  1. Same goes with meditation and other spiritual practices. But still you don't call them horseshit. Most people who spend their entire lives devoted to meditation get nowhere. So, by the same logic, meditation is horseshit. I'm not saying that any of the spiritual practices are useless, in fact, I've had a lot of great results from them. It's just that I think you are a little bit biased somehow.
  2. Just go do it already. What is the answer that you're looking for? Whatever you're expecting, you will eventually have to do it, so gather your courage, stop caring for people's opinions, and do it. Just do it ✔️
  3. @Beeman If you're speaking English with them, then there's no wonder. You should edit the title, you meant to say: "Why do I seem to confuse people about my behaviour?". Because if you like doing that, then there's no question, you've already answered the question. If you're speaking with your original language, then maybe you're lacking some communication skills, that can be fixed through more experience. Generally speaking, if you are honest and clear about yourself with yourself, then you shouldn't find problems communicating with others.
  4. There is only one ego, and that is imagination. It's creative, sneaky, and unexpected. You cannot capture the ego with the ego
  5. Please don't, the night king was cool too ?
  6. @Flatworld Crusades Oh, don't worry a bit about it. It was way too cool for the internet to take ? And welcome to the forum ? ❤️
  7. Hehe, there's only the present moment, stop wasting your time and go look for it.
  8. @Flatworld Crusades Answering your questions will make you even more confused. Because they make me confused. Instead, live your life, and if you like do some practices. I don't have any better answers.
  9. @DrewNows ?? I don't want to learn, I'm happy with my beliefs.
  10. @theking00 Exactly! Now the next step is to realise that this insight is also meaningless, and then live for the experience of life, accepting whatever is.
  11. @DrewNows Whatever experience or understanding we have, it will eventually become a memory. What is a memory but a fantasy? Why do we place so much value on it? Isn't that biased? Why are my personal experiences truer than others'? If not, then I can trust their experiences too, and that's what we call a belief.
  12. @EvilAngel Prayer is very powerful if you believe in it. You can do and become whatever you want through prayer. Although without believing, there's no prayer at all. Direct experience is horseshit and no better than a belief.
  13. Me too ❤️ Hehe, there's no difference between belief and fact, that's a belief and a fact. Think about it ? ❤️
  14. Sorry, wrong quote. I don't want to play that game ? Not anymore ?
  15. @DrewNows This is very beautiful! ❤️
  16. @DrewNows The ideal you're talking about is kind of hard, maybe even impossible to achieve. You basically can't be alive without separating yourself from environment. So, you can't lose the self entirely, although you can make it less important. You're still seeing a duality between self and other, and thinking that by doing that you're avoiding duality. But actually, that's not the case, you're still thinking dualistically, and that's why you find confusion in being a self. You can't not be a self, stop trying to not be who you are. Stop resisting. If you accept the separation, then there would be no resistance, and therefore no more conflicts. ❤️
  17. @DrewNows I see, but I don't view thought as evil. I view it as necessary. Conflict is unnecessary, you can think all you want without conflict. You can love without fear, but you can't fear without Love. ? ❤️
  18. @DrewNows Love is not an emotion, it can materialise as an emotion, that emotion can take different forms, fear, anxiety, lust, hatred, love, anger, depression, etc... But it is an absolute quality of reality. Conflict comes from resistance, fear doesn't. So, to end psychological fear is to stop resisting completely (including the thoughts). Still, it takes time to get rid of the old patterns.
  19. @DrewNows Right, but in both cases fear comes from Love. Right? Fear is healthy, conflict isn't. Fear comes from Truth, conflict comes from delusion. Although in the end, even delusion comes from Love, exceeding love for something imaginary.
  20. @DrewNows There's still a deeper level that we could see. Fear exists to serve its purpose. The purpose of fear is security or protection. If protection isn't love, then I don't know what is. The "us" that fear is protecting is the light that is inside of us. Why don't we say instead that the sense of danger is the false one? Right now, are you safe or in danger? That's how it must work in order to protect you. Don't hate the player and don't hate the game. ❤️
  21. Why does fear exist? And what is its purpose? What is it protecting? What is protection?
