. And as for Yellow, I think it's quite rare to find individuals who are at such high levels of development, let alone communities. For what I know, Yellow thinks systematically, which means if you are at Yellow, then you will have to change others. I mean what's the point of Yellow society? If it became a society, then that would make it Turquoise.

Truth Addict replied to Jkris's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jkris Simply by stopping the 'thought'. There's this kind of thought that is creating the problem, which is the one that wants to stop the thoughts. You see, look for this 'master thought' and then surrender yourself to the facts (reality). Meditation I find is the best way, it'll make it easier for you to have a grip on the mind. Sometimes, it can get real hard and you might find no where to run. Here, I suggest stuffing yourself with food, or dropping all activities at once for a long time if possible. Other less direct ways: Music. Books. Video games. Friends. Internet. Tv. Hard work (manual work). Basically, anything that distracts you from the main irritating thoughts. Good luck! -
@Paul92 Don't get tricked by the looks of the spiritual words. You're just looking at the empty half of the glass. While in fact: Empty=Full. Nothing=Everything. Illusion=Truth. There are two reasons for why you shouldn't end your life. 1) The pain and fear are not worth it. 2) You don't know what is behind that door. Please be safe my friend, we need you. ❤️

@Moonturnsthetides Hey, lighten up a little bit, you're a light! First of all, I feel you, and I've been there. Luckily, I'm now so over that phase, and I'll share my experience with you: Don't worry, and don't fret. It's just a phase, and it'll pass. Believe in yourself, and trust the universe that got you here, the best is yet to come. Drop all these nihilistic ideas, and cut off the sources that supply you with them. You must realise by now that nihilism is not true, it's mere ideas, watch them pass through the mind and let them go. Thinking is so overrated. Consider the video game analogy, you don't give up the game on a hard stage. The harder it gets, the better the outcome. Spend more time in nature, and appreciate the beauty of life. Look for beauty everywhere, find whatever makes you happy. Take deep breaths more frequently, they help calming down the mind. Treat yourself gently, you deserve the best. Allow yourself to make mistakes, it's okay, you're already perfect, you can do no wrong. Be present while you are eating, food is so underrated. Wait for sunrises and sunsets, enjoy their beauty, and know that they're made for you and only you. Talk with the people you love, and if you're in shortage, we're all loving here. Exhibit A: @mandyjw Whatever you feel like doing, do it. Don't resist anything, just watch yourself passively, lovingly. Share your feelings and experiences with us, we're very supportive, we're like family. I hope that'll give you some hope, and help you get over depression. Feel free to PM me in case you feel the need to talk. The best is yet to come, remember that

My friend, I agree with you, although I live on the opposite side of yours. I think war is stupid, and I think every ideology that excludes others is stupid. The problem is, you see, my government excludes your people, and your government excludes my people. Or, at least that's what they tell us on the news. In my honest opinion, there are always larger dynamics at play, and nobody cares about our people. Maybe they want us to fight so that they can run their economies, you know how Arabs don't have weapon factories, so they'd have to buy from Russia and Iran like the Syrian regime and Hizb Allah, and from America like Saudi Arabia. So, what I don't know is that why we are fighting. But what I know is that I don't trust my government, and I think you don't trust yours either. Our governments are too corrupt, they brain wash us all the time since we are kids to become enemies and fight each other for them.

@Arhattobe If that's a question, then I don't know. If that's an answer, then you don't know. -
@Wekz By all means go for it. The path takes turns, and that's okay. It's just a phase that you need to go through and get the fruits out of it. Keep some things for yourself, be smart about that, until you get tired and realise that you need more authenticity. Right now, you think you're authentic, but you haven't gone through the "unauthentic" phase yet, so don't worry, you're on the right track as long as you are willing to learn. Good luck!

Sooooo I'm enlightened! Yes! Finally -
@Harikrishnan It all boils down to being present, this is the number one most important thing. Just keep this one thing in mind, and other things will naturally follow. Ask yourself: What is required for this situation right now? What is the best thing to do right now? What am I missing right now? What do I want/need right now? Etc... Just focus on what's in your hands, you don't need to remember how to contemplate when you're attracting someone, and vice-versa.

@CreamCat I see your point my friend. But since I can never be sure anyone is sincere like I can be with myself, I'd rather focus on myself and develop more authenticity.

@Viking There are certain periods of the night where sleeping is most effective. What I'm telling you is that you can sleep 6-8 hours max and wake up feeling superb. The problem is that I think it differs from one person to another, probably because of regional and seasonal differences. But as a general rule of thumb, try to calculate the night time, so lets say it's 10 hours, I find the perfect time to sleep is in the 20% to 80% of those 10 hours. So, for example, if the night begins at 8:00 pm and ends at 6:00 am, sleep at 9:30 pm or 10:00 pm, and wake up at 5:00 am or even 4:00 am, and you will feel amazing! I find my biological clock more aligned with natural clock than the digital one. This actually is of a huge value. But you'll have to give up some night pleasures as well. P.S. You might feel the need to nap on a more regular basis applying this method. Let me know if it works for you. Good luck! Also, make sure you sleep in a fresh air-conditioned room, oxygen is very important for your sleep.

Truth Addict replied to herghly's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@herghly The thing is, your mental performance right now is at peak because of meditation. Consider that you will need meditation more than you need anything else. Your mind can get exhausted, and thus will disappoint you after a little while of hard work, and then you will need to meditate to re-charge your brain power so to speak. So, I wouldn't cut off meditation, but I'd postpone everything else. Think strategically about this point, it's vital to your success. -
Acceptance of what is as it is. If you can't make it big, accept that. If you can make it big, accept that. Just accept, you'll see!

In non-duality, form=formless. The creation we're seeing is nothing other than the creator. It's really not that they're two different things, but actually one happening inside of the other, but even that wouldn't be precisely correct, because they're one and the same. Of course, that's what they teach, and I'm not 100% convinced. There's no free will, free will is a concept, just like evil. It seems to me like there's still some part of the concept "free will" that is refusing to be let go of. Like something still thinks it has some doership, and that it's causing good or evil. But if we look closely enough, what is it that thinks so? And why does it think so? I think these questions are more direct to the heart of the issue. Maybe evil ends with the end of free will. I can only think of this as the ultimate goal of Christianity.

@OrpheusNovum I used to hate my parents so much in the past, they were very abusive to me in my childhood, they'd hit me repeatedly and intensively. Let alone the abusive talk, and killing my self-esteem, and forcing me to work for 9 hours a day since I was 12 years old alongside studying. But now that I let go of the past, I have nothing but compassion and mercy for them, because I understand that it's not their fault, they grew up in very much the same environment as mine, and even worse, so I figured that they did their best to not be like their parents. Since I started my self-actualization process, I started to have an effect on them, and they started to change, I don't know how, but it's like magic, I did actually make them open to a lot of ideas that they themselves taught me how to hate and block them. My father is still more rigid, and is still more troubled and hateful but I accepted him, and I figured out ways how to manipulate him for his own good, without him even knowing. I want to break that chain, and I don't want my future children to suffer what I suffered. It takes sometime to get there, I'm not fully over my childhood issues but I'm working and I will get there. I hope you find some relief reading my story.

Truth Addict replied to Highest's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well, to the ordinary people non-duality is just hallucinations, to non-duality people ordinary people are hallucinations and they are hallucinating. I'm not judging or making conclusions, I'm just pointing that out to you. -
@Nivsch I see, but one of the most important qualities of Yellow is long term thinking. Don't get tricked by quick results, they also have consequences that Trump is not seeing. I know politics is a very complex topic, and I know that I'm not an expert, so I I'd stop here. Cheers and good day my friend.

@Key Elements One way or another, we're doing a perfect job at passing on the message, whatever that message might be ? @electroBeam If I may try to answer.. God has no selfish agendas, and didn't push us, it does not matter to God whether we spread Truth or lie, it's all a big lie, and this big lie is the Truth. We're assuming duality here, a creation and a creator. Perhaps the answer shows up if we let go of that assumption. Could it be that illusion is an inherent quality of God, and therefore it has no beginning and no end? Like God Itself. .. We're merely one drop of an infinite ocean.

Truth Addict replied to rothko's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@rothko I don't actually have this much of nuance, I just do simple basic stuff, meditation and self-inquiry a little bit here and there, although this little bit could mean 5 hours, contemplation, surrendering, you know just basic stuff because I don't have enough resources to research. And all is working just fine for me
