  1. If this was a video game, I swear next time I will read the license agreement! ?
  2. @Nahm Exactly! Because how can a pointer point to itself? Okay, I'll try. I'll use some pointers: There's the distinction between thought and reality that you're still creating. This distinction itself is a thought. So, you're still practically practising duality without even knowing. Or, it seems so to me from what you've written before. @zeroISinfinity
  3. No. I'm not saying that. I'm not even seeking to get answers. I'm trying to cause an apocalypse. Something meta, something beyond explanation.
  4. Pretty much stage Green understanding of Islam. Mohammad was the Turquoise of his era. He understood how society worked back then and played their game and won it. The guy was a legend. You gotta be very nuanced to see how advanced he was. Sufis are no match for him. It's hard, or nearly impossible, to say if the Quran was manipulated or not. There are many doubts about that, and many of them seem reasonable. One should read between the lines.
  5. @Nahm Such as: It's not dualistic. The word cup is not dualistic like all words. Definitions are not dualistic, not made up - not created. etc...
  6. ...[going on]... And the most important distinction to make/realise is the distinction of the distinction itself. This is the mother of all distinctions, and the essence of all creation. Awareness of the distinction is awareness itself. That is when you realise the nature of distinction. That is when you start to actually learn.
  7. @Nahm @zeroISinfinity Are you using duality merely as a tool, a pointer? Or do you think your pointers are actually the truth?
  8. @Ampresus I wouldn't call it 'fear'. I think it's better described as resistance or tension. However, if it is fear, then it has to do mostly with your old Islamic beliefs about Hell. Those of which need to be examined and questioned further. If it's resistance or tension, then it will automatically heal with time, simply by bringing more awareness.
  9. From an evolutionary perspective, I think this would be factually false. Because the scrotum is naturally kept away from exposure. Testosterone is a powerful hormone, it promotes all the "Alpha" features of the male. If sunlight actually increases testosterone, then I believe the scrotums would have been on our backs or something.
  10. YES! I LOVE the person I become after running! I can relate to all of these, but self-inquiry? How do you do it?
  11. Neither. I'm too lazy to pick a pill and then swallow it.
  12. Today I started reading "A Guide To The Good Life - The Ancient Art Of Stoic Joy". I realised that I am a Stoic! I'm not sure I will continue reading, even though it's given me already some nuanced insights. ... Distinctions are very powerful! The more nuanced you become, the more power you will have over your reality. One of the most interesting things about distinctions is that they raise your consciousness, i.e. they put you in the meta level, and you start operating from there. The meta level is like the most access you can get of your psyche. You become like the manager of the whole project. The project, which is, your life.
  13. Everyone is throwing their theories. But let's pause for a little bit. What is the relationship between enlightenment and dogma? Are the two even related at all?
  14. @Barna What I meant to say was that I used a different label as a pointer. The word 'happy' usually means 'excited' to the ordinary person. This excitement comes before peace and is usually followed by a sadness. That is what Eckhart referred to as 'happiness and unhappiness'. Highs and lows is what he means. But to someone who is already in self-development, I would guess the word 'happy' probably means an everlasting feeling of joy. This feeling comes from and after finding peace. That's what I want our friend here to have.
  15. Three layers of delusion: Assuming that there's something bad. Equating badness with low consciousness. Assuming that there's something bad about the former two. ... Anyway, to answer your question: enlightenment can happen at any stage of cognitive development. My little brother is enlightened at stage Orange, he cares about his looks for pragmatic purposes, and he's aware of that.
  16. If you're asking for a solution, then that's one shit that you give, probably regularly.
  17. I am happiness. Nothing. It's a gift, so you still have to open it first.
  18. Nice to know. But I wasn't even talking to you, sweetheart, you jumped in to collect my advice as if it was directed at you. Maybe that could give you a clue about yourself, and maybe not. Good night, handsome!
  19. @tsuki I'm ignorant and a fool. I don't practice what I preach. Plus, I like being a nuisance. ? @Aakash The whole point is that there isn't one right foundation. The whole point is to get used to being foundation-less.
