Truth Addict replied to traveler's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would trade anything and everything including survival, for health and happiness. -

Everything stays the same after enlightenment minus the suffering. -

Awesome! Here's a map for how this goes (helps you navigate): 1) There are always deeper levels for any realisation, actually perhaps infinite levels. So, the possibility of learning more is always present. 2) Implementing realisations is the hardest part, and we tend to forget. So, you might consider creating ways to remind yourself of your insights. A journal for example. Just my 2 cents. -
Truth Addict replied to Wisebaxter's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Wisebaxter I've been there. I kept surrendering, not that I chose to, until things started to change for me. Believe it or not, things are happening in a specific order for you. Yes, you are important, you are the center of the universe. Luck (God's decision) always does the trick for me. I'm the luckiest guy on earth. And by luck here, I mean patience and acceptance. Luck is the death of ego (control and manipulation). -

@Wisebaxter Very simple. Don't decide. Keep not-knowing, and let the world decide for you. God's decision might include kicking your ass, so be ready (accept it). What you want after all is happiness, not survival. P.S. Take care of your health. -

Great suggestion. Will not. -

It does not matter. Do whatever you like. Just be present. Because if you think it through all the way, you will discover that reality is infinitely complex and it both hinges upon your actions and at the same time it doesn't. Be selflessly selfish. Look for happiness. -

I feel like that and even better than that (since I feel bliss) most of the time, no big deal. -

You seem to be closed-minded and don't know what you're talking about. Direct experience is silent, maybe you could learn from it. -

Of course ? Heart is ego-death. -
@DecemberFlower Eliminating doubt requires going full-circle. You're now in the middle of the circle, which is the furthest place from both ends. The upside is that you can go in both directions and end up at the same place. You can start believing until all doubts are gone, or you can doubt everything until there's nothing left to doubt. You have the freedom to choose. Doubt does not have a purpose. It's just a mechanism which you were programmed with from your culture. It has its pros and its cons like anything else, but people usually focus on what they were programmed to want, which is survival. So, many people will say that the purpose of doubt is survival, where in fact, it isn't. Doubt is a specific pattern of thoughts, that in sum, claim truth over other patterns and things.

@Meditationdude Return back to the basics, aka Maslow's hierarchy.

I don't mean to be rude, but it doesn't really matter. Conceptualising the truth is the final trap before realising it. Thinking cannot go beyond strange loops. Strange loop is a cute term for labyrinth. All conceptualisation ends up in paradox. I tried to communicate that with many people here in different ways, nevertheless, all of it fell on deaf ears. I hope this penetrates with you. You're very open minded.

Finally got the time to watch the episode, and it was amazing! Just freaking mind-blowing! That's the stuff that Leo is best at. That's Leo's art! The stuff that got me addicted to Actualized.org. Stage Yellow Actualized.org! This video on relativity is a MUST-WATCH video for everyone who is serious about any of these topics: Personal development, Self-Actualization, big picture understanding of reality, epistemology, human evolution, enlightenment, and alignment with God. (BEING CONSCIOUS OF THE FRAME OF REFERENCE IS SUCH A POWERFUL TOOL! THANK YOU LEO ❤️) Those, of course, were my frame of reference for my judgements here. If you care about any topic of the above, then here's my list of the MUST-WATCH videos of Actualized.org, which I consider the foundation for all of life: And many more, including all Spiral Dynamics videos, all enlightenment videos, the videos Leo mentioned in understanding relativism episode, and many of the blog videos, and many more. We're talking about more than 6 years of creation. Those videos are what makes Actualized.org unique and the best in the market. Make sure you study the shit out of them. Can't wait for part 2 and even for part 3 if there will be. Such life-changing videos. I'm probably going to re-watch part 1 again before watching part 2.

The map exists inside of the territory. It cannot exist anywhere else because there is nowhere else. The territory is everything, including all maps. Words can point to the truth, and are the truth. What is the truth? -

Yep. But also if you search google for beautiful women, you will find a lot more. It's not that you should become masculine strong, nor that you should wear make-up and act all sensitive and touchy-feely. Same goes for men, only in different areas. You gotta find the right balance for you.

It usually feels good to give away. However, sometimes it might feel bad. Some people are truly in need, and some are making business out of begging. The latter might surprise you, they may be richer than you are How I feel is my compass.

@SQAAD Ask yourself: "What is true?" And keep persisting until you get to the answer. -
@mandyjw Thank you Mandy ❤️

Not necessarily. They're called E-motions because they move you. That movement can include asking questions. I prefer starting any kind of movement with at least some basic questions and inquiries. That will give you maps for how to move. Then you move and keep asking questions for creating better maps. The point from my earlier post is that questions must be asked in context. You wouldn't benefit too much from random questions, although that could open up new possibilities for you and give you new ideas. But start near, start from here. Ask questions that are most relevant to your life. That, in my opinion, is the best approach. Good luck!

@kieranperez Of course. I win, they lose. That's your mentality and you projected it onto me. There was no war nor competition, those things were just happening in your mind. Just because you don't understand the things I'm saying doesn't make them wrong. Keep an open mind if you're interested in Truth. Notice that I wasn't trying to convince you or anyone of anything. I was just speaking myself. You jumped into my discussion with Leo and the other two members, and then you called me a "nondual keyboard warrior", called my wisdom "blabber", and gave Leo one point for defeating me (which he didn't if we're to use competition's thinking). Notice how many projections you've been making. I'm not trying to "defeat" you. I'm trying to help you. So, take my hand.

@M4sti What I shared was what worked for me. Of course, I have put a lot of effort into consciousness work and into theoritcal understanding of addictions before, while, and after quitting some of my addictions.
