  1. If that's your experience, then that's your experience. You don't have to agree with others or be convinced of their experiences. Right now you feel that way, but maybe that feeling is not permanent after all. Just maybe.
  2. Is a map the territory?
  3. @Immortal peace Hang in there buddy, I've been there. I've had moments in my life where it seemed like there's no hope for me, and that I was lost, but I was patient until some miracle happened and fixed everything at once, I look back and still wonder how was that possible! But the bottom line is that it is possible, and now my life is milk and honey, and so will be yours. Don't lose hope, people have come back from even worse situations. Maybe you can find some work online, I don't know a lot about your situation, but there's always a way. ❤️
  4. Ahh, but what is a question? And what is an answer? What is "what" but a theory? ❤️
  5. There's no everyone, there's only one, and it's you.
  6. Could you please elaborate? I'm a bit confused. Because in my experience: real + deceptive = illusion.
  7. @Leo Gura But sometimes life can leave you really stuck and paralysed that you have no other choice but to surrender and wait for some miracle to occur. It's not victim's thinking, sometimes it can really be the case, and patience is required. @Immortal peace Best of luck! I know it's hard, but it will pass, and my heart is with you ❤️
  8. No one has a sense of ownership and doership but you. Right? If you trust what anyone says, isn't that an illusion? That's first. Second, question that sense of ownership and doership, is it really true? If not, isn't that an illusion? But basically we say that the ego is an illusion because it is not permanent.
  9. @Immortal peace Personally, I find it very helpful to take everything to its conclusion. For example: okay, what happens if I don't have enough money? (some answers come up). Okay what happens if that happens? (some answers come up). Repeat until you get to the root of your fear, and then question the fear. Disclaimer: this game is dangerous, it's like gambling with your life, so be careful playing it.
  10. Any kind of knowledge is basically an illusion done in some way to help you stay alive. You can definitely change how you use logic or science or anything to benefit your survival needs more or less.
  11. @Florian Nothing can fix your problems unless they become real life problems. I mean why even trying to change anything at all if it's working fine for you? Right? You don't really want to change, because you don't really need to change. Instead, create a need to change, like having to wake up early to go to work, school or college, etc.. I don't know, you know. Or you can convince yourself to do something that is of no value to you, which in my experience, is the hardest thing ever.
  12. Let's go back to basics, and not stake upon assumptions. Where exactly is this "I" located? Does it really exist? We can't, if that is your experience, then who are we to disprove it?
  13. One (me) is an illusion when compared to many (other). But One (God) is the truth when compared to Nothing.
  14. @Paul92 Breathe bro, just breathe deep. ❤️
  15. @mandyjw Kind of your territory, what do you think?
  16. @Aakash Embarrassed <= insecurity <= fear <= love. You don't love yourself enough. Elaborate?
  17. @ShugendoRa Give your parents what they want, I guarantee that that alone will make you enlightened.
  18. @mandyjw I don't know, I believe there has to be some hidden wisdom in taking the other approach, perhaps because the ego-mind does not want to accept that it doesn't exist. Usually most people have very big egos, and they need to deconstruct them before they can see the truth, still, some people have little egos that need more construction, and so this approach can be helpful to them. (I'm just guessing).
  19. @zunnyman There's no difference between Truth and illusion, but the only thing that can delude you is you.
  20. @bflare There's no envy nor jealousy, they're illusions created by you, to help you stay alive.
  21. @okulele The definition that I gave was general. You meant specific type of embodiment, which is the spiritual embodiment. My definition works, I guess, but it had to be more nuanced. Spiritual embodiment is applying the insights we have about reality in our everyday lives, whatever that means. I don't think there's someone who is 100% embodied, or that there could ever be, because we're always learning new insights. In fact, when someone thinks or says that they are fully enlightened or embodied, you can rest sure that they are not, and that they are deluding themselves and others. Arriving at a final destination is a trap, there's only the trip. ?
  22. One will lead to the other. Sometimes we have to go back and forth between life purpose and enlightenment, I personally find that best results come from that balance. ❤️
