  1. @zeroISinfinity @DrewNows Is it really that hard to detect humour? @WelcometoReality What do you mean exactly by that? Is there a practice for that? Because I can't distinguish between true and false anymore.
  2. Spiritual people are no less judgemental than the average person. Jeez! It's just a show, you can watch, enjoy, and learn, if you drop your judgements.
  3. @Shin @WelcometoReality How did you get there you lucky bastards? I am so unlucky, and so bastard
  4. @andyjohnsonman It's describing how devil works even better than leo did
  5. @luqqzr Meditation is just observation, it's very simple, don't make it complicated by over theorising it. Observe what is happening right now in the present moment whatever it might be; thoughts, emotions, sounds, visions, temperature, hunger, thirst, pressure, etc... Just observe yourself curiously, that's it.
  6. Ground yourself in surrendering. Let life take control instead of trying to manipulate it. Just let go of the driving wheel. Everything is fine.
  7. You certainly can, in exchange for your thinking mind. That doesn't mean that you should stop thinking. It means that you should stop taking your thoughts seriously.
  8. At least make some suggestions..
  9. @WelcometoReality The fear is real. It's an emotion, whether thought-based or not. I think thought here can be helpful, believe that it's all for the better. Also, trust your body, it knows when to generate emotions. I'm sorry for not being able to be of much help, but I hope you find peace very soon, and I know you will. Don't resist, don't stress, don't worry, don't struggle, treat yourself with love, be gentle with yourself, take some rest, do somethings you like, talk to people you love, walk in nature, eat delicious food, keep your hydration well, watch some movies, do anything that cheers you up. And most importantly, know that it will pass, because it always does. Much love my friend ❤️
  10. Actually, I'm quite the opposite. I started getting interested in everything, everything seems meaningful and beautiful. Chatting with low consciousness people is awesome! Even bad and boring jokes have now become interesting and funny! Perspective is everything.
  11. @Shin don't you have any advice to give?
  12. Stop all other activities, no matter how seducing or important they might seem, you might even think that you will get answers by staying here on the forum, but guess what, if you're smart enough then you will immediately shut down the internet and go study right away. There are no answers, no tricks, stop wasting your time and go do the fucking work.
  13. Under the same circumstances: 1) An ordinary person will get disturbed at first, and then the chain will go on. Disturbance ==> Worrying ==> Distress ==> Anxiety ==> Depression ==> Disturbance ==> Repeat ? 2) An enlightened master, however, will get disturbed at first, but they are aware and are masters of their emotions and they know how the reactions will play out, so they stop the chain at disturbance, and might even be able to get back to peace
  14. @DrewNows LOL ? I must be a pervert to be addicted to death. Oh wait, there's no me to die in the first place. Still waiting...
  15. It's a paradox! A beautiful one indeed. In a sense, we're just copycating and repackaging the work that is done by others before us. And in another sense, we're all unique and special and everything we say, think, or do is always fresh and new. It's like DNA, it's derived from other DNAs, but at the same time, it has its own unique characteristics. However, being authentic or original means accepting our uniqueness, instead of trying to stay conservatives, and accepting that we're always learning and evolving.
  16. @Inliytened1 ❤️ I think a mystical experience is basically a loss of identification, that everything seems so fresh and beautiful all over again.
  17. @aidenhall Who has more understanding of reality? Person A, who've studied Physics and Psychology. Or person B, who've studied only Physics or Psychology. All I'm saying is that suffering is a field of study that almost nobody wants to explore at all, and studying more is that what makes better understanding.
  18. @Harikrishnan
  19. @Natasha @Anna1 Then perhaps my intuition was wrong.
  20. What is enlightenment? I said that his understanding is shallow. Suffering is one of the greatest teachers there is. Not because suffering is painful, but because suffering is an experience that everyone tries to avoid all the time. So, more suffering = more experience = more understanding
  21. I think his understanding is very shallow, I don't know anything about him, but he seems like he haven't really suffered, so he doesn't really know what he is talking about. I'm judging from this video only.
  22. I don't want to say, because I think it will be counter-productive for you. But if I am right, and your life is in the same routine, then I have a point.
  23. Delude yourself however you want to.
