It's funny how people who advocate liberation are trying so hard to break free from their stories without even noticing that that's what they're trying to do all the time, without ever succeeding at it. People keep advocating consciousness but they themselves are not that much conscious. Freedom = Slavery you pathetic human deluded beings!

Feeling lonely doesn't exist for God. It's One and All, what would It even need besides Itself? Loneliness vs. Companionship is a duality. It only has value while in dualistic (me and other) consciousness. It means nothing to God. Because God is absolutely Alone. -

Yes, I said that. But I didn't say that it's true. Because, what does 'true' even mean? It only has meaning in contrast to something else which we could refer to as 'false'. True vs. False is a duality, it is relative and groundless. -

This qualitative difference becomes of no value whatsoever once you have it. And that is the gateless gate. It has value just like mathematics has value to a bee. -
No, it's not false. You get what you ask for. Most of the time we don't seek happiness, we seek other things and get them instead of getting happiness because we don't want happiness, we want the other things. If someone ever sought happiness, they would find it. Most of the time, all we seek is stories, so we usually end up living them, as it must be. It depends largely on what we mean by the word 'destructive'. @Aeris It's not really about all, some, or none at all. It's about what is in the present moment, and what it is calling for.

Why should I provide examples of something I didn't even suggest? You thought that I said beliefs are true, but I didn't. -

@Aakash How is illusion created? -
Truth Addict replied to mandyjw's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@mandyjw Thanks for the great video Mandy! And it's a beautiful setting out there! God creates the character in a story, and the character creates God through stories. Amazing! -
You're precisely correct, but you're placing a negative value on imagination, like it's bad or false or something like that, so you resist it and, in turn, it causes you confusion, perhaps even suffering I'm not sure. I mean if imagination is there and everything is already perfect, then that means that imagination must be there, it's not there by accident, it has to be there, since perfection implies the righteousness of everything. We're always growing and evolving independently of our will. Evolution is a greater force than our concepts and models. Maybe imagination is a vehicle for evolution and maybe we should embrace it instead of resisting it?

Truth Addict replied to Petals's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Petals Thanks! So are these conclusions not being? Is intellect not being? Are knowing and being separate? -
Maybe It's not quite correct. But can you give one example that does not fit into one of them?

@Aaron p ??❤️ @Nahm What do you mean by the word 'true'? @Preetom LOL. Of course, but only from a deluded point of view. In truth, all of that is unnecessary. But once enter that maze, you're stuck in it until you discover that you created the maze in the first place. This part of the path is the biggest obstacle towards liberation, because it seems so profound and meaningful that one does not want to let go of it, while in fact it isn't helpful for liberation at all, except for thinking-oriented people. Once you've had enough, all of it will seem ridiculous and pure mental masturbation. At least that was my experience. -

You're @WelcometoReality ?? -
I didn't find a sub forum that fits this thread, so I posted in the most active one. Perhaps you want to bookmark this topic. All tricks worked on Chrome and Opera. 1) @user(s): Very simple. You just need to type something in the previous line and next line, screenshot: Then you select the line above or below the @user(s). Then you take the selection to include the @user(s) and the other line (as shown in the screenshot). A simple backspace, or cut, and poof, gone! ................. 2) Quote(s): This one is kind of trickier, but still simple enough. Removing quotation(s) requires at least one empty line before the quotation(s). This trick cannot work on quotes that are at the very top of the post. Okay, so you quoted something and you want to remove it. You just need to insert a text and a photo in the line above the quotation(s). Then you select the text and include the photo and the quotation(s). So, it's something like this: A simple backspace, or cut, and poof, gone! ................. 3) For both: Insert an emoji before and after the @user or the quote, select them all, and remove. ................. Or you can simply post your post and then hide it, no big deal ??

Is it the "Don't argue with fools. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience" lesson? -
Truth Addict replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Those are all signs of being stuck in the mind. They all stem from the belief that no belief is true, and from deconstructing meaning and value. It should be a temporary stage that one must eventually outgrow, like myself right now, in the process of outgrowing. Until then, there is no true liberation happening. -

By pursuing authentic goals. But first, 'authentic' must be found. -

No, I should be sorry. It wasn't an advice, it was a command ??? -
Anything can be emotionally moving if you know how to move your emotions ? It's all relative to where you are at in life. You will be able to mix things up at the highest levels. You can laugh at your own death, or cry from ecstasy. I'm not completely there yet, but I can only assume that is the case.

I don't think it's even possible to grow through these stages without becoming more selfless by time. However, the expression of that selflessness can vary greatly between people due to many factors, including education and past traumas etc... Also, I believe we're talking about doing the 'right thing' in relation to us as human beings, if that's what you mean, which is an intermediate, not the ultimate stage.

Good thread! I'll just categorise the answers into three groups: Indoctrination. It comes in the form of dreams of a life void of pain and full of materialistic success (unconscious/very limited). Alignment with the expansion of the universe, to achieve some end goal, whatever it might be (kind of conscious and neurotic). No reason, because I can't help it, because that's how it is, etc... (conscious, relaxed, and happy).

Call it whatever you want, it was an advice. You didn't, but now you did ? -
Truth Addict replied to Angelite's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@DrewNows I apologise for criticising your advice, I only did that because I think it's being counter-productive. You're not wrong for offering perspectives, but maybe how you went about it can be improved, that's what I'm suggesting. I'm not against you, but I don't know anything about you except what you say. What we say usually is an expression of ourselves, that's not always the case though, so I understand, there can always be a room for error, my assumptions aren't perfect. I wasn't cherry picking words, words like 'must' imply strong clinging to a certain perspective, at least in my dictionary. However, you said that you love seeing others thinking for themselves, yet here I am doing that and you didn't like it. You didn't like my assumptions that are derived from my free thinking, not from my beliefs about you. I wasn't judging you or anything though, so I don't think that's the reason why. It's not about any of us. It's about us all.
