@abrakamowse That's the kind of open-mindedness that I'm talking about, and I respect you for that. Joseph was a little bit unpractical with his criticism of others. But at the same time, he was just expressing his opinions. They might not be effective, since they are offensive, and they make the ego defensive, but they're still his views, and he's free to share them. However, the consequences of his actions are not up to him, especially when he is in a forum where he has no moderation powers at all. Diplomacy is very powerful. The essence of the communication gets lost when we dismiss diplomacy. I mean we have to be practical with our communications, or they will fall on deaf ears, or even worse, might create negative and opposite results to what was intended. I think we should define our goals with our communications before we start translating them into words. That probably leads to a better output. And since the ego does not like the truth, sometimes it's best to sugar-coat it with some compliments. It's really complicated, but really simple at the same time. Practice is key, of course. @7thLetter Absolutely ? That's what I'm learning to do/be. I think it depends, sometimes some people need to get hit with a stick to wake up, sometimes they are weak and emotional and they need comfort and support more than criticism. It depends, really. And one thing is, is that you can never know how your advice, no matter how gentle, will be received by the other person. It depends mostly on them. The ego does not like the truth, of course. That's why I posted my thread in the first place, to clarify this fact. Leo stressed the importance of not being a victim in two videos, I think they are one of the most important videos of his.

@7thLetter I have read your thread about correctiveness, I guess two days ago. You missed the whole point of my OP. This forum is a place for criticism and correctiveness. It's not a place for comfort. You don't go to a restaurant to sleep there. That's what I'm saying. However, I wasn't even correcting anyone. I showed my perspective and experience with criticism, and gave the conclusion that there are two ways to understanding it. If you do A, you get B. If you do -A, you get -B. It's my observations, and everyone is free to take them or leave them. It's their life and they're free to lead it. @abrakamowse ?

@Commodent ? Nothing is bad in an absolute sense. Sometimes we have to protect ourselves, it's fine. However, that becomes problematic when we do it deliberately and repeatedly until we stop seeing our biases towards ourselves against the truth. Therefore we get stuck in closed-mindedness and we stop learning and growing. Protection is essential. Yet, growth implies deconstructing the old and building something new. That's how our bodies work, and that's how the whole universe works. I think it's best to align ourselves with the universe in this case.

Change your beliefs. In order to do that, you need to change your lifestyle. Try to change everything in your daily routine. If you spend most of your time at home, start going out. And vice-versa. Change your room, even your apartment/house if possible. Add more constructive self-help content. Procrastination problems are common among actualized.org folks because Leo's teachings tend to focus on deconstructing the ego. If you are a thinker, become a doer. And vice-versa. In short, change as much as you can about your life. And see how you will feel refreshed, change, learn, and grow. Best wishes ❤️

And I am limited to my perception, which is me. Plus, all the stories about reincarnation, blah blah blah, are added on top of that fantasy of infinity.

Trump vs. China. Trump has influence on the UK, but China is getting more developed in terms of technology, which makes it harder for the USA to be the one dominant pole. I heard about accusing Gavin Williamson of certain leaks about Huawei. I heard that the leaks were suggesting that the British government cannot allow the 5G technology because Trump does not want it to do (same goes for Europe in general). So, the government feared for its image in front of its people, and laid Gavin off. It gets more complicated than that, but these are the limits of my knowledge. Politics is very dirty, and it's not what it seems at all. Anyway, I heard that the 5G technology has become available in the UK, and it's not the Chinese technology. Is that true?
